View Full Version : Jor-El in Lionel, one time thing?

With Jor-El going into Lionel, Lionel appeared to be cured of his catatonic state/overload of Kryptonian knowledge.
The questions: Does Lionel still know everything that he knew in Arrival/Mortal? How did Jor-El heal Lionel? Can Jor-El return to the body when he chooses? Does Lionel really not remember anything?

im kind of hoping jor el is still in there maybe he is just playing and using lionels memories to con people or maybe jor el can come and go as he pleases in lionel body. i mean one season lionel was blind for a long time and last season he was good for a while so why not this season have him be jor el.

Well in the episode, Jor-El said he used Lionel as a vessel to help Clark when he needed it. I really think he will do it as much as Clark needs and I don't think Lionel knows anything more that what he knew after "Transference". I thought it was a good idea and mainly a NEW idea.

I don't think Lionel would remember everything that has happen in the last two episodes. He would be in some what of a shock, if he know.

Lionel claimed he didn't remember anything that had happened or the words "Krypton" and "Kal-El" (and wasn't that awesome hearing Lex say those words??).
I betting Lion-El will return, and what an awesome thing anyway, who but Lionel turns out to be the savior of Superman! The season is shaping up to incredible heights :)

I think that's the reason Lionel will die soon... Just like JK Lionel's body can't handle the Super stuff...

I know how TPTB love Lionel, they love to give him different angles, as he is a fine fine actor. They made him good for a while, just to let him flex his acting skills some more, show off a side of his acting prowess you rarely get to see, as he plays the villain all the time. And they wanted to do Transference for some time now, they where just waiting for the right time to insert that storyline. Letting Lionel flex some more, and channel Jor-El, is keeping in line of how TPTB think, and they will milk that for a few episodes before throwing that awesome idea away.
So I bet we have not heard the last of Jor-El in Lionel, but I also think that they will kill off Lionel this season, as I believe that Lionel, who is Kal-Els Dad, will be the one that Clark grows to love, the one that will die, giving his life source to Clark, to bring him back to life. We all saw a flash of energy when Lionel/Jor-El hugged Clark. This could have been just the process of bringing him back, unrelated to the life essence sacrifice mentioned. Or this could mean that he just transfered His life essence to Clark, to bring him back to life. If that is the case, I would think that Jor-Els life essence has its days numbered now.
