Who played the part of Bruce Wayne tonight? Ahh yes... Ms. Sullivan. Whether TPTB meant it or not, this was a nice foreshadow to Clark and Bruce working together in the distant future. Yes, I'm aware that Chloe is female, but the conversation between the two of them was similar to a Batman/Superman conversation... like in the comics that Loeb is writing.... While Batman and Superman are fighting Metallo in a graveyard, Batman thinks to himself, "Clark, sometimes you can be a fool."

What was the line that Clark said... something like.. "Well normally I'd break open the door, superspeed through the room, and burn through the safe with my heat vision..."

Very apt, considering Chloe really is the World's Greatest Detective.

i sometimes think it's ridiculous at what chloe can do. how many times have we seen her hack her way into encrypted websites, and just about everything she did this week just seemed like too far out there. i love that she's willing to get her hands dirty and totally love the way she and clark work together to solve "problems". sometimes i think tptb should remember she's supposed to be what 18/19 yr old and that she doesn't own a magic computer.

Dude......your observation is so dead on! I also remember an upset Clark once saying " You're Not Always Right Bruce" on a Justice League episode. So ya........Clark couldn't figure his way out of a paper bag in this one. Not only did Chloe clue him in on a way to defeat the FOTW, but it was also her grenade. I mean.....Clark was getting all the credit, but Chloe was the one who was prepared....not him.......Mortal Clark?....equals pretty pathetic farm boy in my opinion.

And him figuring out that Lex was watching them.......or connecting Lex to Belle Reve on the date of the FOTW's escape....Chloe got to the bottom of it.....why?...Because Clark's a MORON!........and even if they are making Lex appear like a 2nd rate act next to his devious father (ah, a true master of evil).......it wouldn't matter, because the stupid alien would still be trying to figure his way out of the paper bag. Man......Good thing his little guardian angel is always around when he's powerless.......but then again...With or without his abilities, Mentally, he's proving to be fairly powerless.

While Chloe is a good detective, I wouldn't give her the World's Greatest title j-uuu-st yet.

When she single-handedly plots the neutralization of the JLA leadership ... right underneath their noses ... then maybe ;)

I agree that their banter does sound like Supes/Bats repartee -- they know each other so well. Clark's boy scout to Bruce's pragmatist. Clark stands for an ideal, and Bruce keeps that idealism in check.

Actually, No one will ever surpass the Bat in that Category....(humm....Sherlock Holmes....maybe....just maybe....or what about Question.....yeah?????), but you know....I've gotten to the point where I'd like to see a young Bruce Wayne visit Smallville, and appreciate her for the wonderful sleuth that she is......oh, and for her hot looks to......did anyone notice the charming grin/smile she gave Clark when closing the gadget trunk.......Man, Oh, Man!........I freezed the frame, and I gotta say that this was the most charming and beautiful look that she has ever given that big dumb Moron! It's easily the most beautiful shot I have ever seen of Allison Mack.

Anyone know where I can download a picture of that shot of her smiling?......PLEASE!
