Clark coming back to live and Jor-el taking control of Lionel leave certain questions. First How will clark explain this to Lana. Second is Lionel gone or is Jor-el just temporarily using him? Do you think they will be anwsered 2morrow

Maybe, the big thing I am looking at is how will Clark explain how he has no marks on his body from being shot in the last ep.

well clark telling lana what happened will probably be a plot hole. it may be a few episodes before we find out if jor el is still in lionels body

Jor-El explained that Lionel's body is now a 'vessel' to be used whenever necessary, so i think Lionel is still Lionel.

I really doubt that these questions will be answered anytime soon.

Won't be answered....if there's any continuity I will be pleasantly surprised...Lana will probably be there just to demonstrate that she and Clark are still together...and wear a frumpy bathing suit in contrast to Lois's bikini!

Kind of bad when we're writing off "How did Clark come back to life and explain it to everyone" as "Plot hole." I mean, we're talking pivotal elements of the story here this time, not what color coffee mug Jonathan drinks out of. (Yes, I know, it's still the cow one.)

he didn't really need to explain it to everyone. he's not talkin to lex anymore, lois wasn't around, and chloe already knows his secret. he just needed to explain it to lana, which apparently he already did. probably with some lame excuse as always

I really think we the audience should have heard the excuse he feed to Lana and the doctors, its a huge plot hole to just skip over. But just like Lex's transfusions last year, this will probably never be brought up again...except maybe in an e-mail...that everybody will argue if it is or is not cannon...

Clark to Lana: "Lana, I need to tell you something. It's important. The reason I'm alive is because of a plot-hole, but um, don't tell anyone k".

Lana to Clark: "ok."

Lana to Lex: "It was a plothole."

Yeah, I tend to agree that in the next episodes we will just see Clark/Lana/Lionel carrying on as normal, with no explanations on screen.

Well ppl in Smallville talk so...yah maybe Lois knows through Chloe but knowing Chloe she'll cover up for Clark.

Lana will have to deal with Clark's lame excuses ofcourse, which she'll tell Lex prolly like the last episode.

Too bad Lex is cashing in the favour like this but then again no story without a villain ;)

I predict this will continue as a plot hole...will it be so sloppy that Lana will never discuss her decision to move to Metropolis? Or will we just see her there in the next episode? I would like to see her say to Clark that she needs to get out of the Talon apt to distance herself from Lex's and his stalker behavior...

To have this season start off as well as it did and then to regress back to lame excuses from Clark to Lana is extremely disappointing. I would have rather had a
mediocre year, all year.

We'll see, here's to crossing fingers...

Clark should just shoot himself with a kryptonite bullet.

That would solve his problem.

Ouch!

But, he would heal it up real quick after the bullet gets taken out.

Lana won't question how he came back to life, but Lex will continue to push the fact that people don't just miraculously come back from the dead.

It did not occur me that Lana would simply not ask, but you may be right. If she is desperate to be with Clark, she will try to pretend that he is normal and doesn't have any secrets. So this would a new spin on their relationship - Clark not wanting to tell, and Lana not wanting to know. "Clark is normal, la la la," she says, covering her ears when Lex comes in the room.

The fact that puzzles me is that they didn't even show him trying to explain to her.

Wouldn't that be a kick if he actually told her the truth?

I doubt it, but I would at least like to know what he said. And to top it off why he looked like he literally climbed back out of hell to reach her.
