In this case it was different cause Clark wasn't hemming and hawing trying to hide his feelings cause he is a BDA that killed her parents.
Clark is at ease cause he thinks his powers are no more... thus he has no more 'splaining to do.
Lana was still Lana... giving the goofey pressed lips looks and being all... "I didnt mean it... except you look like you would be ok with me meaning it, so I meant it."
But for me the moment is believable when Clark is sold on it. Blank for example. That was the first time I was like, "Wow! He's really got the hots for Lana."

It was different, but I think as soon as Clark gets his powers back it will be the same old angst.

Yeah, it was different, because it's no longer the teeny bopper relationship they kept teasing us when they were in High School. It's a much more mature relationship. I don't mind Clana at all, I just don't want to be treated as a 14 year old every time I see them together.
Felt different yes, and it is exactly as you people say. Clark is now supposedly more human and hence he is at ease.
The way he told that he does believe in aliens was a fantastic addition as well. I could swear that if Clana goes on for a while now and Clark gets his power back he is going to let the secret go when it comes to Lana. I can feel it.
Fantastic!
Of course it might not happen but DAMN it would be great. Although, I'd say they will save the secret part for perhaps the very end of the series, or at least the end of this season.
Go Clana!

It was different for Clark is without power's again.
But I am waiting for the same ole once his power's return. He has nothing to hide anymore.
I just wish they would write in Lana finding out his secret sometime soon.
But I think it is leading up to that.

it was different (as mentioned above) he didn't have his powers therefore being less angsty but as soon as he gets his powers back I think it will be almost the same but yet still a little different, hopefully for the better:\

I agree for the most part, I think that now that Clark doesn't have powers, there is nothing lef to hide. Clark at this point doesn't know he will get his powers back so that's why he said "no more secrets, no more lies." I think that when he gets his powers back they will go back to the same stuff, but not all the same due to the fact that they are more mature and Clark might trust Lana more. That's what I'm hoping for anyway, I love Clana.

Nothing left to hide? Besides the fact that he isn't from this planet?

So now that hes not lieing to her anymore, what if out of cuiosity she asks Clark what he did with the stone she had. I know she gave it to him but what if she just asks? Will he lie? Will he say the truth?

What's different? Nothing. Lana is still a little ***** fairy princess who couldn't handle maturity and adult situations if her life depended on it. And Clark's a stupid BDA selfish idiot. Once his powers come back, it's going to be back to the same old same old 'yoyo' Clana, and everyone will be sick of it. I know I already am. And yes, I hate Lana with a passion. But it's not Kristin's fault, it's the writers. Lana in Nicodemus post-exposure was WAY BETTER, because she was self-confident. We need to see her with a backbone. A real backbone. And we haven't seen that, she's still whiny. And obnoxious, and 'all about me'.

seriously? ... they have "dated" for all of like 2 weeks... there is nothing mature about this relationship, or these people.

People with Chlark avatars = people that have nothing nice to say in this thread.
That being said, I personally loved the exchange between the two and I can't wait to see their relationship process.
If you know what I mean. ;)

I don't see how Clana could be different this time. Clana is a doomed romance that probably continues until the series is done. So, neither Clark nor Lana is going to wise up/mature anytime soon. I think it makes Clark look pathetic, although the shows wrirters probably think it makes Clark look more "human".
Even without his powers, Clark still has a lot of 'splainin' to do. if Clark really wanted to be honest with Lana, he would tell her about his past, and the fact that he's an alien and his involvement with Jor-El and the caves. When Clark says "no more lies" he means it in the sense that he means it for now because he is carried away with his emotions. I like to think that I was not nearly so dopey when I was a teenager. :p

I love Clana. To me the glass is half full for now. Yes, Clark should be totally honest with her. But me, I blame TPTB.
Clark obviously loves the girl, and he would NEVER hurt her on purpose or just to hurt her. I think TPTB just really want tension to remain in the relationship, b/c didn't Al say angsty-free Clana was boring, or something like that?
Anyway, Clana have a lot of fans. Why don't people at least let us enjoy the ship while it lasts? :) You can sigh in relief when it's over, if it's ever really over. And I'll have my tapes and/or DVD's so I can watch the hospital scene when I want.

They didn't bug me in this episode :)
But Clark saying "no more secrets and lies" is a lie itself until they're both honest with each other(her about Genvive's murder, and him about being an alien)

Just one point to differ with ya on. Lana didn't murder Genevieve. Genevieve was choking her to death. That's legal self-defense. Now the fact that she didn't go to the sheriff does make her look bad though. So that could play into the manipulation by Lex.

There was a nice Chlark scene in the episode, and there was a nice Clana scene. All the shippers should be happy.:)

I agree.
By the way, does MB stand for mob boss? Maybe that's a stupid question, but I'm not sure.

Heh, no. MB stands for Magnificent B*stard. It's what everyone calls Lionel, at least they used to back when he was actually more the villain of the show than he is now.

You mean before Lex proudly stood up, after shooting up Bo's knee, and proclaimed "I am the villian of this story!", ending speculation by many Superman fans if *Clark* was going to end up being the villian? ;)
