Only two things good about this episode

I actually liked this episode. A refreshing look at how Clark deals with things without his powers.

All in all it was an ok ep... the Chlark teaming up was cool. Especially now that his secret is out in the open w/ her it was fun to see them interact, and him not having powers made them have to work together which brought them closer I bet. But at the end of the day, the war weary super hero must leave his battle tested comrade behind, and head home to Lana's open arms... gag!!

First, save the rolleyes. I'm entitled to my opinion :D

Jumps in believablility (yes, even for SV) were crazy. So Lex did all this -- he somehow knew the guards would be walking by (or set that up) and was able to unlock those super cuffs with a quick bump? Lame. They could have wrote that much better.

Chloe's computer skills. Are you kidding me?

How many times are they going to have human beings slammed against walls (espeically poor Johnathan) by some unknown force with little or no after effects? Last week he gets slammed by the Brainiac created Kyrptonians, this week the electro boy shoots him across the room with a BALL OF ELECTRICITY and he gets up with a "ouchie". Lame.

For the reason that Clark found out about Lex and finally did something about it -- I guess it all worked, but don't ask me to like it. I was bored most of the episode. It was typical FOW plus Clana crap until the end.

But that said, the Clark/Lex fight was one of the best things I've ever seen on SV.

Fair enough.

It just wasn't one that worked for me.

I felt like they can do better. Some of the stuff coming up (from the spoilers) looks much worse than this. But I'll keep watching -- even when SV is bad it's still pretty good.

Clana made the episode? It was nice for Clark to FINALLY get laid for once, but that was, without a doubt, the most clichéd "love" scene I've ever witnessed on television. Candles, practically CHOREOGRAPHED movements, and I knew before the camera started panning that it was going to move to a shot of the curtains with the wind blowing in.

I think that the stories can be fun, but I wish that the directors would try new angles rather than using the same techniques, only refined to the point of using a cookie-cutter standard, as every other television show out there.

Man no chick would go out with Dawson if he insisted on being a virgin. He had that hot chick from Joe Dirt as a girlfriend and refused to get busy with her, in real life she would think he was gay and leave him. AT least Clark has the comic book code holding him back, Whats Dawson's excuse? It's just dumb.

And they crank out too many of these teen drama shows, it gets redundant. After so many so called "rave reviews" Jack and Bobby got cancelled, and So did the Mountain.

Anyway, this episode RULED, everything from them saving Brainiac so we dont get subjected to another "KRYP-TUCK" for episode 3 (UM I Guess we probally wont see Brainy for a while, so dont post any SPOILERS HERE THANK YOU!!).

Chloe tells off LEX, LANA distrusts him , CLARK punches him out. FINALLY, Jonathan shouldve decked him in INSURGENCE.

I loved this episode, IM glad they brought back Kelly Sounders as a writer (from season two's SKINWALKER) . The "Powder" twins were cool, great special effects great directing, and Clark wins using his wits. Chloe always helps him in every episode, but she was invaluable this time.

And it was cool that they did mention Pete , so Chloe and Clark havent just forgotten him, like everybody guessed. IF they just keep using SEASON 2 and 3 writers, this season can bury season 4 forever.

THIS is the smallvile I remember.


And Dimension, at least they didn't do it in a barn, lol.

Oh, don't insult Everwood, it's a damn good show but I will give you Dawson's Creek and One Tree Hill :D I watched OTH (for the first time) and gosh, I appreciate Smallville even more.

I also loved the Clark/Lex fight, once I saw just how far Lex would go to get what he wants. I just hope we don't suddenly see them acting friendly with no explanation in episodes to come.

As for the Clana sex, well, it just as I expected. Predictable, corny, all sweetness and fluffyness. Not my liking and I can easily ignore it. They should just keeping making it NOT the main storyline and I can deal.

it surprises me how many of u find somethin wrong with some really good eps, i mean jesus, at least these meteor freaks were a throw back, although it would have been nice if tommy lee was actually tommy lee.

wow I really enjoyed this episode Clana again feels like season 1 again , Chloe and Clark mission impossible really fun Clarks reaction when he sees Chloe's boot " hey, is this a flashbang grenade", the callbacks to Alicia and Pete were cool but most importanly Clark decking Lex finally some fistycuffs. Whats not to like and they made an enjoyable episode without using powers but smarts.

i didnt really like all the lana and clark making out stuff but as long as they got it out of the way then its fine. i like the lex and clark fight and the fotw were pretty good since they actually had a plot involving the clark and lex split. i like how clark and chloe actually got to work together actually connecting rather then all the previous times when they worked together till a point and then clark rushed off. i kind of wonder where the dog was the whole time. did i miss him or what.
