It is kinda like Ranma 1/2, except the guy (Daisuke) turns into this mastermind theif angel named Dark everytime he sees the girl he likes. It is really good and pretty funny.

Yeah, I think I've read the Berserk manga. Didn't care for it if I recall. BUt whatever floats your boat, I always say.


Earthian, Legal Drug, Fake--I've got all those and love them all! The only yaoi I've seen is Kizuna, Fake and some stuff on Youtube. (bless that site, bless it!) Oh and Earthian.

Gravitation.. I don't like Shuichi(pink-haired boy), but Yuki is just too hot. It has its moments that kind of.. weird me out, we'll say.

But if I did have an endless supply of money, I'd dedicate an entire bookstore to yaoi and live there. That will soon become my life goal. I have a list I take with me whenever I go book shopping that has an entire list of yaoi mangas. It needs to be completed!

Have you read Demon Diary? It's not "really" shonen ai/yaoi but it's got enough of a "flavor" to make it worth it, I think. And Raenef (the protaginist) is ssssooooooooo cute!

If I ever won the lottery I would so buy every yaoi book out there (well, maybe not Gravitation and some of the others that don't look good, but most of it!) IN fact, I'm planning on spending most of my tax check on manga and figure half will go for regular manga and half for yaoi!

That sounds like a perfect way to spend your extra cash. Now, if I won the lottery, I'd of course buy all yaoi mangas ever created(in both English and Japanese) and a helicopter to store them all in.

I'm beginning to think Youtube has just about everything. In Japanese mainly, but they always have English subtitles so at least I know what's going on. Also, if you haven't seen Ai no Kusabi, you really need to. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I finally got round to starting Cowboy Bebop, and it hasn't dissapointed so far. It's a perfect blend of action and comedy, and the use of music is superb.

I've also watched the first volume on Paranoia Agent, a somewhat disturbing but very interesting series. It really draws you in more to the mystery with each episode.

I'll have to look it up later.

The Smallville ones I just discuss with my friend(Xsmallville_obsessedX) and she looks into making them, but if I could do it myself, it'd probably surround Clex and other yaoi. :lol: During the summer when I actually do have free time, I'll probably start making them, or at least attempt.

To Torgo: Cowboy Bebop is an awesome anime. Never read the manga, but the movie is also really good. As for Paranoia Agent.. I severely didn't like it for some reason. Not because of its 'disturbing' point-of-view, but I just thought it was slightly boring.

Paranoia Agent is quite difficult to describe, as so much revolves around the mystery of the show. Essentially it's about a kid on roller skates attacking people with a baseball bat. Which doesn't sound very interesting as of itself but it soon does draw you in, as this clearly isn't a normal kid. What he is and what his motivations are slowly become more difficult to work out. The mass hysteria he causes is really the central point of the show, at least in the early eps I'v seen.

It can be a fairly difficult show to follow, since although there are recurring main characters, each episode tends to focus on someone who was only a minor character before. So if one character's tale doesn't grab you, you probably won't enjoy that episode much.

I havent read the Cowboy Bebop manga yet, though I have heard good things about it.

Torgo, the Bebop Manga is pretty good but it loses a lot in the printed form. No music to set the mood, no cool quick cuts. Worth reading but the anime is much better.

I've just recently found out about the publishing place DMP. They're the ones who made 3 of the 4 mangas I bought the other day. Speaking of which, I finished Our Kingdom last night. It wasn't bad at all. It was just weird because the two boys were kind of.. cousins. x.x I just tried to ignore that fact. I'm now debating whether to have the second volume ordered or not.

DMP is pretty cool. They have a lot of good stuff but their yaoi is usually more (cost wise) than the rest.

Hey sadabeem! I got But I'm Your Teacher yesterday.
It was good! A collection of yaoi short stories I loved them all (except the very last one, that one just had themes I don't care for at all!). It was worth every penny and I'll be rereading it again and again.

I actually bought a lottery ticket the other day (perhaps I was influenced by this thread! :lol: ) I didn't win anything though. Darn!

Magical girl (and guy) stuff isn't for everyone. I know a lot of people who are into yaoi and shonen ai and don't like that. It's too shojo for them. So don't feel pressured, sadabeem.

Holy crepes! Volume 6 is great paced and quite the thriller. I was on needles during the entire latter half of the book. I wanted to pace out my manga purchases, but gosh darn it, I feel compelled to get Volume 7 today. ^_^''

New anime convert. An Inuyasha movie almost scared me off for enternity, but after being exposed to Samurai7, and getting up to ep 16 on Full Metal Alchemist, I think that I'm an anime convert. I have finally completed my stage to uber-geekdom, I have entered every single nerdy area possible! (anime and manga were the final frontier)

Full Metal Alchemist was a good choice. I'm not much of an anime fan, but FMA would easily be one of my favourite shows in any medium, and it only gets better as the series goes on.
