I was looking online in school, and while i checked my yahoo email, I saw an ad for smallville on Yahoo. page. It was right on the front page! do they normally advertise on the front page of Yahoo, or is this the making or beginning of a special season? Hopefully, that'll bring in some extra viewers! It looked really intense, and got me excited for the premiere.

they're advertising more now than i've ever seen for this show. the ad has been on the front page of yahoo for the past couple days at least, there's also an ad in AOL instant messenger, they have the little popup things practically every few minutes during the evening WB shows and commercials like crazy. Bravo to the markeing department! I remember the days when the only commercials we saw for smallville were pretty much just after an episode aired.

actually they did the same thing on yahoo last year for Crusade.
they had the "Look Up" marketing campaign on the main page as well as all over the TV page. But it's still good advertisement.

they should have had at least an image of James Marsters as Braniac. I mean it is good promotion and all, but maybe Marsters is the boost that Smallville needs.

TPTB and The WB are really trying to promote Smallville this year. It is the network's biggest show right now and from last year and the poor advertising.
I see a special year for Smallville and my expectations were answered last night in Arrival.

It's about time. And if TPTB and the WB are really smart, they'll advertise on CMT and Country radio stations when Tom Wopat's episode is scheduled to air. There are alot of Dukes fans that would tune in to see "the boys" back together.
