If you haven't noticed, not that it is extremley crucial but, the writers and ppl tend to leave a lot of stuff out or just mess up and make glitches in certain parts of episodes i noticed a whole lot in this one:

clark and lana sex scence going from the talon 2 his house
( why on earth in the middle of sex would you go from one house 2 another, not 2 mention when clarks parents are home, was lana's bed at the talon not big enough? lol)

Meteor crashed house, 2 exact same way it was before ( OK so usually they keep a nice time frame between epis, but in this one was it just me or did a lot of time have 2 pass for that house 2 be fully built again not 2 mention it looked exactly the same)

Lana seeing Clark all torn up after his "death"( when she entered the house and he was in entirley different clothes and they were all burnt and ripped, plus he had just been notified dead, wouldn't she like ask him first thing wth?)

crap i kno there is more I cant think of

so wuddya think and if u member anymore please share

I admit the ressurection of Clark would make me more suspicious, but I guess Lana's just dumb that way.

As for the other two. I think it's pretty obvious that this was a different little sexual excursion from the last episode and that yes, time has passed allowing for the house to be restored. AS for why it looks exactly the same? Because it's the same set. Why didn't they change the set? Because that set is actually a real house, and people actually live there, so I don't think they would be too fond about idea of completely changing the interior.

First off I highly doubt that house isn't owned by the production company.

Secondly whether it owned by the production co or isn't, the inside shots do NOT take place inside the house -- they are on a set, and no, people do not live on the set. If the house IS the set, then I guarantee you no one lives there.

I agree on the original poster's point, the house should show some "work to be done" for an episode or two.

Actually, I live in the lower mainland, and I know for a fact that that house does belong to the people (the production co rents it from them.)

And if I'm not mistaken the interior of the house is also real. (an old friend of mine was in one of the episodes on that very same 'set').

It was a different night. They didnt move from the Talon to Clarks. They didnt have sex at the end of Mortal. Everyone thought they did just because they were making out and they cut to the window?

lana said to Clark "I told you we shouldve gone to the talon" IF this was the morning after the last scene of Mortal, than that line doesnt make sense because they were already at the talon.

No she wouldnt ask him what happened right away because the guy she is in love with who she saw die, right in front of her eyes is now ALIVE right in front of her. In that situation, would YOU say "Hey wait a minute... you died!!" or would you go do what Lana did?

We never saw any outside shots of the house. We just saw that the inside was nicer than last time. It could be a week and a half after Mortal and thats plenty of time to get new furnishings and fix the lace up a bit and get it painted. I mean Jonathan works at home. He has plenty of time to do that. The outside cold still be messed up.

I'm sorry I thought they were just rebuilding smallville.. like that was someone elses. bc remember clark goes with lana to get the nails at the barn, which was kind of far away. and Lana states that its great to see everyone trying to rebuild smallville.

Obviously we would all do what Lana did (except I'd do it over a girl... not that Clark isn't a good guy lol), but it wouldn't take long before I'd start to wonder.

There are numerous reasons why we believe Clark and Lana had sex at the end of Mortal in the Talon. This is not the next morning. I believe it's a day later personally but there's not a lot of information to go on.

I think it's more than a day later. Look at how nice the house looks in comparison to last episode.

And if I'm not mistaken the interior of the house is also real. (an old friend of mine was in one of the episodes on that very same 'set'). Um, they may film the exterior of a real house... but the interior is DEFINITELY not real.

I once saw a short documentary (more like a little visit to the sets) on the show (it played on YTV, a canadian channel). The hosts walked around the house, and went in the hallway, and doors were actually unable to open, because there was nothing on the other side. And there's this one room near the kitchen that is filled with electrical wiring and switches. In the whole house, many of the appliances (like the microwave) are fake, as is the food lying around the counters.

Oh, I remember that the scenery/background outside the house is also incredibly fake. When they go from day to night, a huge curtain slides down (or sideways... I don't remember).

At any rate, I'm 100% sure the majority of that set is fake.
(whoops... I sure used the word "fake" a lot...)

Now, onto the glitches: It is incredibly odd how both Clark and Lionel show up wearing different clothing during the scene in the FOS. Unless Jor-El can make clothes magically appear out of nowhere, he would have had to make a short stop both at the mansion (or his place in Metropolis) AND at the Kent Farm... which, IMO, would have been a REAL waste of precious time, considering Clark was dying!

But wait a second... wouldn't that mean that Lionel dressed Clark himself? The mere thought of Clark waking up while getting dressed by Lionel makes me laugh!

Clark :  Lionel?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Lionel/Jor-El : Erhm... I didn't want you to catch cold... since you were naked and all... :o
