that was probably the second best piece of the episode for me. my friends and i were watching when the kryptonian chick threw out the braclet (and as uneventful as the actual "fight" was) we joked about them going into the "mirror". next thing you know it's the classic superman II shot of them in the phantom zone spinning away. the room just went wild. nice homage :D

thought that the fight was very short (probably for the stunt coordination reason mentioned above) but brillantly well done and the Phantom Zone was breathtaking!

I was really scared for Clark when Aethyr threw the bracelet at Clark and it almost hit him, it missed him only just and then it landed and opened and Clark looked completely freaked out.

When he looked into that thing, I saw more fear and horror then I've ever seen in his eyes before! Clark just stood there staring into it, entranced and frozen in a brief bout of fear. I think Clark knew what it was or maybe it reminded him of that nightmare void he was in last summer.

Which makes me wonder...If it had hit Clark would he have been captured automatically?

I thought that was pretty cool, although personally I've always been a bigger fan of the phantom zone being some other dimension like it was originally in the comics or the animated series.

I was kind of hoping that Clark would smash the thing or something...maybe heat it up with his heat vision and blast it into a million pieces so they could never come back...that would have been cool

but if he broke it wouldn't they escape, isn't that how zod and his diciples escape in superman 2

I LOVED the 'homage' to the movie Phantom Zone. With that and the FoS, it really felt more like a Superman show.

i have a question. are there more than one phantom zones, or is each mirror simply another window to see into it. because zod has to already be in the phantom zone( i thought maybe the one with the kryptonians from the show will fly into deep space and merge with the one zods at and then the empty one blows up or somethin.) also, since those two aliens never actually said their names, are they ursa and non? cause if not then it throws off the mythology from the 2nd superman movie. cause then there'd be like 5 kryptonians in the phantom zone.

well it blew up when superman put the bomb in space and they said that only a nuclear explosion or something can break someone out of the phantom zone. clark is probably stronger then that but it wouldnt make sense to trap kryptonians in a place that they can destroy on there own
