Thanks for the link, I haven't seen this Batman Begins ( and wasn't planning on it) But i need to see it now.. that's how good your video was it persuade me to see it.. Your editing was awesome.. and that music. who sings it and the name of the song.. and the scene you used seemed to flow perfect with song.. Great Video...

Thanks so much charmedchick, it's the longest time I've spent editing a music vid and I took forever looking for the song. The song is called "The Noose" by "A Perfect Circle" and it can be found on their album "The Thirteenth Step". I'm so glad that the music vid makes you want to see the movie, that's what the purpose of the video was.

Thank you for the link Superman. This is the first Batman Begins video I have seen and I must say that it is really cool and well done. The song you used was enjoyable and fit really good. The order in which the video went was a bit odd, I must admit. You did capture a lot of the main points in the movie which was good. Overall, it was a great video. Keep it up!:D

:eek: OMG, this vid kicked so much ass. Unbelievable. You put all the best parts of the movie in it, and nice transitions and editing like the courtroom scene and his parents murder together and Batman taking off the mask and Scarecrow doing the same. The quality of this vid is amazing and the dvd isnt even out yet so I question how you were able to get such great footage :) Great job, I love the music too, went great with those beautiful gliding shots.

Thanks very much Highlander, I was hoping someone would point out the courtroom scene, it almost didn't make the vid because it wasn't fitting the way I wanted it to. Luckily, something fit in the last second and it made it into the vid. My uncle brought me the dvd from Europe and I was able to view and edit with it, thanks to DVD decrypter. As I mentioned earlier it took me a long time to find the song, but in the end I'm very glad I took my time, instead of using a song that didn't fit aswell.

That was one kick ass video. Your best video without a doubt. Editing was superb, and the scene selection... NICE.

My favorite part of the video was definately around 3:30 when the song kicked into high gear and the faster editing started. Great in and outs with the gliding and various scenes of the movie.

Another couple of spots that I loved...

. Near the beginning when you faded the two subway trains together showing it start out in the day and end at night. That was smooth

. The part where you show the guy that killed Bruce's parents on trial with the scenes faded in playing around him. I love it when people use that technique, and wish I could encorporate it in my vids more.

. The back and forth with old and young Bruce in the bats.

The song was a perfect choice by the way. Each time I heard the lyric plan about making your amends, it rang even more true to the film and the Batman/Bruce Wayne character overall. Was it by Perfect Circle?

A really superb video man.

Oh man, thanks so very much vyperman7 for your awesome opinion. A Perfect Circle is correct, the song is "The Noose". I heard the song and just thought "Batman Begins".I was very cautious about making this vid because I know how much this movie means to people(including myself) and I was afraid it wouldn't turn out like I wanted. I'm so glad you think it's my best vid, because it is certainly the longest and hardest I've worked on a vid (to date). Thanks again.

Wow, a very fitting song, especially in the beginning. The haunting, light vocals in the introduction really fit the clips of Bruce you used.

The subtle beat and overall more mellow tone of the song also really fits Batman as a character. It's tempting to use a more in-your-face melody in videos but I think anything dedicated to Bats needs something a bit different.

I also liked how you intercut clips of Bruce with his parents with the adult Bruce holding the gun, ending with him throwing the gun into the river over the lyrics "you cast your demons out."

One suggestion is around 1:36, when you had the shot of the bats flying around Bruce, I would have slowed the clip down a bit. I think the super-fast motion clashed a bit with the slow beat. But that's a matter of personal taste.

The faster cuts in the middle were done well, I would just avoid uber-fast ones like the cuts around 2:02. When you get that fast, you can't even tell what's going on, and if you only do it once, it just looks a bit strange.

The vid was practically perfect from 3:35 on. The choice of clips to match both the more intense and more subdued music was great.

All in all, great job. Begins is one of my favorite movies and this definitely did it justice. I also have to confess I'm glad your vid is quite different from the one I'm working on - I'm glad I don't have to worry about possibly stepping on your toes. ;)
