From day one Clark has most definately always held a soft spot in my heart. When he hurt , I hurt! But what happened here? Was it a wooden performance? Please tell me it wasnt wooden. Tell me
its the directors way of showing a boy become a man with a sense of stoic digniity. When his battered Mom and Dad got out of the truck. He didnot rush over, there were no hugs, no crying, no emotions from any of them, just "HI"! HI, that was it!!
I was left with a great empty lack of feeling. Again, did I miss something??

I think they were all still kind of in shock . . . none of them knew exactly what the other had gone through . . . and all the Kents know now is that Clark has no powers . . . JK doesn't think it's over at all, Martha is just worred as all get out, and Clark definitely has the wrong idea of what's goin on.

I don't think they didn't show emotion, I think the characters didn't know exactly what emotions to show . . .
