lol.. unfortunatley.. lol.. yeah my friends kinda keep me busy.. they tell me what i'm doing haha.. yeah they are bossy. It's like well Alex ur coming tanning with us and we're going to the mall, we'll be at the movies at .. lol.. and so on.. and they are shorter than me too.. and they just boss me around.. lol.. but yeah today is one of my very best friend's birthday, so yeah.. anyway.. i guess you guys kinda hate my friends for taking me away from you. lol.. but i will try to update either tonite or tomorrow probably tomorrow just bc we are probably going out tonite.
anyway.. no i didnt forget you. i am very busy! high school's a blast, and i gotta keep up so, I am on here as much as I can.
I still love you guys though. :D

Like today they said that they are going to go see a movie friday and i was like i dont really want to and they said "NO your going I am going to make you go weather you like it are not" and i was like..wellll ooook. LOL but i still love em to death. But please update when you can!!

took me long enough huh? lol.. well here it is.. i had some free time. give me some love and give me feedback..
"Ummm.. what?" Chloe said giving Clark a look of insanity. "Are you serious?" she sat back and looked at him a moment.
"Yes, Chloe, I wouldn't joke like this, I have no idea how I got here. Do you believe me now?" Clark asked pleadingly.
"Is that why you've been acting so clueless today? I mean really Clark, I thought you must be like hungover or something, but I can't definately tell there is something wrong. I can see it in your
eyes."
"Yes, that's what I've been trying to tell you." Clark said with a sigh of relief.
"So what's the last thing you remember? I mean of course before you came here, from wherever you claim, if we are really persuing this pathetic excuse for your embarrassment of me finding out
about you and Lois." She said it spitefully and cold and she just shot him and cold glare waiting for him to speak. Clark couldn't believe what he was hearing. Did Chloe actually think he would
cheat on Lana?
But, at the same time, how could he blame her for distrusting him this way. This new Clark was so different from the person that he was .
"Chloe." Clark said feeling disappointed, but just then Lois walked back in.
"Turn on the tv." she ordered at Chloe, "looks like we may have a new story." Chloe slowly moved her eyes from Clark and got up to turn on the telvesion in the corner of the room. The news was
on and there was a reporter sitting behind a desk. It showed a middle-aged women's picture behind her on the screen.
"And it seems another women has been kidnapped, this is the third in 2 weeks. Police say that at every abuduction sight there has been left a green question mark. No more word on that, will
tell you more as the story develops." said the reporter as she starts in on another story. Clark stared at the screen for a moment examening the women's face. She was light complected with
dark eyes and dark hair. Just then Lois turned off the television.
"I think this shows promise. Let's get to work." she ordered as she sat down with her coffee at her desk looking over at Clark a moment, but not making eye contact. She sipped her coffee and
motioned for Chloe to join her at her desk.
"But, I think Clark has a deadline on a Superman story." Chloe said looking over at Clark. "And I promised I'd help him out." She said as she looked back at Lois.
"Well, I also have a deadline on the Luthorcorp scandal." She sat back and thought a moment. "Why don't you take this new question mark man, and you can help Clark and he can also helo
you if you need any help or something." She looked at Chloe and then at Clark shifty and quick.
"Well, if you're sure" Chloe said looking back and fourth and Lois and Clark.
"Uh, yeah, I mean me and Clark have been working alot together lately." she paused. "Maybe we just need a little space." she said looking into Clark's eyes as she said it. Clark felt the intensity
of her eyes drilling holes through his. He broke the uncomfortable stare.
Just then the phone at Clark's desk rang.
"Uhh.. Clark Kent." he said in a professional voice as he held the receiver to his ear.
"Hey, hunny." came a voice from the other end.
"Oh hi, Lana." Clark said recognizing her mezmorizing voice. "How's your day going?"
"Oh, it's fine, I was actually wondering about you. Uhh.. the daycare lady called me. She said you seemed a little frazled, not like yourself, and it got me to thinking, you have been acting a little
strange lately." she paused and the phone was silent. "Is everything okay , Clark?" she paused again. Clark didn't say a word as Lois stared at him holding the phone to his ear. "Is there
something going on that I should know about?" Lana said starting to sound worried.
"Umm.. no, everything's fine. I just wasn't.. uh.. feeling that well this morning, but I'm fine now. Everything's great now that I'm talking to you." Clark said with a smile. Lois looked down trying not
to show that she was hurt. Clark could almost hear Lana's smile on the other end of the phone.
"Well, okay. I love you , Clark. You know that, right?" she said in a quieter tone.
"Of course I know that, sweetheart, I love you too." Clark said as heart starting beating a little faster.
"I'm really excited for tomorrow night." she said coming back to her normal voice again. "And ask Lois and Chloe if we're still on for shopping this Sunday after church."
"Chloe," Clark said leaning toward her, " Lana wants to know if you , her, and Lois are still all on for shopping Sunday." He said taking a big gulp as he looked at Lois.
"Uhh.. yeah.. tell her sounds great." Chloe said looking to Lois.
"Yeah we'll be there." Lois said to Clark.
"Yes, they said that's good with them babe." Clark said to Lana on the phone.
"Okay well, I can't wait to see you tonight, and don't forget you're picking up the kids from daycare at 3:00."
"Okay Lana, I love you, I'll see you soon."
"I love you too." she said as Clark hung up the receiver.
"So, I've been thinking Chloe." Clark said putting his hand on his chin. "This guy leaves question marks at the crime scene."
"Yeah, and actually, I've been doing some looking and it seems like he leaves riddles and clues along with that. Kinda weird if you ask me." Chloe said shrugging.
"The guy seems like some kind of joke to me." Clark paused. "Why not call him the Joker?"

Awesome update! I really like this story, and it would be super if you updated more frequently! I almost forgot about the superbabies at daycare! And now there is a new villain! AND we still need to find out what happend to Clark. SO MUCH TO KNOW!

"The Joker?" Chloe said with a little sarcasum. "Now that's a joke." she said with a laugh.
"Oh, come on" Clark said getting defensive. "He's gotta have a name right? Helps sales for sure." He said trying to persuade her.
"Uhh, yeah, whatever." She said rolling her eyes at him jokingly. "Gosh what time is it?" She looked down at her watch. "Wow, it's already 1:00, Clark, you wanna go get lunch." she said
walking toward the door.
"Uhh.. actually , I.." Clark started.
"Okay, great! Let's go!" she grabbed him by the arm and pulled him into the hallway. Clark shot her a look of confusion. "What?! I couldn't take anymore of those looks you and Lois kept passing
to each other anymore. And yes, you can thank me now." she said with a smile as they walked down the hallway to the elevator. They both stepped into the empty elevator. They both just stood
there for a moment , not saying anything. "Ya know ,Clark.." Chloe looked at him, "I belive you." she looking him straight in the eye now. "At first I thought it was a long shot, but now..now I can
really see that you are meaning what you say." She moved closer to him. "You really don't know what's going on do you?" she tilted her head a bit and gave him a sincere look of understanding.
"No. Chloe, I really don't. I knew that if there was anyone I could trust with this it would be you. I mean, you've seen me at my lowest." Clark looked away from her and down at his shoes.
"I do have to admitt, it wouldn't be the first time you've gone awall on me. But, Clark... how is this possible?" Clark looked back up at her. "How can you be in the future?"
They both just starred a moment, and just then the elevator made a "ding". The elevator stopped, and the doors opened. The awkard silence was broken and they both stepped off and into
the main floor.
"So... where would you like to eat." Clark said looking at Chloe.
"How about the cafe just around the block? I'll drive." Chloe said as she walked out the glass doors into the parking lot. She unlocked the car and they climbed into the car.
"So, Superman? Who is that?" Clark said wondering if Chloe knew it was him. She just looked at him a minute and then started to drive.
"I'm not really sure actually." she said focusing on the road. "He just always seems to be there at the right time ya know?" She didn't look at Clark. It was obvious that she knew something. Was
she being fascious, Clark thought to himself. He wanted so desperately to ask her, but he just couldn't take that chance, at least not yet.
"Sounds like a pretty good guy though." Clark said looking over at Chloe.
"Uhh, yeah, he is." She stopped the car and stepped out. "He's saved me life a few times to say the least." She said to Clark as he stepped out. But, then she stopped and walked back to him,
getting quite close.
"Just so you know, you trusted me with your secret back in high school , Clark." she whispered into his ear.

I am finally back able to write again guys! Ladies and Gentlemen. Boys and Girls.. lol.. it's time that I present you with my new update.. drumroll please.. lol... haha.. hopefully more tomorrow.. comments please (and you can comment this time NYC, ya smartasz) lol
"What secret?" Clark said a little startled. Giving her a look like she was crazy.
"Oh, come on!" Chloe said getting a little upset, but laughing. "You know, the one where you kinda told me that you were Superman." she said with a more than obvious
wink. "I mean, technically you weren't Superman when I found out, but I knew about your heritage and your..." she paused. "Your powers." she whispered. Clark didn't
know what to say. And what could he say? Once again Chloe had just left him in the dust.
"I. I..." poor Clark, he looked so confused. "Really?" Clark said in amazment. "And you didn't freak or anything?" He said as he realized that obviously she hadn't.
"Well, at first it was a shock. But, Clark, I mean, you were still the same person." She held out her silence. "You were still my best friend. And if that ment that you were
an alien, then that ment I supported you 100%." Chloe said looking up into his eyes waiting for a responce.
"And.. now Lana knows?" Clark said pulling his briefcase out onto the table they had just sat down at. He nervously opened it and showed her the suit. "Because well, she
said I might need this. So that means.."
"Yes Clark, that means you trusted the women you married!" Chloe said sternly to him. "And she trusted you. Clark, how could you do that to her? I mean, even if it wasn't
technically "you" , it was your future self. I mean, you've loved her for as long as you've known her." She just looked at Clark waiting for another one of his great excuses.
But, this time, this time Clark was lost for words. He didn't want to look Chloe in the eye. He kept looking around the room, until suddenly he ran out of places to look, and
then his eyes landed on her's. Suddenly a buzzing noise went off in Clark coat pocket, breaking the uncomfortable silence between them.
Clark reached into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone. "Hello?" Clark said as he picked up the phone. "Hello?" he repeated, but there was no one there. At this
he looked at the time on the phone. "Ahh! I gotta go get the kids." Clark said getting up in a hurry. "Can we take a raincheck on that lunch?" he said heading for the door.
"And the conversation." she said in her Chloe like way. "Oh and by the way, happy aniversary, Clark." Chloe said has he walked out of the coffee shop, and supersped
back to the dailey planet.
"My anniversary?" Clark thought to himself. "As in marriage anniversary? Is that was Lana was talking about earlier?... I've got to do something really nice for her, I guess
it's the least I can do." he said lowering his head. "I'll show her just how much I love her." he said to himself as he walked to his car and opened the door.

here's the update.. I've been feeling much better.. love you guyss :D
Chloe was pondering her conversation with Clark there alone at the small round coffee table, but suddenly decided that it was quickly becoming pathetic. She grabbed
her bag, and started for the door. But, just as she passed a both she slipped on some slipped coffee. Completely embarrassed she tried to grab her purse and run, but just
as she did, she felt a hand on her back.
"Need some help miss?" Said a man in sunglasses as he helped her up.
"Thanks." Chloe said looking up at the friendly stranger.
"No problem, Chloe." the man said as Chloe got up and walked out the door and got into her car. Chloe started the car, but sat there for a mintue.
"How did he know my name?" She said out loud , as she drove away feeling like she was being watched.
From the window, watched the stranger. "Yes, they've both just left Mr. Luthor."
Clark was in a hurry on his way to pick up the kids, but he was smiling the whole time, thinking of how he was going to surprise Lana. What could he do to show her just
how much he loved her?
Before he went to the daycare, Clark stopped to get Lana something special from the jewlery store. As Clark stepped into the flower shop the little
bell attached to the door jiggled, and it made him think of Nell's old flower shop, where he always used to go and visit Lana. Of course his excuse was that he wanted
flowers for his mother. "Haha, right." Clark thought to himself. "I wonder if she always knew I was crazy about her?"
Clark slowly strolled through the flower shop until he came to a group a flowers that made him stop. "Lilacs," Clark whispered.
"Yes, they're quite beautiful aren't they." came a voice from behind Clark. Clark's eyes widened as he lowered his brows for a second look.
"Lex?" Clark uttered with sheer amazement. "... is that you?" Clark said stepping closer to the bald man about 40 years of age now.
"Has it really been that long Clark?" he laughed. "Do I really look that old?" he stepped in and patted Clark on the back. "What brings you to the Metropolis Flower Shop? I
just figured you'd be running off somewhere, writing big stories about me and the LuthorCorp scandals, or maybe Superman saving the day." he said in a mocking way. At
first Clark didn't know how to respond. Did Lex know his secret? He couldn't take that chance, so he just disreguarded the comment.
"Oh, well, it's mine and Lana's anniversary tonight, and I wanted to surprise her." Clark said with a smile. "And what brings you here, Lex?"
"Oh, just my latest infatuation, that's all." he said dismissing the question all together.
"Well, Lex, I've really got to run, I've got to pick up the kids. Great to see you." Clark said as he picked up the flowers, quickly slipped the cashier cash, and quickly walked
out the door and got into his car.
"Yeah, nice to see you again too," Lex whispered to himself, "Superman." he let fall from his lips.

okay! okay! here it is.. I've been super busy with Basketball.. but here's ur long over due update! Enjoy, and tell me what you think please! :)
"Keep 'em closed" Clark said to Lana as he led her out into the street infront of their house. "Hey no peeking!" Clark said snatching Lana into his arms and hugging and
cuddling her and giving her a quick kiss on the forehead.
"Where are we going tonight Clark?" Lana asked with eyes still closed and smiling. Clark hugged Lana tight, and suddenly, they were flying. "Ahh! Clark! Stop it! Somone
will see you!" Lana said through her laugh. She didn't really want to stop, this was the greatest feeling in the world to her.
"I don't care you sees me tonight, I'm with the women I love." he said looking deep into Lana's eyes. Then he suddenly turned his head away "I'm in love with my wife, and I
don't care who knows it! I love this girl! I love you Lana Kent!" Clark screamed at the top of his lungs. He sent the birds near by scattering. Clark laughed at looked back at
Lana. "There, does that prove it?" he said as he leaned in and kissed his love.
" I love you Clark Kent, with all of my heart." she said kissing him and playing with his hair as the glided through the air. "Never leave me ." she said letting a tear slip down her
cheek.
"Never." Clark whispered in her ear and kissed her forehead. "I'll never leave you, Lana." As they neared the ground still completely lost in each other's eyes. Clark's feet
touched the ground, he continued to hold Lana in his arms. When she realized where she was, she cupped her hands over her mouth and started to cry. "What's wrong?"
Clark asked not wanting to disappoint her. There they stood just outside the Kent farm where they used to ride horses together.
"It's not that" Lana said wiping her tears from her eyes, "This is where you first told me your secret. I remember it just like it was yesterday. I remember thinking, how great
our lives were going to be together. I always wanted to spend my life with you." she said tearing up again.
"Wow, lucky landing," Clark thought to himself. He walked up behind her and puts his hands on her waist. She turned to give him a very passionate kiss. "I feel like we're
17 again, Clark." She smiled that smile that made him melt.
"You are the same as you used to be, the same girl I've always been in love with." he said holding her hand and walking over to the big oak tree that they always used to
have their picnicks. Clark had obviously planned ahead, because there was a beautiful picnick set up for the two.
"Just like old times." Lana said as they walked over to it and sat down. "Did you make this , Clark?" Lana said starting to laugh. Clark blushed, and after much debate with
himself replied.
"I ordered out." he said grinning. "I can't cook to save my life, that's what my mom's for." They laughed and started to eat.
"MMmm! everything's so good!" Lana said smiling as she bit into some fried chicken. Clark looked at her and sat down his corn he seemed to be working quite hard on.
"Lana, there's something I should tell you." Clark said looking down.
"What is it Clark? What's wrong?" Lana said still eating her chicken.
"Umm.. well.. " Clark stubbled for the words. "Tell her what you've done! Beg for forgiveness! Tell her you have no idea what's going on! She would want to know!" Clark's
head was screaming. "Nothing," he started, "it's just you look so beautiful tonight, I think I'm falling in love all over again." Clark said reaching for her hand and squeezing it.
"Thank you sweetheart, you look very handsome too. I don't think you've aged a day." said Lana wiping off her hands.
"And a beautiful lady deserves a beautiful gift." Clark said pulling a black velet case from his pocket and handing it to him. She looked at him and smiled. She slowly
opened the box , and revealed a beautiful diamond necklace and earrings. She couldn't speak, she was breathless. She just grabbed him and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you , thank you, thank you!" Lana shouted excitely.
"I saw you eyeing them."
"You shouldn't have, really."
"But I wanted to." Clark said with a smile. "I love you so much, Lana." Clark whispered in her ear.
"I love you too, Clark.

Lana held Clark's hand as the walked lingeringly through field as the sun began to set. She smiled as she looked up into his big , blue, strong eyes that took her breath
away. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him.
"Lana," Clark said softly.
"Yes , Clark." she responded sweetly.
"Will you dance with me?" he said looking deep into her green eyes.
"Here? You want to dance right here in the middle of this field?" Lana said laughing and grinning widely.
"Yes , I do. Right here in the middle of this field." Clark said taking her hand in his again.
"Clark Kent, you never ceise to amaze me. And I would love to, but we don't have any music." Lana said letting him pull her in close and wrap his hands around her waist.
"Yes we do." Clark said as he procede to sing in her ear gently. " Take my hand," he sang in a whisper. "Take my whole life too, for I .. can't help .. falling in love .. with
..you." Tears slowly slipped down Lana's face as she smiled. She pulled him closer and kissed his soft lips , showing him just how much this meant to her.
"Clark, I want to remember this forever. I want a snapshot of this moment in time, and I want to keep it in my heart for ever. The way we are, the way I feel, the way you.
Just everything about you, and me , and this moment, and the sweet little details of it. I am so in love with you, and that's never going to change. No matter what. You have
completely stole my heart, and I know that without you, without you Clark," she stumbled over her words through her tears, "I could never be complete. And I'm so glad that
I know I will always be whole with you by my side." She said kissing him again.
"Wow, I don't think I could have said that any better myself. I feel the exact same way about you, but then I always have." Clark said looking at her smiling. "Thank you for
being my wife, thank you for my beautiful children, and thank you for this wonderful life, Lana. You are my everything, and I mean that." Clark said hugging her. "Now what
do say we get outa here? I think the kids are in bed by now, and you know what that means." he said smiling at her as she smiled back mischeiviously.
"Clark Kent, you are a bad boy. Is that all you ever think about?" Lana said joking.
"Well, that's not ALL I think about." he said laughing as he picked her up and they flew away.

well i know i've been gone for a while so.. here's the update you deserve. lol. i love you guys !!!!
Tell me what you think .. I want your comments people.
They quietly came in the down, trying their best not to wake the kids. They hurriedly paid the babysitter and sent her on her way. So they sat on the couch for a minute just wondering what to do.
"Clark", Lana said all of a sudden and smiling.
"Yeah, Hun?" he said smiling back at her. She slowly moved closer to him and put her hands over his eyes, kissing his neck.
"Do you remember what comes next?" she said grinning.
"Well, I could guess.." Clark said starting to laugh.
"You've gotten it every anniversary since our first, does that help any?" she said breathing softly against his neck. Clark started to chuckle. "Don't peek." she said as she moved away from him.
"Okay, I'm not looking."
"Okay, open 'em! " she shouted with excitement. "It's chocolate covered stawberries, they're your favorite." she said handing him a tupperwear container. "Haha, I remember when I first made these, you said
something like, I think I like these almost most as much as I love you." She hugged him, and Clark smiled, but he didn't remember this, he didn't remember any of this. He thought it was sweet that Lana cared so
much and remembered that they were his favorite though. He took one out and tasted it.
"Mmmmmm.. this is good, Lana." Clark said. Lana was brimming with happiness. He handed one Lana one also, and they just began to go away at them. Soon, there was only one chocolate covered stawberry left.
They both reached their hands down for it at the same time.
"Oh, no you go ahead, I made them for you." Lana said sweetly.
"No, that's okay, remember, I love you more." Clark said knowing she would again refuse it and he would then eat it.
"Okay." Lana said picking up the stawberry, about to bite it.
"Wait, you can't eat that." He said in total suprise.
"And why not?" Lana said chuckling.
"Because, well, that's mine." He said looking like a little boy.
"But you gave it to me." She said smiling at him with a whitt.
"But.." Clark started as Lana shoved a pillow in his face and ran for cover on the stairs. He laughed as he supersped to the stairs falling onto her. She couldn't stop laughing, and neither could he. She squealed with
delight as he nibbled her skin pretending to be hungry.
"You want?" Lana asked, "well you can have it." She said as she shoved the huge chocolate at his face, smearing the chocolate all over his face and mouth. Clark swallowed the little that got in his mouth and
continued to rub his chocolate covered mouth all over her blouse. She laughed and then screamed and ran a little further up the stairs , but Clark grabbed her leg and pulled her back down to him and kissed her
softly. The room was silent of their giggles and shouts, and the moment stopped for both of them as they fell deeply into a long and lingering kiss. Clark picked Lana up, still kissing her, and carrying her like a baby,
he brought her to their room and layed her on the bed. She stopped a moment and smiled that warm and gentle smile at Clark, and he thought he must be the luckiest man in the whole world. How could there be
anything better than this feeling that he was feeling right now. He thought he loved Lana in high school, but now, he could see that it was only just fore-shadowing of what became.
He couldn't take his eyes of her delicate figure as she proceded to unbutton his shirt, slow and seductive. He softly unzipped her dress. He layed her back down and turned out the light as he twisted the small knob
on the lamp.
"I'm so glad that it was you I chose to spend my life with," Lana whispered in Clark hear as they stared at each other in the dark, Clark hovering over her, just about to kiss her.
" I never really had a choice, I always knew you would be my one and only. You had me from the first day I ever met you. I knew I wanted to spent my life with you." Clark said sincere and true. She kissed him and then they let the darkness consume them.
"I love you Clark"
"I love you too."

Thank goodness! YOU FINALLY UPDATED! GEEZ! All this wait was worth it though, just to read that pure clana bliss. It was so beautiful and cute and funny! I absolutely loved it! That's the way the clana should alwyas be! great job on the update ClarksGirl! We missed ya around here:)

dun dun dun duhhh! Announcing the Next Chapter of Clarksgirl's Story!! lol.. Thanks for the comments and here's your chapter as promised ;)
Clark opened his eyes to the weak morning's light. He smiled as he smelled Lana body wash and he could hear the shower running in the bathroom as Lana was singing the song that Clark had sang her the night
before. This made Clark smile even more as he lay there soaking up this wonderful ambience. He was so happy. He had never felt this complete in his whole life.
" I feel like, like, Superman." Clark thought to himself laughing at how ironic that really was.
"Take my hand , take my whole life too. For I can't help, falling in love , with you." Lana sang turning the knob on the shower so that the water slow down, and finally silenced. Clark couldn't help but peek as he watch
her beautiful figure smoothly creep from the shower and grabbing a towel to wrap around herself. She took a comb for the mirror shelf and smoothed it through her hair. She slowly turned around.
"Clark, are you awake." Lana asked giggling. Clark shut his eyes tight and pretended to be asleep, just like a kid. Lana walked over to him observing her handsome husband as he lay there in the sheets. She ran her
fingers through his hair, and touched his soft face. Clark still lay there, acting like he was alseep.
"Well , since you're alsleep, you would mind if I did this." she said as she kissed his chest. Clark still didn't move. "Okay, and I suppose it wouldn't matter if I did this." she said kissing up and down his neck softly.
Clark smiled now, he couldn't hold it in. But, Lana pretended she didn't notice. "And if I did what I'm going to do next, it wouldn't matter at all." she said kissing his lips and hers there. Now Clark couldn't resist and he
kissed her back deeply and grinning the whole time, and so was she. They were just so blissfully happy, and Clark was enjoying every minute of it.
"I had a great time last night with you, feels like the first time I've actually got to spend some time with you in a while." Lana said lightly brushing her hand against his face. Clark didn't honestly know how long it had
been, for a while he had forgotten that he was in this new time. He wanted to tell Lana so badly now, surely she would understand, right? I mean she understood his secret and look where that got him. Maybe he
would tell her.
"Lana, I.." Clark began, but just like always, he was always getting interrupted when it mattered most, and at the moment, the phone rang.
"Oh, sorry hunnie, hold on a minute." Lana said moving away from him and went to pick up the phone. "Hello? Oh, Hi Lois... yeah I can't to start shopping." Lana said smiling ,"..yeah, you bet. So, what time do you
want to meet? Clark has the kids all day so, yeah, any time you want... okay, I'll see you then. Bye." Lana said as she hung up the phone from the very breif conversation.
"What was that about?" Clark asked.
"Oh, just Lois and our shopping thing today. You're babysitting remember?" Lana asked drying herself off and began putting on her clothes.
"Mom, I'm not a baby, so it's not babysitting. It's big-kid-sitting, remember?" said Brooke as she trotted in wearing her "Dora the Explorer" pajamas.
"Oh, you're right, I'm sorry, you are a big girl now." Lana said smiling at her little girl. She was so proud of her, Clark could see it in her eyes.
"Hi, Daddy." Brooke said as she climbed up on the bed and tackled Clark and gave him a little kiss on the cheek. Clark smiled and admired their beautiful child. There was so much of Lana in her, how could he not
love this child, even though he didn't really know her. She was sweet and gentle just as Lana was, with radiant and beautiful green eyes.
Lana walked out of the room a minute to go check on Andy.
"Dad, are you okay? You seem different." asked Brooke. Clark just looked at her a moment. Did she know it wasn't her real dad?
"Yeah, I'm fine, why?" Clark questioned back. She just looked at him for a minute, examining him, looking him up and down, and back and forth.
"I don't know what it is, but I'll figure it out sooner or later." she said as she got the bed and walk out of the room and into hers. Clark sat on his bed puzzled. How strange that Brooke would notice and not Lana.
Then Lana came back in the room and continued to get ready. Just then he heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." he said finally raising up from the bed and trotting downstairs. He reached for the door knob and twisted it, jerking the door quickly toward him.
"Lois? Why are you here?" Clark said alould, it was the first thing that came to his mind. Lois seemed startled by this and pulled him outside, shuting the door behind him.
"Clark, listen, I couldn't sleep last night, and I was thinking, I'm not asking you to leave Lana, but I think I'm in love with you." Lois said with her eyes starting to well up. Clark raised his eyebrows. Those words
pounded in his heart like a repeating nightmare.
"I told you Lois, I love my wife and family, they mean too much to me, I thought you understood." Clark said in an angry tone. Now Lois started to cry.
"I know but, you can still be with me too , I mean right? How will it hurt her if she doesn't know?" Lois asked obviously shooting blanks with Clark.
"Lois, I can't , and I said no." Clark said, but she forced a kiss, that made Clark very uncomfortable. He pushed her off and walked inside the house shutting the door leaving Lois outside.
"Oh god, what if Lana finds out what's happened between me and Lois? It will kill her. I would never hurt Lana like that, whoever I became, I will surely not make that mistake next time. Next time? How do I even know
there is a next time? What if this is really my life? I've got to find out what's happened, and fast." Clark screamed in his head. Was he really crazy? He felt that way.
"Lana," he called up the stairs, "Lois is here." He felt so guilty, and wondered if this was even his fault. He walked up the stairs and into the bedroom to find Lana straying her perfume.
"Oh, I didn't realize the time. Come on hun, you can walk me out." she said grabbing her purse with one and his with the other. She pulled him down the stairs and to the front door opening it. There was Lois still
standing, crying. "Hi, Lois. Is there something wrong?" Lana asked concerned. Lois turned around realizing their presence, and little startled.
"Oh, no , I'm fine, my allergies are just acting up, that's all." she said lying through her teeth, staring at Clark the whole time.
"Well, okay are you ready to go shop?" Lana asked anxious.
"Yeah, sure am."
"Okay, bye hunnie, call me if you need anything at all." Lana said putting on her jacket and then pulling Clark into a kiss. "and hey.." she said pulling his eyes back to her from Lois," I love you, thank you for a
wonderful night." She said kissing him again. Lois just watched in pain, cleaching her jaw together and crossing her arms.
"We should go." Lois said irratated. But Lana didn't notice, she was stuck on Clark's big blue eyes.
Okay, well I have to go, I love you, bye." Lana said stepping out and closing the door. Clark watched through the window as Lois and Lana walked to her car, Lois looking back every now and then at Clark through
the window on the door.
"What's the matter with Aunt Lois?" Brooke said tugging on his pant leg.
"Well Brooke, sometimes people want things they can't have, and they don't understand why." Clark said looking down at the little girl.
"Does Aunt Lois want something she can't have?" Brooke looked up at him.
"Yes, yes she does.

3rd! That was so good. But darn, why did Lois have to call just when Clark was about to open up to Lana? I hope Lois doesn't tell Lana anything. She'll be crushed - Clark can't really explain. And I really want to know how Clark ended up in the future or in this alternate Twilight Zone where he was cheating with Lois. PPMS!

Yea I don't like that she tried to tear Clark and Lana apart. I basically hate her for that. But I feel bad for her that she loves Clark and she can't have him. I know how she feels. That's probably why I feel bad for her.
im still wondering why is older clark cheating on Lana....

So. I just spent the past little bit giving this a marathon read, and my oh my was it ever good. I really enjoyed the first coupla chapters what with the mystery and all, very well written. And I think, like everyone else that Im dying to see where this is going. Im thinking I just got extremely spoiled looking at the length between the updates, but I just spose this means you have yet another eager fan waiting for those much loved updates.

Okay, well to be honest I had completely forgotten about this fic. But for that I do apologize! I have been writing some, so if you're still interested I've written some more. ANY TAKERS???
Clark walked into the kitchen, the little girl following close behind him.
"I'm hungry, Dad." Brooke said as she climbed up into a chair sitting down at the table looking up at him with her big green eyes, like Lana's.
"Well, what would you like for breakfast, Brooke?" He asked resting his chin and his hand and looking back at her.
"Daddy, why don't you call me Brookey anymore? You always call me that." She said looking at him very strangely. She looked him up and down. Clark didn't know what she was talking about, but he guessed that, her real dad, him as his future twisted self, had a little nickname for his daughter.
"Oh, well, Brooke hunnie, Daddy's just been really tired lately. I'm sorry, Brookey." he laughed smiling at her, but she didn't smile back. She just continued to give him that untrusting glare. "So, what do you want for breakfast?" He said trying to lighten her mood.
"You're not my Daddy," she paused, "are you?" she asked feeling nervous and shrinking in her chair.
"What?" Clark asked. "What do mean? Of course I'm Daddy." Clark said so he didn't scare the little girl. "What would make you say that?" He asked worried now.
"Okay, then if you're my Daddy then what my middle name?" she asked giving him a grin that said he was about to be defeated.
"Well, it's... uhhh.. it's.... La-" he started. He scratched his head searching the room for the answer to the little girl's question. Suddenly, like a sign from god, he saw a baby picture of Brooke with "Brooke Mariah" engraved into a silver picture frame. Clark smirked and then answered his whitty little girl. "I'll do you one better. You're full name is Brooke Mariah Kent." Clark smiled from ear to ear, realizing he had just outsmarted a 4 year old.
"Okay, well what's Andy middle name then?"
"Uhhh...?" Clark said searching the room again, praying that there would be another clue. "I can't remember right now, but I do know! I helped name him for crying out loud!" Clark said trying to cover up.
" I knew it! You're not my Dad! You're just some guy that looks like my Dad!" She got up from the table and started running out of the room.
" Brooke wait!" Clark up up and grabbed her hand and pulled her back. "Okay, I'm not your Dad, well, not really. But, I can explain," he said as she stopped pulling away and came closer.
"Okay," she said, "I'm listening."
