did you guys see jonathan upset during the end of the scene? was it becase clark is mortal now or because he doesnt have the powers to run the farm anymore? (ie make the income)

I think it'll just make it more believable, because really superspeed Clark could have it done in an hour. Who can really believe that? Even with the lame excuses (which are apparently gone from the show!)

i guess it will use up the 'three months later' gap that usually happens at the start of a season
