The symbols on the ship and what Lionel has been carving/drawing are evidence that leads me to believe the Marsters is ZOD not Brainiac.

I really hope this is so. I just don't think that scene at the end of Arrival could be Brainiac.

I highly doubt it. Zod is a Kryptonian person. Not a Kryptonian computer program.

What gives you the impression that the scene at the end would be Zod, when you have a hard time accepting Brainiac?

I have a hard time accepting the JLA version of Brainiac being a Kryptonian computer. I like original comic book Brainiac story involving Milton Fine.

And it's more believable to me that Zod came from that ship.

I figured Marsters was Zod. Remember the 2 people that came from the ship identified themselves as his disciples (male and female). Just like Superman 2.

Except that Zod does not have the ability to morph into a black puddle of goo. He's just a kickass kryptonian, that's it.

And besides, Brainiac has been the kryptonian computer before in the animated series.

Nah, the spoiler forum is the only place where spoilers are allowed.

However, there are too many posters here who don't care or know and post spoilers in the episode forums (and post episode details in the GSD despite the one week spoiler rule) that I finally gave up trying to tell them not to.

I think this isn't techically a spoiler, because if you look at who Marsters is supposed to be playing on TV.com's website it says he's Brainiac. Anyone who wants to get a cast list or know the names of people who appear as what characters in episodes will hit up TV.com.

Personally I love the Kryptonian computer story in Superman/JLU better than the bizarre one that came out post-Crisis in the comics. I thought that one was stupid actually.

Im wondering if something is up. In the movies Jor-El is a good person and tries to warn the other people that Krypton is going to explode.

The supposed "Jor-El" we're seeing now is nothing like him. He's evil. Why would Superman wear his families symbol if his father was really like that?

Just found this out - Jor-El's voice is non other than Terrance Stamp the actor who played Zod in Superman 2!

And the way they are portraying Jor-El now is more arrogant than anything. Not neccessarily evil, just not giving much importance on the life of a few humans here and there, compared to the responsibility of the planet (and beyond) to Kal-El.
