I didn't seem a thread about this yet but I may have accidently skipped it.
I thought this episode was just awesome and really dug the faded clips of the original Superman film when Clark was learning about Krypton. It was really emotionally satisfying to see clips of the film (the spaceship taking off and Krypton exploding) in the Smallville world.
