THIS was the best written episode EVER. TPTB mention Pete and Alicia.

Chloe and Clark scooby ganging lvl 3. "PETE SAW YOUR SHIP!"
Lana says, "Don't worry, Clark will come through, he always does."
Clark PUTTING THE SLEDGE HAMMER DOWN to give Sir Sparks-A-Lot a true Superman beatdown. (The most like Superman he has been the entire series.)
Clark MANNING UP to Lex... Well, Lex... are you satisified?!?!?! ARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
There was humor, there was emotion... Lana kisses like a fish outta water (WTH? Save some of his face for FEMA lady!)... and the pre-sex scene didn't make me puke!
I do appreciate that TPTB quit having Chloe pine for Clark this season. Now it doesn't look like Clark is being an ace to her. (Excluding the times when BDA is just a BDA of course.)

Even Billy-Joe-Bobette Sheriff's tet-a-tet with Clarkiepoo was good!
Like I said, last week had a lot of eye candy, but wasn't really a well written episode...
