She used her X-ray vison and said "He has the key" so they thought he was kal I guess and she put her hand out and the key floated over into her hand and Lex said "Who are you"

Just after Clark cut his finger on the glass in Lana's hair, he saw the Octagonal key was lying on the floor of the study. he hesitated a moment and picked it up. It looked like he left a smear of blood when he did it too (Though I doubt TPTB) will use that smear for a plot point).

i think he hesitated so he could see if it would float to him, that was his second clue he lost his powers... besides him bleeding...

I mean seriously all Lex wanted was the truth... !!! he is going wacked out now looking for the trurth... poor guy....:(

I think Chloe's palm pilot will be another one of Lex's obsessions along with the spaceship. He will have his team of experts make it show the video of the light and who was in it. As for the key, Lex only knows that the Kryptonians had it.

You do? I don't. I do believe that Clark's DNA might be of some use to Lex.

Clark picked it up in almost the last part of the episode when he realized he was bleeding.

Did you notice that Clark left his blood on the floor of the Luthor Mansion

wouldn't be surprised if Lex tries to get a DNA test from it.

i think he paused a moment to decide weather or not to take the key cause the key is the only thing that may bring him back tio having superpowers and any questions he may have. he probably took it just incase he didnt want to be human or something.
