Yeah. I agree. And also do not forget the other half of his brain - Chole.

Yeah, but I'll be glad when he's powers come back. It's not easy to save the day as a "Mortal" as it is when you have "SUPER POWERS" unless of course your BATMAN.

Well Clark's a strapping young man. Personally, I loved the part when he put the sledgehammer down and have Sparksalot a good whack in the jaw.

Does that mean we need to stop calling him BDA?

Mostly, Clark didn't save the day. Chloe , her brain and her gadgets did. Clark even quotes her after taking down the bad guy.

You forget, he did use one super power. As Chloe remarked..."super whining"
He is still a BDA......If I wasn't already I'd be totally in love with Chloe after how she handled the situation and gave her complete support to the man she loves.

Superman's not only powerful he's resourceful.
I'll be glad when his powers are back, though, because it can't stay interesting this way.

I think Clark figured out the depths of it after he left Chloe at the lab. While Chloe figured out how to get in, Clark is the one who devised a solution, which of course worked, as well as figured out the whole thing was a test from Lex. I'll watch the episode again tonight but I don't think we should ignore Clark's role in figuring things out. :)

Yes he did use Chloe's help in level three, but he was the one who came up with the idea to save his parents (and Lana).

Not just that, but he was smart enough to set up the bomb, thus blinding Sparky, then making it to where Sparky zapped the twins, thus shutting off the force-field.
Not to mention his impassioned speech to the Sherrif to let him try to get through the force shield. Plus getting Lex to hit him to reveal he was not impervious to harm.
Clark did a ton of smart things in that episode. He's just not a computer hacker or good at breaking through defenses like a spy would. Or a high school newspaper editor..... ;)

He couldn't have done it without two essential ingredients:
1. A bit of imparted wisdom from Chloe
2. A Flash Bang Grenade that someone else was quote "saving for a special occasion".
Yeah, make use of the tools, but don't forget who gave them to you......and just when you needed it to.
(Then again, Clark could have maybe used his Super Whinning to beat them into submission)

Both Clark and Chloe were clearly needed for success in the episode. Lois too technically, since she gave Chloe the grenade. Better not forget to thank the general, or else Lois wouldn't have been in a position to pilfer said item.

It was definitely a team effort between Clark and Chloe. Look at when they first arrived at the big doors and Clark went into his shpeal about how he would break in. He has always relied on his powers, not his brain. It was Chloe that made him actually take a step back and see things in a 'thinking outside the box' sort of way. It was Clark's plan to use the grenade and such, but I think Chloe was the catalyst to spark such an idea.

I think now when he´s out of his powers he will see how hard it is to be human, not because i donw that he knows, but when Lex in the future plans all what he´s gonna do, Vlark will probably realize his work for the human kind
