Whatelse is new right.. Lex was also tricked when Clark got hurt playing football when the cheerleades spiked the drinks with kryptonite to brainwash the players hitting their membrain that focused more so on love. Clark got hurt and was bleeding and that fooled Lex also, and the fact that Clark was sore form doing a little famr work and asked Lex to help, but he got suspicious at the end when the last bit dripped out of Clark and he was perfectly normla again and Lex swore he had a huge bruise on his head just a minute ago and had a puzzled look on his face.

Which is why it's a good thing Clark loses his power for at least an epi or two.

Yeah, you always wonder how all these people are eventually going to forget about Clark ALWAYS being at the scene... ALWAYS being the guy who brings them back to conciousness after some impossibly powerful madman threw them against a wall...
Lois especially... as inquisitive as she will be... meeting him all BDA'd out, nekid in a cornfield... picking her up like a rag doll... THEN 5 years later with glasses on he can't open a peanut butter jar... he is never around when Supes is around...
I mean seriously.
At least if everyone sees Clark getting sick, hurt, bleeding all over the place it will help secure that future secret identity.
(Although in the comics, along the lines of Superman Birthright, I think Lex knows dang good and well... he just refuses to acknowledge that Superman is Clark... because doing so would give credibility to the humanity of Superman. Acknowledging Clark, acknowledges his humanity... and since Lex sees him as BDE(vil)A(lien), he just wont allow himself to admit something he knows is true.) (Of course that was all before the series went stupid and had Lex go crazy in inject liquid Kryptonite into himself.)
I mean they worked so hard to set up this unique thing... they showed Supes as VERY alien, and they show Lex as this crazed nut trying to champion for humanity by eliminating supes... thus making humanity survive on its own and grow as a result instead of being dependent on BDA... then in the last comic the freaking blow it.
/sigh.
oh and showing supes as Very alien was good, because it made him very alone in the universe... thus he connected with us the reader. His loneliness made him human.
Don't forget season 1's Leech.
Roger Nixon told Lex that Clark might be superhuman and later he sees Clark after he loses his powers.
This'll probably be along those lines.

yea, Clark bleeding from Lex giving him a good roundhouse punch will throw Lex off a little, however, I am sure Lex will try to found out where Clark or Chloe disappeared too during the bright flash of light in the cave.

I think it is lame that he loses his powers. Always at such a convenient time to help throw Lex of his trail... it is getting old, and way too predictable.

As a few people already said, there was an earlier episode where Lex got really suspicisous, but something happened and Clark started to bleed, I think that really got Lex off Clark's back but now he is back and he will test Clark again. In the new preview you see Lex hit Clark AND Clark punching Lex back, that looks amazing, I can't wait to see that.

If you look, Clark swung at Lex first, but, Lex blocked it and then hit Clark. I think that Clark swings again and nails Lex, making him fall to the ground. That is where you hear Clark say something about how he endangered Clark's family and friends.

the whole reason why lex hits clark is because lex thinks clark might be kal-el..but when he hits him he bleeds so..

Well, Lex's curiosity got the better of him. Or maybe it was Clark who wanted to prove to Lex he wasn't superhuman after all.

where did you get that notion? Clark swings at Lex first. There was dialogue in the trailer where Clark accuses Lex of endangering his family and friends. Unless Lex tried to blow up the kent farm to prove Clark wouldn't bleed, I don't see how him punching Clark would have anything to do with that.

Punching him would have the same effect, you see Clark bleed so that in essence proves, in Lex's mind, that Clark isn't Kal-El. In "Arrival" when the Kryptonians picks up Lex, one of them says, "It's not him, Kal-El wouldn't bleed." By Lex punching Clark, Lex is just trying to see for himself. I mean punching him probably wasn't the best move, but it's Smallville, lol.

What i'm saying is that Lex is going around looking for Clark to punch him and prove that he is who the "aliens" (cause that is the only thing Lex knows, is that they are aliens) were looking for. I'm sure that when he does hit Clark, that when Clark bleeds he does dismiss the fact that Clark could be who they were looking for. I am only saying that it seems as though people are believing that Lex is out to prove Clark to be another alien like the ones that landed, when, if you watch the trailer, Clark was the one swinging first and accusing Lex of something. Lex isn't the kind of person that would just let Clark swing on him, so of course he will swing back, and when he sees Clark's blood that probably removes Clark, or atleast makes him think twice, about him being this "Kal-El" person they were looking for.
In the back of his mind he will probably still suspect Clark of something, but the Kal-El part would be a lesser choice for him now.
