I'm glad it's finally out in the open.. I was hoping they'd at least mention Pete. Like, you're the only one beside Pete that knows.. hehe

Yeah it was as if Pete never existed on the show!

True, Pete deserves better, but man, oh man....finally Chloe knows/Clark tells her. "You're a good friend" "I guess not good enough." She should acknowledge that he's a B D A ! ! ! ! God, I love that woman! Chloe rocks!

Don't count your chickens before they hatch! If you look at the spoilers for the next episode, you might like what you read about Pete references...:)

Finally~it's out in the open!!
I really think they can have a lot of fun with having Chloe know his secret! I agree that at least according to some of the spoilers it looks like they will!
Great show tonight!:)

I kinda laughed when her first question was "Does Lana know?" . . . so we know she still likes the feeling that she knows something about Clark that Lana doesn't . . . it's the same old Chloe, but they did give her a good reaction
she didn't view him as anything else but the same Clark that she had always known . . . it will be interesting to see where they go with it

I was hoping that Chloe would meantion Alicia.
Like when Clark asked her "How long have you known".
"I've thought it for a long time (yada yada yada) but when I say you catch Alicia's car like a beach ball..." I thought that would be good, but no. :(

Yeah, I thought that was a cool response also but not even what she said but the look on her face when she said it. I was saying to myself WOW Allison is good when I saw that reaction.
I was very proud of her :D

Great reaction from both Clark and Chloe.
Yeah and I liked how she didn't freak out like Pete did. But, a mention about Alicia might've been nice.

it was truely great, I for one love Chloe on the show, he needs her right now. I think Clark will find out alot about himself and his future with Chloe at his side, my only fear is Chloe will die or go mad like her mum. I dont want to see her go away anytime soon, maybe shell survive her part in Supermans destiny and just be someone who goes her own seperate way and looses touch but never forgets Clark Kent, Man of Steel.

if she would have mentioned Alicia, the Alicia fans would get mad and say Chloe shouldn't of soiled Alicia's name. Clark thinks Alicia protected his secret. I dont care really if Chloe tells him exactly how she found out because Alicia did betray Clark, but I know many people will get mad at Chloe for telling on Alicia.

The whole Clark/ Chloe scenes were definately a highlight in the episode for me. That last "whoa!" was priceless imo. I think they did a great job on getting that talk out.

Personally I'm really glad Clark has another friend to trust his secret with for at least one more season. I just hope she doesn't die at the end of this season.

okay, did anyone else notice how they crowded chloe WAAAY over onto the left side of the frame while clark was looking out the window?
the only thing that i can figure that they did this for was to make it look like chloe's crowded and uncomfortable (as is generally the purpose when someone is shot this way) but, chloe seemed fairly at ease at this point... clark was the one that was tense. if they were going to crowd her in frame, they should have done it when clark finally revealed his "big" secret (that dirty, five-letered word that starts with an "A")
didn't make a whole lot of sense to me... either it was an accident of some sort, or there's a subtext here I'm missing.
also, it was interesting how the clark was lit in this scene.... warm colors, yellows and reds across his face. making him look more human... more accessable. using a room with natural daylight was a good choice for this scene. florecent-type lighting would have made the scene much colder, and possibly made clark seem more alien. (whoops, i said the A-word... i ment extraterrestral-american)
but then, i could be reading WAAY too much into this show :)

The hospital scene was awesome, Allison pulled it off really well. The one thing that bugs me is how Clark totally ditched her there, like he forgot all about her towards the end of the episode.
Have you noticed how a lot of the big stuff between the characters happens in a hospital?

Ha! When Chloe asked about Lana knowing Clark should have replied, “No, just you and my parents. Well…and Pete. And Dr. Swann, but he’s dead. The same with Alicia. …and Kyla and Ryan. Hmmm, but then there’s Kyla’s grandfather, he knows. And Jeremiah knows, but he’s in a coma. Oh, and Bart Allen knows about my powers, but not the part about me being an alien. The same with Kyle Tippen. That Phelan guy knew too, but he got shot. And Dr. Helen Bryce, but she’s dead…I think. I’m pretty sure that Eric Summers knows along with Ian and that other Eric. And Van, but I think he’s also dead. And Tina Greer, but she’s definitely dead. And Lex knew for a little while, but forgot when he went crazy. I think Lionel knows something though. No, other than that pretty much just you.”

Finally the day has come and the chloe fans rejoice in the streets :\
We are finally in that inner circle of the kents, pete, alicia, ryan, a couple of FOTWs, and that creepy kryptonian duo.
But if that is a good place to be im still not sure.
I am however sure that this will mean tons of chloe which means more chlark, scooby adventures, and no more lies.
He says there are no more lies for clana?
then....then...what lines will lana have?
That eliminates 90% of everything she talks about :p

LOL! I know - if they really got into all the people that Clark has revealed his powers to, it would have taken up the whole episode. It's like the worst kept secret.
Hopefully, Chloe and Clark will get a chance to discuss at least a little more about what has really happened for the last 4 years.
But, I agree with the thread title. I loved Chloe's reaction.

No Chloe is not good enough a friend. Next thing you know she'll post his picture on the lost and found aliens website. She'll be like "oh a thought I'd get a few hits! Like when I looked into your adoption without permission". "Oh , youre upset with me? Is it because I never learn, Im extremely annoying and I prattle endlessly?"

Chloe didn't need to mention Alicia as Clark figured it out. His turn to look out of the window and then pause was that sinking sensation when you realise something and let it settle.
That scene was great, they could have made a complete episode of them two alone in that room. Had they done though, I'm sure that a lot of this season would have had to been re-written.

I liked the scene, but Clark does have a lot more explaining to do. And hanemg was right on the money -- Chloe does know the secret, but so do a whole lot of people who either know out outright, or know enough that they could piece it together soon enough. Surely, some anonymous staffers at LuthorCorp., the Luthor estate, the Talon and the county sheriff probably know more than Clark would like .....
As long as they don't make it out as Chloe being the only person he could ever trust (hello, Pete? & refer to long list of other people who know the secret/parts of it), then it's alright that Chloe finally knows. And she should know it by now.

He said standing at the window..."there were so many times I wanted to tell you"...
But, how many times MORE he wanted to share his secret with Chloe than the NUMBER of times with Lana is the question??
