Hopefully this won't be forgotten about, and was just thrown in there so Lana would know about the meteor rocks hurting the Kryptonians.

I did like the 'glossed over' eyes for Lionel like Dr. Walden had back at the end of season two. When he's standing in front of the room where all the Kryptonite is, and the green is glowing off his face, he looks unbelievably evil and scary.:p

*wonders if Lex will throw Lionel in Belle Reeve for messing up the floor of the mansion*

lionel isn't possessed...he sorta becomes a prophet. he had the stone in his pocket when it called out to clark. that caused him to have a seizure, which then sent him into a catatonic state...this is when he was "downloaded" with kryptonian info. that's how he knew about the "disciples of zod" when he was carving the kryptonian symbol into the floor, the same symbol that was tatooed on aethyr's back.

and yes, he did look creepy when he was talking to lana in the mansion.

i was just disappointed that we didn't get to see more of the wonderful Mr. Glover in this episode. but i think, according to the spoilers, that we will get to see more of him in Mortal.

i thought it was an awesome effect when they had Lionel turn to face Lana after looking in the vault, and his blue glazed eyes turned green . . . that was awesome!

and he's just kind of a living breathing message machine for clark

ummm... possibilities from lore are...

Eradiator... and thats about it.

As far as Smallville is concerned, could simply be the work of Jor-El... whatever HE is.

Most likely, its just a plot device... ala Isabel to keep giving an actor lines.
