La, La, La!...I can't hear you! La, La, La! ;)
Well, even though the snow gods did not hear you and send a blizzard, I'll be posting an update Friday.
Hope everyone who celebrates it had a nice Thanksgiving.

Sorry I'm a day late. I came home last night and couldn't get on the internet. Don't know what happened, but it seems to be working now.
This update is with Naman and Leotie. Been a while since we've seen these two. If you don't remember what happened with them, click here (http://www.kryptonsite.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=1817949#post1817949) to re-read the last dream sequence.
Chapter 29
“Please?” she begged.
Naman and Leotie were sitting alone on the floor of her father’s hut.
“No. I promised your father that you would rest.”
“Awww…Please, Naman?” Leotie rose to her knees to face him and wrapped her arms around his neck. She gave him a quick kiss. “My father won’t know…We can be back before he even suspects,” she persuaded in her sweetest voice. She began to give him little kisses up and down his neck.
“Augh!” he groaned and wrapped his arms around her. “You are going to be the end of me, you know that?” She giggled as he attacked her neck with kisses.
“O.K. Let’s go before my father gets back from talking with the elders.” She wiggled herself out of Naman’s grasp and stood up. “He’ll be gone for hours. Besides, I’ve been cooped up in here for over seven days, and I have to get out now!”
“Are you sure you feel all right? It hasn’t been that long since you were bitten by that snake.”
“Naman, I’m fine…actually, better than fine…I feel great!” she said hopping about.
Leotie didn’t understand why, but ever since Naman mixed his blood with hers, she’s felt better than she’s ever felt before. She felt strong, healthy and so full of energy. Being told to stay inside and rest was making her stir-crazy. She had to get outside and release the pent up energy.
“Then, you’ll need this.” Naman stood holding her red blanket.
“Naman, it’s not cold out…I’ll be fine.”
“No arguments, Leotie. No blanket, no flying.” Leotie rolled her eyes at him and submitted to his request. “Now, come here.”
Leotie walked over until she stood in front of him. Naman draped the blanket over her shoulders and tucked it tight around her body. “I won’t let anything happen to you…I promise.”
Leotie untucked one arm from the blanket and touched her hand to his cheek. “I know you won’t.” Naman took her hand in his and lovingly brought his lips to the pulse point on the inside of her wrist. Leotie’s cheeks reddened at the gesture and smiled. “We’d better go.” She pulled her arm back into the blanket and peeked out of the entrance of the hut. “Nobody’s looking…Come on.” Naman followed her out of the teepee and around the back. He picked her up and looked around to see if anyone saw them. When he was sure, he sped them off out of the sight of the village. In a few seconds, they had reached the treeline, where he set her down.
“Ready?” he asked.
“Yes!” She was so full of energy that if she could, she would have jumped higher than the trees.
Naman turned her around so her back was to him and placed his hands on her hips. He slowly began to rise off the ground, lifting her with him. Leotie’s heart began to race so hard she could hear it pounding in her ears. He then turned so that she was under him and they flew off over the frontier. Leotie watched the ground beneath her speed by in a blur. They swooped down into the valleys and then soared over the rolling green hills. She released her arms from the blanket and held them out from her sides to get the full flying effect.
“Woo-hoo!” she squealed. “Faster, Naman! Faster!”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes!” she said excitedly waving her arms to go faster.
“All right…Here we go!”
Naman sped up so fast Leotie felt as if her stomach sank to her feet. He spiraled around, making her giggle uncontrollably. As he righted themselves, he saw Leotie point to their right. Not far away was a flock of geese taking off from a small pond. Naman wanted to make sure she got the full experience of flying, so he pulled her close until their bodies touched and he moved one of his arms to encircle her waist. He moved them closer to the geese until they were practically part of the flock. The birds squawked at first but then continued to fly as they were. Leotie reached over and touched the soft downy feathers of the underside of one of the geese. Even though Naman could not see her face, he knew she was smiling, and that made him smile, too. The goose let her touch him for a few moments, but then decided it had had enough of these strange beings and flew off with the rest of the flock in tow.
The sun was shining brightly, so Naman rotated so that Leotie was on top looking up at the bright afternoon sky. She closed her eyes from the brightness and soaked up the sunlight. With Naman under her, she felt like she was floating on a cloud. Her hand found his at her waist and she gripped it tight, letting him know how much he means to her. In response, he tightened both arms around her.
They found themselves following the river until they came to a lake. Naman dipped down until they were just above the water. The wind was so calm that the surface looked just like glass. Leotie could see a perfect reflection of Naman looking back at her. She reached down and dipped her finger in the water, watching the reflection blur in the wake.
They found a soft grassy area next to the lake and touched down. Naman removed the blanket from her and spread it out on the ground. Leotie stepped in front of him and looked out over the lake. She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. She felt so invigorated, even more so that she’s been out in the sun.
“Is this what it feels like to be you?” she asked.
“What do you mean?”
“Always energetic…feeling like you can’t just sit still, that you have to be doing something.”
“Well, this is all still new to me, but...yes…sometimes. Some days I just have to run as fast and as far as I can just to burn it off.”
Leotie turned her head and looked back at him with half a smile. “So, that’s where you disappeared to sometimes.”
Naman came up behind her and pulled her to him. “That, and I knew that if I was close to you much longer I’d start something on fire.”
“So, you ran off for my own safety?” she teased.
“You could say that.”
“Well, we’re close now.” Leotie turned around in his arms and gazed up into his eyes. “Do you feel like starting anything on fire now?”
“No…Not yet,” he replied slyly.
“Good…And since I can’t run as fast as lightening, we’re going to have to come up with another solution, because I’ve got a lot of energy to burn,” she said seductively.
Ever since she was bitten by that snake a week ago, they were never really alone. Her father refused to leave her side. Today was the first time he had left the hut…and the two young lovers couldn’t restrain themselves any longer. Naman crashed down on Leotie’s awaiting lips. She felt her feet dangle as he lifted her off the ground and carried her over to the blanket. He laid down, taking care to place her on top. Their mouths continued to explore each other. She entangled her legs with his as her hands found the edge of his shirt. Her small hands made their way up his body. She felt each of his muscles tighten as her fingers brushed over them. The coolness of Leotie’s hands on his hot skin pushed Naman over the edge. He tried to stay in control, but the burning sensation in his eyes neared the threshold. He closed his eyes at tight as he could.
“Leotie…W-Wait!”
“What? Why?” she whispered as she nibbled just below his ear.
Naman couldn’t take any more. He quickly sat up, bringing her with him. He knew the lake was just in front of him, so he leaned her to the side a bit out of his line of sight and opened his eyes.
“AAAHHHH!” A burst of heat hit the water creating billows of steam. When the heat was spent, Naman flopped back on the blanket panting. Leotie, who was still sitting with her legs on either side of him, turned her head and looked back at the lake.
“Oh, that’s why.”
“I’m sorry.”
Leotie looked down at him. “You don’t have anything to be sorry about,” she said comforting him.
“Leotie, I’m different. I know I want to be with you forever, but I don’t know if we can be…together.”
She gave him a warm smile. “It’s O.K…We’ll figure it out.” She played with the beads at the bottom of his shirt. “And if we can’t, I don’t care…I just want to be with you.”
Naman bent his knees and she leaned back. His hands found hers still fiddling with the beads. “You are amazing, do you know that?” he remarked.
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, you are pretty amazing yourself.”
“I don’t think the elders see it that way. I’m not so sure they will let me stay.”
Leotie moved and laid down next to him. She draped her arm over his chest.
“Well, you saved the life of the daughter of the medicine man. My father is a very important man in the tribe. I’m sure he can convince the elders to allow you to stay.”
“I hope so.” Naman turned and lightly kissed her forehead. He could smell the sweet herbs she used to wash her hair that morning. “I can’t imagine anywhere else I’d rather be.”
They laid like that in each other’s arms for a while longer. Naman looked up into the sky and noticed that it was becoming a darker blue.
“We’d better get back before anyone notices we’ve been gone. We’ve been gone for a while now.”
“Can’t we stay a little bit longer?” she asked. Naman gave her a look.
“I know, I know…We have to get back before my father finds out.”
Leotie reluctantly stood up, feeling the coolness of the air as she separated from Naman’s warmth. Naman picked up the blanket and carefully wrapped it around her. He then cradled her in his arms and flew back to the village, making sure that no one noticed them coming back.

:) Oh, it's so good to have a Naman/Leotie update. That was so cool how he took her flying, and how he can't control his heat vision because of her. Your decsriptions of the scenery were beautiful. :) PPMS!
Card... it might give Lana some ideas... ;)

"Frisky" seems to be the favorite word to describe the interaction between Leotie and Naman, and I guess I'll have to agree...
They are having the relationship that Lana and Clark should be having right now. Maybe those dreams will convince Lana about who it is she should accept and love. :\

I'm sorry to say that this fic has been abandoned....I know she's still posting on K-site...she just posted a message 2 weeks ago...but it seems she has no interest in wrapping this fic up....I hate it when they do that....no respect for the readership.
