She is so cool. Even when Clark has no powers she has everything prepared. Even has a flashbang gernade. She even get's them into level 3. Clark was so useless in that scene.

Chloe is so hot. From the Chloevage shirt (yum :D ) to the flash grenade in a trunk full of espionage equipment, I love that girl.

NO argument here....Chloe is hands down the smartest person on this show....
and that includes any and all...for her age, for the lack of money in her life....etc...
she came out the smartest....most ingenious 18 year old ....

AND to boot , she seemed to understand Clarks destiny more than anyone...certainly more than Clark....
the girl looks at the big picture.....NOT bits and pieces...

Okay, enough Chloe gush....but dang she does my heart good

OMG, I'm watching it again, and the light in the cave must've been on to really highlight Chloe's "talent." ;) The cave scene is Stray's RIAM moment of the episode. :D

Chloe was awesome tonight. Loved the "superwhining" comment, heh, and the "Pete got to see your spaceship!" And the trunk full of weapons and grenades was very, very cool.

I loved the look on Chloe's face when she discovered that Pete saw Clark's spaceship. :lol:

was I the only one who wanted to slap Clark in the beginning when he told CHloe thats why he came back,,, and she was referring to something else than Lana,,, and the only thing I didnt like was the fact anyother time Chloe catches Clark lookin at Lana or dazed, she gets saddened,,, but she totally stuck up for them in this epp,,, just write me in Smallville and I would love to hook up with Chloe,,,, but mark my words, if Dean Cane comes thats her new love interest.. I love Chloe even more now.

Her standing her ground to Lex, the trunk full of gadgets, all her Mission Impossible skillz, and calling Clark on his whining. Loved It!

She definitely rocks!

The interesting thing about this thread is that I must have said, "I love Chloe," at least three times during Mortal. So this thread litereally read my mind.

Chloe is terrific in so many ways. I love how she responded to Clark losing his powers, how she continues to urge him to embrace his powers and move forward, towards his destiny.

Many characters are intimidated or just out-smarted by Lex, and I absolutely love that Chloe can hold her own against him. It just adds extra flare to the show. When Lex pitched the third wheel remark, I remember thinking, "That's low." But Chloe wasn't phased at all and that was a perfect retort about being a real friend. Not to mention the "I'll start asking questions of my own," answer was fabulous. :D.

Then there was the trunk of her car :rotfl:. I love the Chloe as the side-kick type friend, her intelligence more than makes up for Clark's incompetence without powers. But my favorite part was easily the, "Pete got to see your spaceship?!" Firstly, I nearly lost my mind at a Pete mention :lol:, it sure took them long enough. But her expression is priceless.

I really do love Chloe :D.

Yeah, there was just something about Chloe in last night's episode that really makes you love her. The writing of the character this year seems to be really good and sharp. I honestly found myself wishing last night during the Chlark scenes that Chloe was the star of the show and that Clark was just her bumbling sidekick. Chloe has a much better hero ethic than Clark does at any rate, plus she's smarter, more resourceful, and tougher.

I also said I love Chloe so many times that I just had to make a post about it. I think I am going to watch it again. I recorded the episode and will prob watch it two more times before next week's. :)

Chloe was the best part of "Mortal" I also loved that Lois was the one who gave her the grenade for a graudation present :lol:

I felt there was a line missing though tonight.

When Chloe says, "Sometimes it's easier if you just... turn off the power." As they enter the now open door I could almost hear Clark say, "And you think I'm amazing?!" :D

I liked this episode. It gave Chloe a chance to shine and do the things Clark would do.

Yeah, Chloe was definitely awesome in this episode - her dialogue and AM's delivery of it were tops.

But seriously, did anyone see her trunk full of explosive and think, "damn I sure hope Chloe doesn't get rear-ended in that car, or she is a goner"?

She influences him enough that he mimics her - how can she not be the best thing for him? That's all that came to my mind at least.
