I cannot believe the absolutely BOMBS that are dropping in the episode. Everything I never thought would happen, has already happened in the first 25 minutes. My deepest apology to the Powers that Be for doubting that this episode would not be the best EVER.

This reminded a bit of the the Max and Isabel scene in Roswell when he told he "wasn't from around here"...

I had to laugh at that...

It was pretty cool I guess.
I wonder if clark trusts chloe.
If i was him I sure wouldn't.

I know, he said things to fast. I think he should of took more time to explain then just run off.

Why isn't Chloe trustworthy? I think ever since "Extinction" she's been pretty good about keeping secrets. Besides, she's still in love with Clark and now knows the only chance she has is if she keeps his secret.

True, but that was a LONG time ago (2 seasons). Besides, Chloe could have left Clark in Lex's mansion in "Commencement" but she dragged him out.

I see your point, but I basically forgave her once Clark forgave her and Lionel betrayed her.

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned..."

Chloe wanted to make Clark pay for his dishonesty. It was irrational and unfriend-like, and even I didn't appreciate that she did it (and I love the girl), but she's a female teenager, and she was coping with her issues the easiest way she knew how at the time.

If she wasn't to be trusted, she would've kept doing things behind Clark's back and saying she'd given up on them...kind of like Lex. ;)

Chloe is no where near as trustworthy as pete and she will only cause problems now that she know clark secret.

I honestly don't see how this will cause any more problems than it did with Pete. Chloe has been covering for Clark without him even knowing it for months now. She knows, and it's about time that he knows that she knows. As a Chlark fan, I'm very happy about this development. The Chlark scenes in this episode are terrific.

The line "I wasn't born anywhere near this galaxy" is a great one, I just had one problem with it. When Clark met Dr. Swan it was stated that a stare system was no longer visible in the sky; the origin of the meteor storm. That would place Clark’s origin somewhere that the light could be seen from Earth. If he was from another galaxy the star would never have been visible from Earth.

Regardless, it was still a fantastic episode.

I also loved the remark “when you caught a car like it was a beach ball”; referring to one of my all time favorite scenes.

famous last words " No more Taxes" come to mind when Chloe said she would never tell Clarks secret.

Yeah, great Chloe lines and that beach ball comment couldn't have been more perfect.

Good point made about the Dr. Swan comment too. I seem to remember him saying that as well and didn't think anything of it. Like, okay, the star from his planetary system has exploded, gone nova or whatever and now you cant see it. No biggie.

But now that i know CK is from another galaxy, it's like, wait a minute, 'cause you need a telescope to see another galaxy, even though they're made up of billions of stars. Because even the closest galaxy is so far away, it looks like a faint smudge of light even with a good telescope like in Clarks loft in the barn. Of course with a huge telescope like the kind you see on mountain tops it's another story.

Well, okay, if thats what Swan meant, that you don't see the Krypton sun anymore through one of those huge scopes, then it would make sense. I wrongly assumed he was talking about looking up and with the naked eye and not seein' it anymore but i guess not. He couldn't have meant that because theres no single individual star you can see with just the naked eye, when its a star thats inside another galaxy. You always need a scope for those. Of course you can see billions of individual stars at night but those are all in our own galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy.

I wish I had a telescope like CK! With that kind of scope you could actually see the rings of Saturn, the great red spot on Jupiter, the moons flying around both these giant planets, and even red surface features on Mars. You could see our moon up so close you'd feel like you were on it - especially during a full moon. Plus you could see stars in our own galaxy that are so far away and so faint you could never see them just by lookin up. And the coolest thing would be to see the sprialing arms of another galaxy like the Andromeda Galaxy. Awesome to think there are probably other intelligent people somewhere out there looking up at the stars in their sky at night, wondering about the same things we do. No one knows for certain yet, but if there aren't other people out there that would sure seem like an aweful waste of space!

(last line borrowed from Jodie Fosters dad in the movie "Contact")

I loved that scene as well, though I am quite disapointed she didn't mention a certain someone who was with her when she saw him catch the car like a beach ball. It looked more like he was handling it as if it was a TV set.

Yeah, so it's a bit obvious I am happy to finally see this talk happen...

It bothers me in the end that Clark didn't go "oh shoot!" "I don't have my powers and I left Chloe in the middle of nowhere!"

Too busy with Lana.. ehhhh... :\

I think "the talk" was planned out and delivered perfectly.

Early in the conversation, Chloe had a clear advantage. She seemed to really enjoy the moment and Clarks uncomfort, in a playful sort-of way.

That changed pretty quick when Clark dropped the " .... wasnt born anywhere near this galaxy" bomb. I absolutely loved it!

I really look forward to more of the Chlark interaction and i cant wait to see how Ma n Pa Kent are going to react to Chloe's knowing.

Any inconsistancy could have been erased with, i wasn't born anywhere near this solar system.

I agree, it was a problem he said another galaxy. And about seeing Rao, Krypton's red sun, Kyla in Skinwalkers says you could see it with your naked eye. I was in the middle of a constellation the kawatche people made in the sky. A wolfs head, and Rao was it's eye, but it disappeared years ago.
