Expectations for "Aqua"

I am really looking foward to seeing Brainiac in this ep, but urgh I really don't think I wanna see the return of Lios!

So far, I'd give this ep a 6, mainly for Brainiac, evil Shark Lex, and the awesome looking underwater stuff with Aquaman.

I'm thinking it will be cool, but not as cool as The Flash. I've never been much of an Aquaman fan.

I really can't wait to see what they have in store coming up because so far Hidden's missle scene alone looks hard to beat. ;)

I loved The Flash. Lets just hope that Aquaman can be half as good.

Aquaman was always kind of lame, but if they give him a revamp like the Flash, maybe this'll turn out to be another cool guest hero episode. I just hope they don't try to make him exactly like the Flash (reveling in his powers, no real "hero" instincts). He should be more hero-ish, otherwise it will just be like Run only with a different hero.

In the interview with Alan it says that he give clark some guidance in using his gifts. Just like Aquaman saves his aquatic life, Clark's gotta learn about using his powers for the good of what's above the water.

i never liked the character of aquaman, and when i look at the spoilers i doubt that this episode will change my mind.

the only thing i hope for in this episode is for some kind of clois moment. *

I bet the episode will be amazing.... i loved RUN and i think they did a smart thing by not making AC a kid.. like with Bart.. wasn't he 14 or something during the episode. I cant watch Aqua though.. have a class at the time.. seriously considering getting tivo.. coz i will keep missing the episodes for the rest of the semester... .. there is probably a better forum to ask this question.. but when do they rerun the season 5 episodes on the WB... i dont mind staying real late..

Even though Aquaman never hit it big before, I have a feeling Smallville will really make him look good. At least I hope so. I enjoyed Run, and I am looking forward to Aquaman.

i can see this as a giant filler episode that won't really advance the plot... not to say it won't be good, but i think this will be rather random (think Ageless)

yeah, and hopefully some clois :)

i'm just wondering if clark's going to give lana the shaft (not THAT kind of shaft! gutter minds! honestly! hehe) in this episode or the next one...

I saw something about season 5 reruns on ABC or some other station (dont quote me on that). btw, i got DVR this summer and it helps a lot, lol. plus you can go back and review the episode just incase you missed something. :D

Aquaman is a DC Comics character and I believe he is part of the "Justice League" isn't he?

It seems they are only allowed to start airing reruns of a season when the following season begins on the WB. Does that make sense? In other words, ABC Family started airing Season 4 reruns only when Season 5 began on the WB.

By the way, I second getting a DVR. I just got one recently and it is fantastic! Not only for SV :), but it's great because you can keep up with shows without having to rearrange your schedule.

I could personally care less about Aquaman.

However, I am really looking forward to this episode for a few reasons.

1) The return of Lois - She will be in a bikini!!

2) Lex really acting dark - "You may be a fish in a small pond, but up here I'm the shark"

3) The formal introduction of Brainiac

Going to be a kick ass episode, but probably not as good as Run.

Evil Lex and the introduction of Brianiac outta be good. You boys may be looking foward to seeing Lois in a bikini, but I am looking foward to seeing Aquaman and Clark in swimsuits and all wet! Yum! Good stuff. If worst comes to worst I can hit mute on the volume button and take in all the eye candy. Ep just went from a 6 to 8....

It'll be better than "Run." The graphics are better, and I think the writers are going for a better storyline. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping.

I'm betting Clois gets the ending loft scene and that's what I'm looking forward to most if it happens. Great chance for foreshadowing and even current relationship development.

I'm looking forward to this one for sho. I was not enamoured by Flash last year, he was too young and it didn't sit well with me that Clark was acting like some sort of role model when he has regressed.

Now we will see a more mature super hero with a more wordly outlook who will school Clark as it should be.

Great that Lois will be there, I heart her , she should be there every episode.

First official sighting of Braniac with clothes on, yes I have no desire to see him nude thank you very much, but I do want to see him, Braniac gonna rox:D

Also Lois being courted by a REAL superhero, yes I can just about allow my Lois to be with someone else. At least she's not fallen for Clueless Clark just yet.

I was more looking forward to the first one for the special effects and all but for pure enjoyment value it's got to be this one. So we got Aquaman, Lois and Braniac and less Clark ~woot~

I'm not particularly looking forward to this one beyond the introducing of Dr. Fine/Brainiac in whichever way - Aquaman wasn't exactly high on my list of characters i wanted to see.

I am really looking forward to this ep. I've heard/read good and bad things, like with every ep. One little thing might bother me.

I like Aquaman, though. I think he is really cool. Of course, my only exposure to him is the Justice League cartoon. But when he cut off his hand to save his son, he won me over. I know the cartoon is quite different from what we'll see here, but I'm still optimistic.

I think it is because he was out of the water for too long. He keeps asking for water and Lex taunts him with it.

I'm just trying to figure out how did AC dry off so fast if he gets caught while trying to sabatage something thats "underwater"? Does Lex jump AZ when gets out of the water with a giant fluffy towel and blow dryer? :lol:

We can't deny the fact that lex becoming evil and Clark becoming more Supes-like is the way this season could end up as the best ever.

Aquaman or no aquaman, those are the things I'm looking forward to seeing in this episode.

You have to remember that Superman is the leader of the Justice League, so seeing him with other superheroes is part of his development as well.

Oh, and a little Clois couldn't hurt either! Anything is better than Clana.

I'm thinking this eppy will be really cool, we'll get Lex being bad, a rumored fight between Clark and A.C, and what I'm waiting for the introduction of James Marsters as Braniac! I was a HUGE fan of Buffy and Angel and I'm anticipating next week's eppy as well.

I'm looking forward to it. I know more people would rather see Bruce Wayne, but that's likely never to happen.

I think it should be a good episode. Maybe not as good as the first three of this season, but hey, if it's anywhere near as good, it's still going to be a joy to watch.

I'm a little nervous about this episode. It has some great stuff wrapped up in it but it seems like it will be the first "filler" type episode this season.

If they connect it to the last couple of episodes with at least some minor continuity *and* if ED can pull a good performance(ya ya ya, i know...bikini.) i think it will do fine.

I like the direction AR and TPTB seem to be taking Aquaman and he definitely needs a revamp to get out of the being the Rodney Dangerfield of superheros.

Brainiac and Lex are definately going to be highlights and may help any weak points in the episode...i hope.

Here's hoping for another winner! Only 4 more hours to go for me.

I have no expectations for this episode. This way, I can be pleased by the end result no matter what. The only things I'm looking forward to however, are Brainiac and Lois in a bikini.
