Well,we all know the music from Hans Zimmer
(Gladiator,Backdraft,Mission Impossible,Batman Begins).

Although he is no Jhon Williams he has proven to do
very powerful music scores....and I think he can be considered as one of the best music composers after Jhon Williams.

I think he has done 100 music scores so far,and people seems to really like his music.

It is s shame that director Brian Singer didnt choose him for
Superman Returns,why Jhon Ottman?

I think that a music score by Hans Zimmer in Superman Returns
could have made a very good movie experience.

There are many film music composers out there, like
James Horner,James Newton Howard,Jhon Williams,
Alexander Courage....but I think that Mr Zimmer has
proven to be a very good music composer.

So,what do you think,is he one of the best movie music composers after Jhon Williams?

Because Bryan Singer won't work with any composer other than John Ottman.

While Hans Zimmer is writes very powerful music soundtracks, he's not actually the first guy in my book. Trevor Rabin to me is the best composers out there. Trevor Rabin's works include Con Air, National Treasure, Remember the Titans, Deep Blue Sea, Armageddon, Gone in 60 seconds, and the 6th Day. Even when the movies he writes music for are lacklustre, the music seems to keep me interested. Now I think that says something there.

Yes, one of them--I have the soundtrack to "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron", the animated film about the wild horse. Zimmer and Bryan Adams wrote the music and I love it! I highly recommend it to those who haven't heard it; don't even bother buying the songs individually :p
