Love at First Sight

Summary: Clark never met Lana until college at Met U. They are going to be roomates, but they don't know each other. So something unexpected happens.

A tall, dark, hansome young man is walking through the doors of Met U with two boxes in his hands. This man's name is Clark Kent. Clark is going to college and now playing for the Metropolis Sharks.

HEY CLARK! said a familiar voice.

Clark turned around to find Chloe.

Hey Chloe!

Chloe: So how are you doing with moving in with your dorm?

Clark: Well actually I haven't even got to my dorm.

Chloe: Speed it up... Come on I know your faster... and thats for a fact.

Clark: Chloe!

Chloe: Come on I want you to meet a friend of mine. I think she has the same dorm as you. Room 14?

Clark: Yup.

Chloe: I think you might like her.

Clark: Just like you said with your cousin Lois?

Chloe: Oh don't worry I think you'll like this one.

So then they both walked over to room 14 and entered, but nobody was there.

Chloe: I guess she hasn't arrived yet.

Clark: Well okay while we're waiting you wanna give me a hand with my stuff?

Chloe: What do you need help with? Your super strong!

Clark: Chloe! Shhh!

Chloe: Sorry.

Chloe and Clark walk out the door and find someone behind a stack of boxes about to drop them but before this person could Clark quickly caught the boxes.

"Thanks" the person behind th box said.

Clark: Uh... no problem, you should be carrying these boxes by yourself you could really get hurt.

Chloe recognized the person's voice.

Chloe: Lana?

Then the person peeked to the side of the boxes.

Lana: Chloe!

Chloe: Hey Lana! How are you?

Lana: Great!

Chloe: Well here let me help you with those.

Clark didn't pay much attention.

Chloe then picked up a box and all three of them went to room 14 and they put all the boxes down and Chloe introduced Clark to Lana.

Chloe: Well Clark, This is Lana Lang, the friend I was telling you about.

When Clark finally looked at Lana, he was mesmerized by her beauty and when Lana looked up to shake his hand she was stunned by his beautiful ocean blue eyes.

"Hi... uhhh... I'm Clark Kent." Clark said snapping out of his trance and putting a hand out.

"Lana Lang... nice to uh... meet you." Lana said also snapping out of her trance.

They shook hands with smiles on there faces and looking in each others eyes.

Chloe had a huge smile on her face and she was looking at them back and forth like it was her plan to bring them together.

"Well okay I introduced you two, how about we go get a cup of coffee after you two finish unpacking? get to know each other?" Chloe interrupted

Then they broke the handshake.

Lana: Yea that will be great.

Chloe: Clark?

Clark: Yea I'm up for it.

Chloe: Okay I'll come back here in about half in hour?

Clark: yea.

Lana: See ya Chloe.

Before Chloe left she elbowed Clark and whispered "You like her"and she left.

Clark: Uhmmm... So I'm done bring my stuff here..Do you need help with yours?

Lana: Uh.. Yea that will be great. Follow me.

Then Clark followed Lana out the door to her car.

"Wow! she is breath taking" Clark thought to himself.

"Wow he is so nice yet so cute" Lana thought to herself.

So then Clark helped Lana brought some boxes in and after they finished unpacking they sat down waiting for Chloe.

Chloe being so sneaky decided to come a little late.

Clark and Lana sat on the couch very far away from each other in silence. Until Lana broke the silence.

" I wonder what happened to Chloe," Lana said.

"I'm sure she'll make it." Clark replied

Then finally Chloe came in hoping to find them having a conversation but only found two people in silence.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything" Chloe joked.

"Very funny... so should we get going or what?" Clark said looking at Lana and then at Chloe.

Lana: Yea let's go.

So the three of them went to the parking lot.

Chloe: So what car our we taking?

Lana: Lets take my car.

Chloe: Alrighty then.

Then when they got to the car Clark was about to open the back seat door until Chloe shoved him up to the passenger seat.

Clark: Chloe!

Chloe: What?

Then she jumped in the back seat and moved to the middle seat to watch Clark and Lana. She had another huge smile on her face.

Clark then nervously opened the passenger seat.

Don't you want to sit in the front Chloe? Lana asked looking at Chloe wierdly and trying not to sound rude.

"Uhmm.. You know I'm comfortable here. Plus Clark does have long legs." Chloe said giving her back a weird look.

Clark was very confused of where he was going to sit..

Chloe: Have a seat Clark so we can get going.

So Clark sat in the front and it was a very quiet ride to the cafe.

They soon arrived at the cafe.

Chloe found a table that had two chairs on one side and one on the other and Chloe quickly ran to the one chair that was on one side.

"Have a seat," Chloe said with a grin

Clark and Lana pulled out the chair and secretly moved it farther from each other. The two of them were very uncomfortable.

Clark: So what do you two want? It's on me.

Chloe: I'll have a non-fat mocha latte.

Clark: Lana?

"Huh? Oh.. uh... I'll have a non fat caramel cappuccino." Lana said snapping out of looking at Clark when he wasn't looking.

Clark: Okay coming right up.

Then when Clark went to order the drinks Chloe finally said something.

"What was that?" Choe asked lifting an eyebrow.

What are you talking about? Lana said

"You think I didn't see the way you looked at him?

Lana: Thats ridiculous!

Chloe: Oh really? Then the hanshake and the staring deeply into each other's eyes and looking at him up and down isn't nothing?

Lana: I-

Then Clark came in.

"Hey well here's your non fat caramel cappuccino Lana and here is your non fat mocha latte Chloe.

Lana: Thank you Clark.

Chloe: Thanks Clark.

So it was a quiet moment. Three of them sipping there drinks once in a while.

Chloe: So Lana, did you know that Clark plays for the Metropolis Sharks?

Lana: Really? Thats pretty cool.

Clark: Oh, its nothing really.

Chloe: Nothing? You get anything you want when your in that team! They even get there own escalades!

Clark then kicked Chloe under the table.

Chloe: Hey! I mean Lana did you find anybody special thats close by yet?

Then Lana kicked Chloe under the table.

Chloe: Hey! I mean uh... I'm going to get a muffin!

Chloe got up and limped over to the counter.

Clark: So.. uh.. I hear your from Smallville..

Lana: Yea I am are you from there too?

Clark: Yea. I am.

Lana! Chloe said motioning her to come to her.

Lana then got up and went to Chloe.

So do you want a muffin? Chloe asked laughing

Lana: Shut up!

Chloe: Lana do something!

Lana: What?

Chloe: Don't play dumb! I know you like Clark!

Lana: I do not!

Chloe: Oh god...

So then the both of them walked back to the table and when Lana was about 2 feet away from Clark, Chloe purposely tripped Lana so that Clark could catch her fall..... and he did.

Chloe then smiled.

Nice catch Clark... Chloe said winking at him.

Clark: Are you okay?

Lana: Yes, now that you've catched me...

Chloe giggled.

Lana couldn't believe what she said and quickly got up and sat down. Both Clark and Lana started taking interest in there drinks while Chloe was still giggling until both of them kick her.

Chloe: OW!!!

Chloe couldn't take it anymore so she kicked them both back.

Chloe: Maybe you TWO should get to know each other more.

Lana made a funny noise while Clark glared at Chloe while she was sipping her latte.

Clark: So how long did you know Chloe?

Lana: Ever since high school, how long did you know her?

Clark: We grew up together ever since we were five.

Lana: Wow so you two are close.

Chloe: Yea, he's like a big brother I never had.

Clark: Yes, but I don't talk as much as she does.

Chloe then kicks Clark as hard she can but ends up hurting her self.

Lana: Yea.. Chloe can be quite the talker once you get her chatted up.

Lana then kicks Chloe.

Chloe: OW! What was that for?

Lana: What was what?

Chloe squinted her eyes.

Clark: So is everybody done?

Chloe: Yea I'm done. Lana?

Lana: Yea I'm done.

So then they all walked out. Except that Chloe was limping on both legs so she was walking like a penguin and Lana went out limping on one leg, while Clark just walked regularly and giggling very quietly so that the two wouldn't hear him.

Clark to Lana: Uhmm.. you want me to drive? cause it seems like your leg is pretty sore.

Lana's eyes widened.

Lana: Uh... I...

"Yea that would be great Clark." Chloe interrupted.

Clark: Uh... okay.. is that okay Lana?

Lana: Uhm... yea sure....

So Clark drove to the dorms.


Chloe still limping went to her dorm and Lana and Clark went to theres. Clark opened the door for limping Lana and went in after she did.

Clark: Uhmm... Maybe you should get some ice for that.

Lana: Uh... yea that would be a good idea.

Clark went to the freezer and got out a frozen package of corn. When he handed it to her, Lana's hand touched his and they caught each other's eyes. Lana smiled and Clark smiled back. But the smile slowly faded away as they slowly pulled away turning away from each other hiding there bright redness of there cheeks.

Lana: Uhmm..... Thanks.

Clark: No problem

Lana sat down on the couch and put her leg up on the table.

Clark: Uh... Chloe's got some kick doesn't she?

Lana: Like an iron.

"Like an iron? What the world was I thinking?"

"Chloe's got some kick?" Nice job Kent.


Clark: So... which room would you like to take?

Lana: uh... how about we go take a look?

Clark: Uhm... Sure.

Lana had a hard time getting up and that's when Clark helped her up. After they looked at the rooms Lana decided to get the room on the left and Clark got the room where he could see the sunset.

The Next Day...

Clark was awoken by the fresh smell of coffee in the morning. So he went outside with no shirt and a pair of pajamas, but Clark didn't notice. So when Clark came out to get a cup of coffee, Lana was very stunned.

"Is there something wrong?" Clark asked pouring a cup of coffee.

Lana was speechless. She didn't know what to say, instead she just stared at his muscle bare chest.

"Am I dreaming or what? He's hot!

"Lana?" Clark asked again.

Lana: I.. I.. uh....

Then Clark noticed that he had no shirt on.

"Oh crap!" he thought to himself.

Clark ran into his room and quickly put a shirt on and came out.

Clark: Sorry.

It's okay..... she said smiling.

Clark returned the smile.

Lana: Chloe called, she said to meet her at Joe's Pizza for lunch.

Clark: What time?

Lana: In 15 minutes.

Clark: Well I'll go get ready, do you need to use the bathroom?

Lana: No I'm done with it.

Clark: Okay.

So then Clark got ready and got to Joe's Pizza. But when they got there Chloe wasn't there yet. So they waited there for fifteen minutes and decided to call.

Clark: Chloe where are you?

Chloe: I got caught up in something I won't be able to make it.

Clark: Is that that the truth or are you just doing it on purpose?

Chloe: Dam. You caught me. anyways have fun bye.

Clark: Chloe!

Lana: What happened?

Clark: Uh... Chloe got caught up in something, she can't make it.

Lana: Oh.

Clark: Uh... so I guess we'll go back to the dorm?

Lana: Hold on. Just because Chloe couldn't make it doesn't mean we can't go together.

Clark eyes widened and Lana couldn't believe what she said.

Clark: Uh.. .yea sure... my treat.

Lana: No this time its mine, your treated for coffee.

So they both went in for pizza and came out laughing together.

Lana: Chloe really did that?

Clark: Yes, she did.

Lana: I can't believe that she actually smashed ice cream in a guys face for being so rude.

Clark: Well, let's hope we dont' strike that cord.

Lana laughed.

Then they went back to the dorm.

Lana: Well I had fun, did you?

Clark: Yes , I did.

They both sat down on the couch few inches away from each other.

Clark: So...

Lana nodded her head.

Clark: Do you want to come and see the sunset from my room?

Lana: I don't

Clark: Don't worry I won't try anything.

Lana: Sure.

So they both went into Clark's room.

Lana: Wow.

Clark: Yep pretty cool.

Lana: What do you think?

"I think its the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." Clark said turning to Lana.

Lana blushed.

After they watched the sunset they went to bed.

Lana couldn't sleep because she was thinking of Clark. She was tossing and turning through the trying to get Clark out of her head. When she finally got him out of her head and found a comfortable position and was about to fall asleep. She heard Clark yelling.

Clark: All the people I love and care about are here!

Jor-El: So be it! you and the ones you care about will pay the price!

*Clark then sees everyone around him disappearing.*


Lana got up and went into Clark's room and saw him yelling "NO" over and over again and moving wildly.

Lana: Clark?

Then suddenly Clark stopped yelling and moving wildly and woke up sweating heavily. Just the sound of Lana's voice made him stop.

Clark: Lana?

Lana: Clark... Are you okay? I heard you screaming and-

Clark: It's nothing.. really...


Lana: It must have been something because your were moving very unruly.

"It's nothing really Lana, you can go back to bed" Clark said getting out of bed and walking towards the bathroom.

Lana: Clark, you know I'm your friend and you can tell me anything right?

Clark: Yea, I know that..... he whispered his last word "now"

Clark splashed his face with water.

Lana: So you want to tell me what happened or what?

Clark: Lana, just go back to sleep... forget about it.

Lana: You obviously don't know me Clark, because I never let things go especially when it has to do with my friends.

"Well in that case I'm from distant planet called Krypton" Clark thought to himself.


Clark: I appreciate your concern Lana but I'm fine really.

Lana gave him a worried look.

When Clark was about to exit the bathroom Lana stood in front of him.

Lana: I don't believe you. So I am going to stand in front of this door until you tell me what's up.

" Geez.... I'm not going to get out of this one.... unless...."

Clark got up closer to Lana and looked her in the eye...."Her beautiful hazel eyes... her cute little nose.... Snap out of it!"

Do you really want to know?

Lana got lost in is ocean blue eyes.

"Yes....I uh...I do..." Lana managed to get out.

" Oh I could just throw you down and kiss you" Lana thought to herself.

Clark: Well its not that simple, so if you can please move.....

Lana decided to give in without any thought because she had the urge to just kiss him

"Thank you" Clark said politely.

Lana: Do you always do that?

Clark: Do what?

Lana walked up to Clark.

" People get mad at you and you are as calm as a bird."

Clark didn't know how to answer that because he really didn't know. Or did he? Maybe because it was Lana


Clark: Well because its... you...

Then he quickly walked back to his room and closed the door.

Lana was lost in thought as she made her way back to her room and shut the door.

Morning after...


Clark and Lana went to there classes, and happened to have 4 classes together. Thanks to a certain someone who also has those 4 classes with Clark and Lana........ Chloe.


Every class they went to Chloe would always sit one row behind Lana and Clark and both of them would sit in the same row but like 10 people away from each other. But every so often they would play there little game of Peek and Look Away. Chloe noticed this and thought it was cute and smiled about it. So when ever Clark or Lana would ask her why she's so happy she would respond " I think you know," and wink then leave them deep in thought.

Then over the months Clark and Lana became closer and Chloe became more cheerful about it and thinking that her days of urging them to make a move on each other were beginning to pay off but she had to give them a kick here or there..... and literly a kick here or there. Everytime all three of them go inside a cafe one person would always come out limping one way or another.... except for a giggling Clark Kent of course.

Then one night something special happened.

Lana: Okay, Clark if you have [ (w X 15)] X b ] when b= 10 and w is 10 what do you have?

Clark: 1500?

Lana: Yea thats the answer! great!

Clark: Oh gosh am I pooped.

Lana laughed: So am I.

Clark: Thanks for helping me Lana.

Lana: Well I'm always here to help.

Clark: yea....

Lana moved closer to Clark.

Lana: yea...

Clark: So what can I do to repay you back?

Lana: Just buy me a cup of coffee.

Clark moved closer.....

" No problem just don't kick me"

Lana: Well then if I can't kick you then I'll just

Then Lana kissed Clark very passionately like she's been wanting to do that all night. Clark kissed her back and they shared and passionate kiss. Then Lana pulled away.

"kiss you." Lana said finishing her sentence.


"I would take a kiss then a kick any day of the week.....

Lana then pulled him in for another kiss for about a minute and then Clark pulled away.

So does this mean that I could ask you out on a date? because I really don't-

Lana then kissed him so that he could just shut up.

So they sat there on the couch making out and then they eventually fell asleep in each other's arms.

Lana woke up the next morning to find Clark asleep and herself in his arms. She was well rested after what happened last night.

Lana: I love this man.

She cuddled up to him even more. She knew she was in love because she had that feeling in her heart that it was meant to be.

Clark then woke up.

Lana: Hey sleepyhead.

Clark: Good morning beautiful.

Lana looked at the clock on the wall.

Lana: WE have to get to class.

Clark: Do we have to.... Lets just be sick for a day.

Lana: Clark, I don't want to either but we have to.

Clark: Well I'm not letting go.

" Clark." Lana said looking up at him with a smile that made Clark let go.

Clark: Wait.

He then pulled Lana in for a kiss.

Then they changed and they were out the door holding hands.

Chloe spotted them in the hall and was very pleased then she walked up to them.

Chloe: Glad to see my kicking got somewhere.

Clark and Lana: Hey Chloe.

Chloe: Well lets hope you don't upstage other couples.

Clark: What do you mean.

Chloe: Look at you two. Bright smiles, holding hands, and happiness. Who could asked for anything better than being with the one you love.

Lana: Love?

Chloe : Yea I can see it. It was meant to be. Why do you think I pushed.

Clark: When did you become the matchmaker.

Chloe: Ever since I saw a match.... Come on you two, lets get to class.

Now instead of sitting 10 people away they sat next to each other Clark and Lana sat next to each other holding hands and Chloe sat right behind them to guard them from anyone who would try to break them apart.

" You put them together, didn't you?

Chloe turned to a guy next to her that was really cute.

Chloe: Yes I did.. and you are-

" Jason Ackles" he said putting out a hand.

"Chloe Sullivan" she said shaking his hand.

Jason: Well Chloe I have to admit you do know how to put people together.

Chloe: Hehe... it was really nothing.

Jason: So Chloe, would you like to go get some coffee later?

Chloe: Uhhh....

"She would love to" Lana interrupting.

Jason: Great... so where's your dorm? I'll pick you up at 2:30.

Chloe: Uhh.....

" Room 20 " Clark interrupted.

The bell rings.

Jason: Great so I'll see at 2:30!

Chloe: bye... what just happened?

Lana: Jason Ackles is pick you up for coffee at-

" at 2:30 in your dorm." Clark interrupted finishing Lana's sentence.

Clark gave her a smile and Lana smiled back.
Then they left holding hands leaving Chloe still clueless.

Later that afternoon Chloe got picked up by Jason and they went out for coffee and had a great time.

As for Clark and Lana, they were going to watch movies and eat pizza at 7.

Clark picked the movies and pizza.

Lana: What movies did you get?

Clark: The Notebook, Ms. Congeniality 2, and Hitch.

Lana: Lets watch The Notebook.

Clark: Okay.

Lana put in the dvd in and stood in front of the couch.

Clark: What's wrong?

Lana: I don't know where to sit.

Clark: Sit anywhere.

Lana: Okay.

Then she sat really close to Clark that it made him really uncomfortable because he didn't know where to put his hands.

So throughout the movie he was always switching his hands positions. He put his hands on his lap, then he tried putting one hand on the arm rest but then he didn't know where to put his other hand. Lana noticed he was having trouble of where to put his hands and she thought it was cute.

"He's such a gentlemen" Lana thought to herself with a smile.

Then towards the end of the movie Clark got comfortable and put his hand on Lana's lap and one hand on the armrest. But Clark didn't notice but Lana did and she blushed. She tried not to smile but failed to. Clark was then wondering why she was smiling and then noticed that his hand on her lap.

" Oh crap!" Clark thought to himself.

He then slowly moved his hand off of Lana's lap but then Lana grabbed his hand and sat on his lap. Then she wrapped his hands around her waist.

Lana: Is that better?

Clark: Yea, thanks.

She then gave him a quick kiss and went back to the movie.
Then when the movie was over they cleaned up and went to bed. To there seperate rooms.

Lana then couldn't go to sleep because she was thinking about Clark and he couldn't go to sleep because he was thinking of her. They were fighting with themselves to whether or not they should go to each others rooms. Clark decided not to but Lana decided to go.

So she got out of bed and went into Clark's room.

Lana: Clark? are you awake?

Clark: Yea I am.

Lana: Sorry to bother you I couldn't sleep.

Clark: Yea I couldn't either.

Lana: I have an idea.. how about we switch rooms?

Clark's eyes widened.

Clark: Uhm.. Yea sure.. are you okay Lana?

Lana: Well its just that... uh... I sort of missed you....

Lana started to walk closer to Clark.

Clark: I missed you too.

Lana then sat close to Clark and started to kiss him. Then it heated up. Lana then was on top of Clark. Then with her left hand she placed in under Clark's shirt and started to lift it up.
Then Clark then started to slip her tank top off. Then stopped.

Clark: Are you sure you want to do this?

Lana: Not really.....

Clark: Lana, if you don't want to do something you don't have to.

Lana: I just want to be close to you.

Clark gave her a smile.

Clark: Don't worry I won't leave you.

Clark woke up Saturday morning with someone next to him. A beautfiul figure with long ravened hair. Clark was trying to get out of bed without waking Lana but he couldn't because Lana was on top of his arm. So he made sure Lana was still sleeping and supersped out of bed and quickly put a pillow next to her. Then went outside and made breakfast.

Lana was awoken by the sweet aroma of coffee.

She got out of bed and saw Clark cooking breafast. She walked behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist.


Lana: Good morning Chef Kent.

Clark: Good morning La princesse Lana Lang.

Lana: Vous parlez le français ?

Clark: Ah... yes I took a few classes.

Lana: Where did you learn to cook?

Clark: My mom.... do your parents still make you breakfast?

Lana was silent.

Clark: Lana?

Lana: My...parents..are uh... dead....

martha: Its in the barn.

Clark speeds to the barn picks up the key and runs to the cave.

Clark: This better be good Jor-El.

Then he inserts the key in the hole and then there's a flash of light.

Jor-El: Kal-El the day is coming.

Clark: What do you mean?

Jor-El: the day is coming when you will ful fill your destiny.

Clark: What destiny?

Jor-El: You will rule the world.

Clark: No I'm not gonna rule the world!

Jor-El: Kal-El you are coming to me!

Clark: NO!

Jor-El: If you are not here by sunset you and the ones you care about will suffer the consequences.

Then theres another flash of light and Clark is standing inside the caves. Then he superspeeds back to the farm.

Clark: Mom! Dad!

Jonathan: What is it son?

Martha: clark what happened?

Clark: Its Jor-El.. he said if I'm not in the caves by sunset today me and everyone I care about will suffer.

Martha: Jonathan!

Jonathan: Its okay Clark.. nothing is going to happen to you.

Clark: What do I do?!?!

Martha: Jonathan?

Jonathan: DOn't worry son we'll figure it out.

Martha: your father is right Clark everything will be fine. Just go one with your day.

Clark: I don't know if I can. What if Lana gets hurt?

Martha: Lana?

Clark: Lana Lang we met a month ago and now were a couple.

Martha: Oh... you didn't tell her did you?

Clark: no i didn't.... but her parents... they died during the meteor shower and its my fault!!

Jonathan: No Clark its not your fault you had no control over it.

Clark: I just have to go do something and I don't know when I'll be back.

Lana: Clark what's going on.

Clark: NO!

Jor-el: So be it.

Then another zap comes to Jonathan

Jonathan: AHHH!!! Clark don't go!! don't worry about me I'll be alright.

Clark: Let him go then I will leave.

Jor-el stops then Clark is sucked into the cave wall.

The robber turned around and saw a guy in a blue suit with a red cape and an "S" on his chest.


Robber: Superman!

The robber shot Superman but the bulllets just bounced off of
him.

Then superman hit the gun out of his hand and then hit the robber on the head. Then the robber fainted.

"Here you go ma'am" superman said giving the purse back to the lady.

Then superman took the robber and then flew up and dropped him in front of the police station.

Then hte police comes out and looks up.

Police: Thanks Superman!


Then Superman went into an alley and dressed into a suit and became Clark Kent.

Clark then ran to the Daily Planey where he works.

Chloe: Well it's about time Clark!

Clark: Sorry.

Chloe: We have to interview Bruce Wayne and his new fiancee.

Clark: Do you know who it is?

Chloe: No but I'm sure if we get to Wayne Enterprises on time we'll find out! now hurry up!

Chloe and Clark were the best reporters at the Daily Planet and were getting the scoop on the marriage of Bruce Wayne.

Bruce: Well I was in college and Lucy was my roomate. A friend of mine said that I would like her and low and behold we just hit it off. I was walking down the hall and she was holding boxes and she was about to drop one then I caught it on time. Not soon after that we fell in love.

*Clark made a weird noise.*

I thought I could avoid seeing her..... so I don't have to explain why I've walked out of her life and come back 4 years later...... I don't know what to do..

I can't tell her the truth.... she can't handle it... Chloe knows and she didn't talk to me for three days and finally she accepted me... but I can't.. if I tell Lana the truth I'll put her in danger...the FBI, Lionel Luthor, anybody who wants information about me.... Chloe almost got killed because she knew my secret... I can't put Lana in the position... I'll just leave her alone.... I just hope she'll find someone else because I'm not the guy for her.....

Clark: Hello?

Bruce: They've captured Lana and Lucy.

Lex: I wouldn't do that if I were you..

Batman: Let them go.. they don't have anything to do with this.

Lex: Oh they have everything to do with you and Superman.

Superman: What do you want?

Lex: Your help.

Batman: Your nuts if you think we are going to help you.

Lex: if you don't then these two people you care about will die.

Lex took out the remote device.

Lex: There are explosives under there chairs now if you don't do what I say I'll blow them into pieces

Superman: What is it that you want??

Lex: A chip.

Batman: A chip?

Lex: Yes a microchip, I need it to control my missiles.

Superman: Lex what are you planning?

Lex: Oh just destroying Smallville and Gotham City.... the heart of a superhero.

Superman: Fine.

Batman: What?!?!

Superman: We'll get you the chip.

Lex: Good, its at the Military Base 2 miles from here but I think you'll be able to get in and out in 2 minutes.

Superman: I'll be back...

Then Superman supersped to the military base and came back within two minutes.

Then there was a blur and the remote was gone.

Superman then supersped to the girls and untied them. But Lex caught Lana and dragged her outside. Then Lex's thugs came out.

Batman: Superman go me and Flash will take care of this.

Flash: What?!?!??!!

Then Superman went after Lex.

Lex: Take another step and I'll shoot her.

Superman: Let her go!

Lex: Not until she sees who you are.

Lana: what are you talking about?

Lex: You don't recognize him?

Lana took a closer look at him

Lana: Clark?

Lex: thats right... Clark Kent....... Now if you don't mind give me the chip!

Clark: Let her go first!

Lex threw her to the ground

Clark crumpled it to pieces.

Lex: Big mistake.

Lex pointed the gun to Lana and then Clark supersped and took the gun and threw Lex in the dumpsters. Then the police came.

Police: Superman where's Lex?

Superman: Over there.

Clark then picked Lana up and then ran into the warehouse to help Batman and Flash.

But when he got there every thug was already beaten.

Lucy to Batman: Thank you Batman

Batman: Your welcome Lucy

Lucy: How do you know my name?

Then he disappeared in the shadows and Lucy ran outside to see Lana.

Superman supersped away with Flash.

Lucy and Lana came back in.

Lucy: Where did they go?

Lana: I don't know but I think I know where my Superman is.

Chloe: what do you mean she can't fall in love with you?

Clark: It's my destiny to be alone.

Chloe: I don't understand.

Clark: Centuries ago.. two people fell in love. One by the name of Kal-El and one by the name of Isobel Marguerite Theroux. Kal-El was supposed to fulfill his destiny but fell in love.

Chloe: With Isobel?

Clark: Right. So for that he had to pay the consequences: stripped of his powers and Isobel's memory of Kal-El would be wiped.

Chloe: Just for falling in love?

Clark: It wasn't an ordinary love, he was kryptonian and she was human.

Chloe: So?

Clark: So when a Kryptonian accepts his destiny, he/she can't fall in love with a human.

Chloe: So before when you were in love there was no consequences because you hadn't embraced your destiny?

Clark: Yup.

Chloe: But don't you love her still? Right?

Clark: Yes I do.

Chloe: Then how come she still knows you?

Clark: Well because she didn't show her love to me.

Chloe: and the only way to do that is to say those three words right?

Clark: Exactly, and when she does her memory will be wiped and I will be stripped of my powers.

Chloe: Will you be wiped of your memories?

Clark: No I will remember everything, Lana will just forget ever meeting me and anything that involves me.

Chloe: What if she doesn't show her love to you, can you still be together?

Clark: No, because then my memory will be wiped of Lana and I will be stripped of my powers.

Chloe: So basically, when a Kryptonian accepts his destiny, there not allowed to fall in love?

Clark: Yup.

Chloe: Why?

Clark: Well because they thought humans would interrupt there destiny with love, and since Kryptonians didn't have emotions, they didn't believe in love or other emotions.

Chloe: What about your parents? Your biological of course.

Clark: Some how they developed emotions, I don't know how, but it had something to do with my mom. I still haven't figured it out.

Chloe: So how did they have babies without falling in love?

Clark: They may not have emotions but they did have a conscience and instincts.

Chloe: Like dogs?

Clark: Uh.... Yes.

Chloe: So there kids.... how did they survive without any comfort?

Clark: They depended on themselves and nobody else. So if they fell they picked themselves up. They depended on there conscience and instinct.

Chloe: So like there robots, when there conscience tells them who's right they do it?

Clark: Yup.

Chloe: What about you?

Clark: Since my parents had emotions they passed it on to me.

Chloe: Did you know about the consequences when accepting your destiny?

Clark: No, that I learned last minute.

Chloe: And you still went on with it?

Clark: Didn't have a choice, when I was trained and ready to go I couldn't turn back.

Chloe: You couldn't escape?

Clark: No, I couldn't.

Chloe: Why?

Clark: because he said that if I didn't go the world would destroy itself.

Chloe: So you didn't care about the consequences?

Clark: No, cause I thought I wouldn't run into Lana after what happened, I thought she'd move on by now.

Chloe: So what are you going to do?

Clark: Avoid her, if possible.

Chloe: You know you can't hide right?

Clark: I could try.

Chloe: If I know Lana, she won't give up on you.

Clark: Trust me Chloe If I had a choice in all of this we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

Chloe: Right.... But what if you can prove to Jor-El that Lana's love for you won't interrupt fulfilling your destiny but help it.

Clark: Even if I can, it can't change the rule.

Chloe: You mean its a rule??

Clark: Yup the King of Krypton made it.

Chloe: Why in the world would he do that?

Clark: Well according to Jor-El, he fell in love with a human and she broke his heart and then thats when he made the rule so that his people wouldn't go through the pain that he went through.

Chloe: Can we take the rule out?

Clark: Well I don't know I'll have to talk to Jor-El because The King of Krypton is the only one that can remove the rule and he isn't exactly alive.

Chloe: Well can't Jor-El talk to him?

Clark: I don't know... I'll have talk to him.

Chloe: If he can, prove to Jor-El and the King that love won't interrupt your destiny that it will help you.

Clark: Chloe its a long shot.

Chloe: Take the shot.

Clark: Why are you doing this?

Chloe: I didn't hurt my foot and take kicks for nothing if I didn't think that it you two were meant to be.

Clark: But still why me?

Chloe: Your like the younger brother I never had.

Clark: and your like the big sister I never had.

Chloe: I try... now go talk to Jor-El.

Clark: What about Lana? What are you going to tell her?

Chloe: Just worry about Jor-El I take care of Lana.

Clark: Okay I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Chloe: Good Luck.

Clark: I'm going to need it! Good Night.

Chloe: Good Night Clark.

Then Clark supersped to the Kent Farm and Chloe went back to her apartment.

Clark entered the house.

Martha: CLARK!

Clark: MOM!

*they hug*

Clark: Mom, where's dad?

Martha: He's feeding the cattle.

Clark: How is he after what happened?

Martha: Well he was in the hospital for a few days but nothing serious. He's great.

Clark: Thats good.

Martha: Yeah.... Clark are you hungry?

Clark: Well now that you mention I do miss your cooking.

Martha: Okay so I'll start on dinner.

Clark gave one last hug and went out to the cattle.

Jonathan: Clark!

Clark: DAD!

*They hug*

Clark: How are you doing dad?

Jonathan: I'm great, when did you get back?

Clark: Well a few months ago, I didn't get a chance to visit because I was sort of busy.

Jonathan: Doing what?

Clark: Saving the world.

Jonathan laughed.

Clark: I'm serious, I've been saving people.

Jonathan: Oh, well thats greaat son, I'm very proud of you.

Clark: Thanks dad.

Jonathan: Lets go inside and see what your mom is cooking.

*They start walking towards the house*

Martha: Dinner is ready.

*They all sit down and eat*

After they ate Clark told his parents about what he was doing and Martha was very amazed at how determined he was with this girl.

Martha: I'm going to have to see this Lana girl

Clark: Don't worry mom she won't take your place..... yet.

They all laughed.

Martha: Well you should get some rest if you are going to talk to Jor-El.

Clark: Okay, good night mom, dad.

Jonathan: Good night son.

Clark walks to his loft and layed down on the couch and fell asleep.

*Chloe's Apartment*

When Chloe got home she found Lana asleep on her couch.

Chloe then grabbed a blanket and put it over her.

" Your Prince is coming Lana" Chloe said with a smile.

*The Next Day*

The shine of the sun showed on Lana's face and she woke up.

Lana: Where am I?

"At my place" a voice came but Lana couldn't see who it was because her eyes were still adjusting.

Lana squinted and saw it was Chloe.

Chloe: Good morning Lana

Lana: Hey Chloe.. what happened?

Chloe: I don't know, when I came home you were asleep on my couch.

Lana: Oh Sorry.

Chloe: Its okay.

Lana: So what happened last night? with Clark?

Chloe: Well lets just say I knocked some sense into him.

Lana: What do you mean?

Chloe: What he's about to do right now is for you.

Lana: What?

Chloe: Oh, you'll see for yourself.

Lana got up off the couch.

" So what do you want to do today?" Chloe asked giving her a cup of coffee.

Lana: whats today?

Chloe: Its Tuesday.

Lana: Oh my god! today is the rehearsal dinner!

Chloe: Oh my god your right!

Lana: I have to meet Lucy and the mansion.

Chloe: Do you need a ride?

Lana: No I'm okay. I have to go.

Chloe: Okay what time is the dinner?

Lana: 7:30 don't be late and if you see Clark, ask him if he has his speech.

Chloe: Okay see you later.

Then Lana went out the door and into her car.

*Clark insterts the key into the hole*

Clark: Jor-El!!

Jor-El: Yes my son?

Clark: Do you know why I am here?

Jor-El: Yes I do, I know what is going on in your head.

Clark: So do we have a deal?

JOr-El: Yes, but I will only give you 4 days to prove to me that human love is not going to interrupt your destiny.

Clark: Okay, 4 days it is.

Jor-El: But, if you fail, the human will be wiped of her memory of you.

Clark: O- okay...

*Theres a flash of light*

Clark then superspeeds to the Daily Planet.

Chloe: Clark! How did it go?

Clark: Hey Chloe nice to see you too.

Chloe: So how did it go?

Clark: We got a deal.

Chloe: Great! Do you have your speech for the rehearsal dinner today?

Clark: Thats today??

Chloe: Yea! I'm guessing you didn't do it.

Clark: No.. I better get started.

So Clark sat at his desk and started working on his speech.

*The Rehersal Dinner*

DING.... DING.. DING...


Clark: Can I have everybody's attention please.

*Everybody turns there attention to him.*

Clark: Bruce and Lucy have a love that everyone in here wants and everybody should have. They have had there ups and downs but they worked through it because they love each other. No matter how hard it got they didn't give up on each other. That is what I call tough love. They would have sacrificed anything just to be with one another and now they are here, nothing holding them back to be with one another.

*Clark raises his glass*

Clark: To Bruce and Lucy.

Everybody: To Bruce and Lucy.

Bruce gives him a hug and Lucy kisses him on the cheek.

Lana hits her glass lightly and stands up.

Lana: May I have everybody's attention please?

*Everybody once again turns there attention*

Lana: I feel like it was only yesterday that my little sister took her first steps and now I look at her and she's all grown and getting married. I could have never been any happier for her. There love has touched us all and now we give them back our blessing. They keep each other close.

*Lana looks at Clark at another table*

Lana: Not a day goes by that they are not thinking about each other. They care and love each other and that has brought them to this.

*Raises her glass and about to tear.*

Lana: To Bruce and Lucy.

Everybody: Bruce and Lucy.

*They both get up*

Lucy: Thanks Lana

*gives her a hug*

Bruce then follows and gives her a hug.

Then Lana steps outside for some air.

Chloe: Clark go follow her.

Clark: she probably needs sometime alone.

Chloe: Clark why did you make that deal again?

Clark: because I love her?

Chloe: Yes now go!

Clark: okay okay..

Then Clark goes outside and sees Lana leaning on a post. He hears sniffs and sees a picture that Lana is holding with tears on it.

Then Clark hears her talking.

Lana: Why Clark? Why did you have to push me away? All I wanted was for you to be honest. So we could be together.

"Ehrrm..... Lana?" Clark said in almost a whisper.

Lana quicly puts the picture away wipes her tears away and turns to Clark.

Lana: Yea?

Clark: Are you okay?

Lana: Yeah, I'm *sniff* fine.

Clark: It doesn't seem like it... something tells me that those weren't tears of joy.

Lana: Why do you care?

*Then she turns away from him.*

Clark: because I- I care about you. Like you care about me.

*Hope in Lana's eyes*

Lana: I-

Clark: Lana, I know I've been protective lately, but it doesn't change the way I feel about you.

Lana turns to face Clark and a tear comes down her cheek.

Clark walks up to her and wipes it away. Lana closes her eyes when she feels his warm touch.

Lana then falls into his arms and brings him close and they are in a tight hug. Her arms around his neck and his arms around her waist.

Clark breaks the silence.

"Lana why were you crying?" Clark loosens up so that they are face to face.

Lana then reaches into her purse and pulls out a picture and shows it to Clark.

Then when he sees it he looks at Lana who has a tear coming down her cheek. He again wipes it away.

The picture shows them sitting on a couch with there faces touching and they are smiling. Lana had took the picture of them. The sun has shown at the perfect spot and brought out a radiant picture.

Lana: My sister is happy, my soon to be brother-in-law is happy, I just want to be happy too.

Clark: Well what makes you most happy?

Lana: You, here with me right now. Clark, I love you.

Then Clark started to touch himself making sure he still has his abilities. Then he looks at Lana.

Clark: Do you know me?

Lana: What? Clark what are you talking about?

Clark: Oh, good you know me. So its working.

Lana: Clark whats going on? What's working?

Clark: Do you trust me?

Lana: Yes, of course I do.

Clark: Okay Lana, I'll have to tell you later, we can't talk here during your sister's dinner. Its about them tonight not us.

Lana: Okay.

Then she gave him a reassuring smile.

As Clark holds her hand and leads her inside, Lana stops and pulls Clark into a kiss that he gladly returns.

Clark: I love you too.

They both smile and go inside.

*Somewhere in the middle of Smallville.*

A guy is in a truck driving when a naked man stands right in the middle of the street.

BEEP!!! BEEEP!!!!

BOOM!

The naked man grabs the truck and throws it miles away where it hits the parking lot of the place where the dinner is held.

*The Dinner*

Everybody hears the crash

Chloe to Clark: What was that?

Clark to Chloe: I don't know lets go check it out.

Then everybody goes outside and sees and truck that is flipped over.

Chloe to Clark: Theres someone in there.

Clark: I know.

Then Clark disappears and then Superman come flying in the air.

Lady: Its Superman!

Superman then flips the truck over and grabs the man out of the truck. Then Superman realizes the name of the truck "Smallville Produce."

Then Superman flies away with the man and brings him to the hospital.

Nurse: What happened Superman?

Superman: Car accident.

Then the nurse and doctors come out and bring him into a room and Superman flies away back to the truck. He then lifts it up and flies back to Smallville and sets the truck in the side of the street and notices a naked man.

Superman: Hey you! who are you?

Man: I am Nam-Ek of Krypton here to test Kal-El.

Then Superman quickly changes back into Clark Kent.

Clark: Well here I am, did Jor-El send you?

Nam-Ek: Yes he did, he wants me to put you through a series of test.

Clark: Bring it on.

Nam-Ek: So the game begins.

Then with one stomp and a snap Clark is in a place with blazing fires around him.

"Clark where are we?" a familiar voice came from beside him

Clark: Lana?

Lana: Clark whats going on?

Clark: We are in a test.

Lana: Test? what test?

Clark: Long story short, I made a deal with my biological father saying that our love is strong and it won't interfer with my destiny.

Lana: So he's putting us to the test?

Clark: Yup.

" Well lets do it" Lana said taking his hand.

Clark: Well first we have to see what's are first test.

Nam-Ek: So here are the rules.... there are no rules. But one catch. Both of you are human.

Clark: What?

Nam-Ek: Clark you do not have your abilities.... you are a mere mortal.

Clark: Fair enough, I mean if we want to be put to the test we have to give up somethings and be pushed to the limit.

Nam-Ek: Precisely, you catch on fast. This test will not only test your love but reveal deep dark secrets and fears. It will also help realize things about yourself.

Clark: Now thats something I really need... realization... So what do we do first?

Nam-Ek: Well theres no we, but there is a you... you see, neither of you will help each other until the last round.

Clark: Thats means that Lana will be fighting her battles?

Nam-Ek: Yes.

Clark: But-

"Clark I can take care of myself" Lana interrupted.

Clark: Okay, I trust you.

Nam-Ek: Okay now your first test.

Again Nam-Ek snaps his fingers and then Clark is standing in a dungeon and Lana is in a cage.

Nam-Ek: Now you must fight your enemies.

Clark: Enemies?

Then suddenly one figure comes out.

Clark: Lex?

Lex: Hey Clark.

*Lana's Cage*

Nam-Ek: Lana you must fight you enemy.

Lana: But I don't have any enemies.

Nam-Ek: No but you do have a fear that a certain friend might take Clark away from you. Even if she helped you find Clark.

Lana knew Nam-Ek was right.

Then a figure comes out from the shadows.

"Hey Lana" the figure said.

Lana: Chloe....

Then Chloe throws a right at Lana that causes her lip to bleed. Lana then throws a straight punch into Chloe's face and she falls. Chloe then pulls her hair and sweeps her foot so that Lana trips.

Meanwhile....

Clark threw the first punch and Lex socked him in the ribs. Clark fights the pain throws another punch and then kicks him. He then grabs Lex's head and pulls it down to his knee. Lex then tackles him to the wall.

Chloe then throws Lana into the wall.

" You see this? you see this?" Lana is holding up her right hand in a fist.

Chloe: Yes.

When Chloe is paying attention to Lana's right hand, Lana socks Chloe with her left. Chloe then tackles Lana to the wall and then Lana kicks her in the stomach and throws her into the wall.

Meanwhile...

Lex is throwing punches at Clark and he is getting weak. Clark is in the corner and bleeding with his hand on his ribs.


"Come on get up! You can do it ! Come on get up Clark! Do it for Lana! Lana Lana! Clark is thinking.

Then he finds the strength to get up and then jumps Lex. Then one last throw to the wall Lex is down. Then Clark slides down in the corner his hand still on his ribs.

Clark: I didn't realize how much my abilites help me till now.

Then Clark hears Lana and when he's about to run to her Nam-Ek stops him.

Nam-Ek: She fights her own battles.

*In the cage*

Chloe is kicking Lana while she is on the ground. Lana finally catches her foot and with all her strength left she throws Chloe into the wall and Chloe is down.

Lana: Did you see that coming?

Nam-Ek then gets out of the way and Clark rushes to open the cage.

The hug each other.

Lana: Are you okay?

Clark: Yea I'm fine are you okay?

Lana: I feel like I got my ass kicked.

Clark: join the club.

Nam-Ek: You have past the first test.. Fighting your own battles and that revealed your trust and believing in one another. You may proceed to test 2 throught that gate.

Then a gate opens and Clark and Lana enter it for round two.

Then Clark and Lana found themselves in another dungeon. It was pitch black.

Lana: Clark where are you?

Clark: Lana, I'm here.... Nam-Ek whats going on?

Lana: where?

Nam-Ek: In this round you must depend on your senses. But sight will be knocked out.

Clark: A fight in the dark.

Lana: Okay Clark if I hit you.... I'm sorry.

Clark: If I hit you I'm sooooo sorry.

Nam-Ek: There will be Ninjas coming at you from all angles and you must fight them using 4 senses. Instead of depending on each other, you must depend on your senses. BEGIN!

Clark then feels a cold wind pass by him and Lana gets punched in the stomach, she punches somewhere but nothing there. Clark gets kicked and falls down. Lana trips over Clark and falls.

Lana: Clark how are we going to fight what we can't see?

Clark: Depend on out senses.

Lana then gets up closes her eyes and imagines an empty room. Then when she feels a wind of air....

BAM!

Lana punches one of the ninjas. Clark then depends on his ears and listens for footsteps. Clark hears one behind him turns around and punches a ninja. Then its a quiet room again. Clark hears no footsteps and Lana feels no wind.

Clark: They know what we're doing.

Lana: No kidding.

Clark: I got it..... Lana go into a corner.

Lana: Why?

Clark: Nam-Ek said that they come from all angles, but if we back up into a corner the only angle they could come at us is in front of our faces.

Lana: Got it.

Then they both found a corner, a ninja was in front of Lana's face but didn't know. Until Lana smelled a remedy that was in front of her and then she kicked the ninja. Clark also had smelled a remedy in front of him and punched a ninja.

So now they were cornered but had an advantage. So when Clark or Lana smelled the remedy they would strike. Then eventually the ninjas were gone and the lights came up.

Nam-Ek: Congradulations you have passed test 2. You will now proceed to test 3.

Clark: Exactly how many tests are there?

Nam-Ek: 4.

Clark: Okay.

With a snap of his fingers Lana was standing on a platform and Clark was tied up with meteor rocks surrounding him but it didn't make him weak.

Lana: CLARK!

Nam-Ek: In this test Lana, you must save Clark with in 5 minutes.

Lana saw that there were no obstacles blocking her way.

Lana: Piece of cake.

Nam-Ek: Look again.

When Lana looked again there was fire blowing from the side, arrows flying and Clark was on the other side of the platform that she was on. She would have to jump to get to Clark.

Lana: Dammit!

Lana started took off her jacket and swung it threw the fire.... it was an illusion because her jacket didn't catch fire. So she went through it. Next was the flying arrows. There were four rows of arrows shooting right from left. She again swung her jacket in the first row and an arrow went through it.

Lana: AH!

She took a deep breath and ran through it but got hit by an arrow on her leg.

Lana: AHH!

Clark: LANA!

Nam-Ek: You may give up Lana, but Clark will die.

Then there was a door beside her.

Lana closed her eyes and pulled out the arrow.


Lana: AHHH!

Clark: Lana get out of here! Get out! don't worry about me.

Lana hesistated.

Nam-Ek: You have 3 minutes left.

Clark: GET OUT OF HERE LANA!

Lana took a deep breath and ran through the all the arrows and was luck enough to only get hit by one more arrow in the arm.

Lana: It just had to be arrows!

Again she took a deep breath and pulled it out.

Lana: AHHHH!!!!

Nam-Ek: This is your last chance Lana go through the door and leave Clark or proceed to save him.

Clark: LANA! IF YOU LOVE ME THEN YOU'LL GO THROUGH THE DOOR!!!!

Lana: Well I guess I don't!

The gap between her a Clark was about 3 feet apart.

Clark: DAMMIT LANA GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE!

Clark sighed.

Lana was ready to take the leap of faith until she ralized that it could be a illusion.

Lana: Nam-Ek! is this an illusion?

Nam-Ek: That is for me to know and for you to find out.

Lana then threw her jacket out into the gap but nothing happened. The jacket didn't fall in landed on something. Then the gap started to become visible to fill the gap.

Lana: Its an illusion.

Nam-Ek: 25 seconds.

Lana then ran across the filled gap and untied Clark.

Nam-Ek: TIME! You have passed.

Clark and Lana gave each other a hug and then Lana kissed him.

Nam-Ek: You are now ready for the last round.

With a snap of his fingers Lana and Clark were in a dungeon, but this time there was a wall with chains hanging from it and a wall of spikes in front of it.


Nam-Ek: Lets review.... In these tests you have learned not to depend on each other and now lets see what you willing to give up for one another.

Clark: Why are these test so violent?

Nam-Ek: You will find out soon enough.

Lana to Nam-Ek: What do you mean what we are willing to give up for on another?

Clark then gives a gentle kiss.

Then Clark walked over to the wall and Nam-Ek chained him up.

Lana: CLARK!

Tears were sliding down Lana's and Clark's cheeks.

Nam-Ek: Are you ready?

Nam-Ek then took a step back.

Nam-ek to Lana: He must really love you to do this.

Then with a snap of a his fingers the spikes started coming at him.. fast.... Lana couldn't watch him die so she did what he would have done for her.........

She ran in front of Clark like you'd think she had superspeed and everything went black.

Then Lana wound up sitting on a couch in here apartment.

Lana: What happened?

Then she remember what Clark was doing.

Lana: Clark? Clark!

She was starting to cry.

Then she picked up the phone and called his apartment.... but got the answering machine.

Lana: Clark!?

Then she heard a moaning in the kitchen.

"Clark!" she said running toward the kitchen.


Lana then found Clark laying on the floor of the kitchen.


Lana: CLARK!!!!!!

Clark lifted his head and saw Lana.

Clark: Lana?

Lana then went to him and kneeled down and saw that he was bleeding by his rear stomach.


Lana: Clark? what happened to you?

Clark: When you jumped in front of me I was transferred to my father, and he struck me with lighting because you jumped in front of me.

Lana: Oh my god this is my fault.

Clark: No he also did it because I was sacraficing myself.

Lana: What kind of father do you have?

Clark: Kryptonian.

Lana then looked for a cloth to stop the bleeding.

Clark: He also said that this wound would only heal like a human.

Clark's eyes started to close.

Lana: Clark! we have to get you to a hosptial.

Clark: No I'm... fine... really...

Lana: I don't believe that come on.

He then grabbed her arm.

Clark: Lana I'm fine, I can lay here on the floor.

Lana: We have to get you to a hospital Clark!

Clark: If you bring me to the hospital they will ask to many questions, run tests and figure out that I'm not normal.

Lana: I can't just sit here a let you suffer.

Clark: Well you have to.

Lana then postitioned herself so that she could put Clark's head on her lap and she leaned on the cabinet. She opened one of the cabinets and treated the wound.

Lana started to cry.

Clark: Lana don't cry, I can't stand the pain to see you cry.

She started to wipe her tears away.

Clark started to close his eyes again.

Lana: Clark stay with me! don't leave me.

Clark: I'll never leave.

Lana and Clark sat there through the night and Lana eventually fell asleep.

"I object" came a voice from the crowd.

Clark then let go of Lana's hands as Lana was on the verge of tears.

Chloe then ran up to Clark and kissed him right in front of Lana.

Clark: Sorry Lana.

Lana is now crying as Chloe and Clark run off.

Lana then awoke with a jerk breathing heavily.

Lana: It was just a dream..

Then she saw Clark eyes closed.

Lana: Clark?!?

He didn't move.

"Clark!?!?! Clark!?!?!" Lana said while shaking him.

He slowly opened his eyes.

Clark: I told you I'm not leaving.

Lana let out a relieved sigh.

Clark: We have to get ready for the wedding.

He tried to get up but ended up falling back down.

Lana: The Wedding!

Clark then got up again and succeeded at it.

Lana: But your wound.

Clark: I'll be okay, go get ready for the wedding.

Lana: How are you going to change with that wound.

Clark: I'll find a way.

Lana: No I'm coming home with you.

Clark: But-

Lana: No buts I'm helping you whether you like or not.

Lana: Come on lets go take my car.

Clark: Well actually I have a better way of getting there.

Lana: Is Superman going to fly us there?

Clark: Well not fly but-

Then Clark picked up Lana with one arm and before she knew it they were at Clark's apartment.

Clark: Yea I also have other abilities... but I'm not freaking you out am I?

Lana: No your not because you use these abilities for good not bad.

Clark: But-

Lana: I don't care where your from or what you are. I just love you for who you are.

Clark: Uh-

Lana: Go get dressed Superman.

"you love me?" Clark said walking backwards to his room.

Lana: Yes now go before we're late.

Clark went into his room and took out his tux that Chloe picked up for him.

When he took of his shirt Lana came in.

Lana: Do you need-

She saw Clark's bare chest and smiled

Clark: Help? uh... yes sure.

Lana then walked over and helped Clark put on his tuxedo. Before you knew Clark was up against a wall being kissed by Lana very passionately.

Clark: WOW! what was that for?

Lana: I wanted to do that ever since I saw.... I came in to this room.

Clark: I must really have something over you.

Lana: Yes you do.

Giving one more peck on the lips Clark and Lana were now at Lana's apartment. After Lana got dressed they both went to the wedding driving in Lana's car.

Lana and Clark came down the isle, then after came Chloe and Bruce's brother, and then came the bride.

Reverrend: Do you Lucy Lang take Bruce Wayne to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold til death do you part?

The suddenly three people burst through the doors.

"I object!"

it was Lex Luthor.

Bruce: Aren't you supposed to be in jail?

Lex: Your right I should but my father bailed me out.

In the middle of that conversation Clark had disappeared.

Bruce: What do you want?

Lex: Oh I just wanted to marry the Lang Sisters.

Then Lex pointed a gun and both of them.

Lex: Start reverrend!

Clark was having a hard time taking out his tuxedo. But he finally got it off and flew back to the wedding.

Lex: yea yeah yeah skip all that.

Reverrend: Do you Lex take thee Lana and Lucy to be your lawfully wedded wives?

Lex: Yep.

Reverrend: And do you Lucy and Lana take Lex to be your husband?

*they were silent*

Lex: Say it!

*Lex pionted the gun at both of them*

Then there was a crash from the roof... it was superman.

Superman: I object!

Lex: Superman, its so nice to see you.

Superman: Lex let them go!

Lex: Nope, not until i marry them.

Lucy and Lana: Go to hell!

Then Lex smacked Lana.

" LEX! Let them go or else." Superman said in a more enraged voice.

Lex: Or else what? you come any closer and I'll shoot your beloved Lana.

Superman: I won't let you hurt anybody!

Then Superman super speeds to Lex and holds him up by the neck. But then Superman starts to get weaker and that causes him to realease Lex.

Lex: Its a good thing I came prepared!

He then reveals a meteor rock the size of his fist in his hand.

Lana: Superman!!!

Lex: Now lets get on with the wedding! Lana and Lucy would you like to be my wives?

Lana: I-

Bruce is now awake and sees Clark beside him.

Bruce: Superman.

" bruce" he managed to say.

Bruce: What's wrong?

Superman: Meteor Rock......

Bruce then looks for the thugs and they are occupied with Chloe and his brother.

Lex: Well?!?!?!?

Bruce then uses his foot and trips Lex which causes him to fall.

Lex then gets up and points the gun at Bruce.

Lex: Bad mistake!

He then shoots but then Superman with all his energy left took the bullet and got shot where is wound was.

Superman: AHHHH!!!

Lana: NO!

Then Lana gets angry and smacks Lex.

Lex: What the HELL! that was a bad move Lana.

Then Lex points the gun and Lucy pulls the trigger but then Lana then takes the hit.

Lucy: Lana!!!!!

Now Lana and Clark are down and that leaves Lucy,Bruce, his brother, and Chloe.

Bruce: why did you take the shot?

Superman: I couldn't let my best friend get shot on his wedding day.

Then Superman goes unconscience.. Lana sees this and tears start coming from her eyes. Lucy gets down and comforts Lana.

Lucy: Lana, why did you take the shot?

Lana: I wouldn't let anything happen to you.

Chloe sees all this happening and starts to cry on Bryan's shoulder.

Lex gets frustrated and then grabs Lucy and points the gun at her.

Lex: I'm getting really tired so Lucy say I do!

Lucy: I- I-

Lucy then looks at Bruce who is looking at her.

Bruce whispers: I love you.

He manages to break loose of the ropes and signals Brian and Chloe to take down the thugs.

Bruce then moves his mouth....... one..... two.....

Then Bruce jumps Lex and managed to hit the gun out of his hand and while he did that Chloe elbowed the thug behind her and stepped on his foot. Bryan also elbowed the thug behind his and punched him. He kicked the thug a few times and Chloe was kicking the other thug with rage.

" How could you barge into someone's wedding like that??? Do you have no feeling????? " she said while kicking him.

Bryan: Chloe!

Chloe stopped kicking the man and turned to Bryan.

Chloe: What?

*Chloe breathes heavily*

Bryan: Are you okay?

Chloe: yea... I better now.

He gave her a smile.

Lana managed to get up and walk over to Clark considering she only got hit in the shoulder.

Lucy then picked up the gun while Lex and Bruce were struggling.

Lucy: LEX!

*They both stop*

Bruce then gets up followed by Lex.

Bruce to Chloe: Chloe, call the cops and get an ambulance.

Chloe then takes out her cell and dials 911 and Bruce takes the gun from Lucy and hits Lex in the head.

Bruce: I hope that knocked some sense into you.

Then they rush to Clark and Lana.

*Lana is crying*

Lana: He's.... not.. breathing...

Bruce: Lana everything is going to be okay... the cops and ambulance are coming... don't worry.

Lana: Bruce, his suit... we have to change him.


Bruce then takes of his shirt and Lana takes off Clark's suit and they put the shirt on Clark. Then Lana runs outside and searches allies to find his clothes and rushes back to the church.

They changed Clark into his clothes and hid the Superman suit.

The police come and take Lex away and the ambulance brings Clark to the hospital with Lana riding in the car.

When they got there they quickly rushed him into the ER and the nurses take care of Lana.

*1 hour later*

Lana comes out with her arm in a sling.

Lucy: How are you doing?

Lana: Like crap.... hows Clark?

Lucy: They got the bullet out and he's resting now....Bruce and Chloe are in there now.

Lana then walks into Clark's room and finds Bruce and Chloe sitting with Clark.

Chloe turns around to see Lana.

Chloe: Hey Lana hows your arm?

Lana: Its good.

Bruce: Uh.... we'll see you at the mansion.. okay Lana?

Lana: Yea okay I'll see you there.

Bruce: Chloe will you be coming with us?

Chloe: Bryan is there right?

Bruce giggles..

Bruce: Yea he's there.

Choe: Then yea I'll go.. Lana you okay here?

Lana: Yea I'm fine.

Bruce: Call if anything happens.

Lana: I will.

Then Chloe and Bruce exit.

Lana then sits in the chair beside Clark and brushes the hair out of his face.

Lana: I guess your not that invincible then you thought.

Then she holds his hand.

Lana: Oh Clark look at you, your in a hospital bed. It was really brave of you to take that bullet for Bruce. I did the same for Lucy and it cost me my arm. But it was nothing compared to what it cost you, it almost took your life. Thats what I love about Clark Kent, he so selfless, doesn't care if saving someone else's life costs him his own life.

Lana then feels his hand move.

Lana: Clark?

Clark slowly wakes up and sees Lana.

Clark: Lana?

Lana: Clark!

Then Lana hugs him with one arm.

Clark: What happened?

Lana: You took a bullet for Bruce.

Clark: I did? Good, I don't know what I would do without Batman.

Lana: Yea and I don't know what I'd do without Supeman.

Clark: What happened to you?

Lana: Well I took a bullet for my little sister.

Clark: Are you okay?

Lana: Yea I'm fine... what about you?

Clark: I still have the wound that Jor-El gave me.

Lana: Speaking of.. you might want to explain to me what kind of planet your parents are from. I mean what kind of father does that to a son?

Clark: Its complicated.

Lana: while your explaining maybe you could show me some of your other abilities....

Lana then winked.

Clark gave a smile.

Clark: I'd be glad to after I get out of this hospital bed.

Lana: Okay I'll go get the release forms.

Then after Lana finished with the paper work she walked in on Clark changing and saw his bare chest.

Clark: You know we are going to have to stop this "coming in while I'm changing" thing soon.

Lana: I promise this will be the last time.

Then Lana gave him a smile.

Clark put on his shirt and then they were out of the hospital.

*The Mansion*

Bruce: Lana just called, she said that Clark is fine and that they are coming now.

Chloe: Oh thats good to hear.

Lucy: I can't believe what Lex did.

Chloe: Well believe it Lucy because that is the mind of Lex Luthor.

Then they hear the door open it was Clark and Lana.

Chloe: Well its about time you came!

Chloe then gave each of them a hug.

Bruce the gave clark a hug.

Bruce: Thanks man,

Clark: It was nothing.

Lucy: Oh and thanks Lana.

Lana: Like I said before I would never let anything happen to you.

Chloe: They should really make a TV show for you two after all that you two have been through. I can see it now "The Adventures of Clark and Lana".

*They all laugh*

Clark: Well don't we have a wedding to attend to? Bruce?

Bruce: Lets do it.

Then Bruce kisses Lucy.

They all go back to another church and everybody is there and they take there places.

Bruce and Lucy side by side and the bridesmaids and Groom's Men on the sideline.

Reverrend: You may now kiss the bride.

Bruce and Lucy kiss and then they go off in there limo to the dinner.

Bruce and Lucy then had there first dance to "Come back Down" By Lifehouse. After they cut the cake and Lucy smashes cake into Bruce's face.

Then they were off to there honeymoon and Clark and Lana went back to Lana's apartment.

Once they Lana and Clark were inside and the door was shut Lana pulled him into a kiss.

Clark: What was that for?

Lana: Does there always have to be a reason for kissing you?

Clark: No... But I'm not complaining.

Then Clark pulled her into a kiss.

Lana then pulled away.

Lana: Okay, now lets talk about you.

Clark: Well alright, I'm from Krypton and I have abilities...

Then Clark superspeeds to the couch and lifts it up with one hand. Then he lights up a candle with heat vision.

Lana: Amazing Superman.

Clark: Why thank you Lana.

Lana: You are going to be very useful.

Clark: Well if I'm going to be used then there has to be a price for my abilities.

Lana: Okay name it.

Clark: each of my abilities is worth a kiss and since I just showed you three of my six abilities....

Then Clark superspeeds behind her.

Clark: I deserve 3 kisses.

Lana then tips her head and kisses him passionately and then it heats up as Lana starts to take off Clark's clothes. Then they enter her room and Lana then throws Clark on the bed. Then she closes the door behind her and goes on the bed and kisses Clark again. Then they were undercovers. Lana was awake staring at Clark and how he sleeps. Lana smiles and snuggles up closer to him.

ummm, superman got hurt when he took the bullet bcoz he was exposed to the kryptonite ring, right? but he was not exposed too long, so how come he was not instantly healed and they have to take him to the hospital????? i assume it was not a kryptonite bullet!!!!

Clark awoke the next morning with Lana asleep on her arm. So he gently turned her body so that she wasn't on her wounded shoulder. Then Clark put on a pair of pants and went out to her balcony.

While Clark is outside, the phone rings in the bedroom and Lana wakes up and picks it up.

Lana: Hello?

Hey Lana, its Chloe.

Lana: Hey Chloe.

Chloe: Listen, Bryan and I are going skiing this weekend and we were wondering if you and Clark might come.

Lana: yea sure I'll ask Clark.... how are things going with Bryan??

Chloe: Its great I think I might have actually found my match.

Lana: Chloe in love? wow I didn't think it could happen so fast considering you just met him a few days ago.

Chloe: Well a few days is nothing compared to you and Clark! You practically fell in love at first sight!

Lana: Yeah, I guess you could say that.

Chloe: Say it? I could prove it!

*They both laugh*

Chloe: So you and Clark will join us?

Lana: Definately.

Chloe: Okay see you then! bye

Lana: Bye!

Then Lana put the phone down and wrapped the blanket around her body and went outside.

Lana saw Clark outside on the balcony and tapped his shoulder.

Clark: Hey you're awake.

Lana: Yes and I can see you are enjoying the view better then those girls are down there.

Clark looks down and sees few girls looking up at him and whistling.

Lana: Go put on a shirt before those girls come climbing up on the balcony.

Clark: Nah, I think I'll just stay like this.

Lana: Well don't count on me to get them off of you when they get up here and start kissing you to death.

Clark: The only girl who could kiss me to death is right in front of me.... I think you should be the one putting on a shirt.... your starting to bring in a crowd.

Then Clark glances down and smiles at Lana.

Clark: Pretty soon they'll be throwing up pieces of paper at us.

*Lana laughs*

Then they both go inside and sit on the couch.

"Chloe called she asked if we wanted to go skiing with them this weekend" Lana said while playing with Clark's hair.

Clark: yea but whose them?

Lana: Bryan and Chloe.

Clark: Oh, wow they hooked up that fast?

Lana: Yep, a few days and they are already in love.

Clark: I know the feeling.

He then gave her a smile and Lana returns the smile with a kiss.

Lana: Well I better start packing for the weekend.

Clark: yea I better go and pack too.

They both entered the Lana's room and Clark put on a shirt and and Lana went into the bathroom. Before they left Clark gave a quick kiss that lingered for a while and he was out the door.

*The Weekend*

Chloe and Bryan were picking up Lana and Clark at Clark's apartment.

There was a knock on the door of Clark's apartment it was Lana.

Clark opened the door and saw Lana with three bags with her.

Clark: Its a weekend not a week.

Lana: Shut up and help me with my bags.

Clark then helped her put her bags down next to his and sat down on the couch waiting for Chloe.

*1 hour later*

KNOCK KNOCK.

Clark: Thats probably Chloe.

When Clark opened the door he saw Chloe and Bryan kissing. Lana then got up and saw Chloe.

Clark and Lana: Erm....

Chloe: Oh, sorry guys... ready to go?

Lana: Yep lets hit the road.

Clark and Bryan took the bags to the car and Chloe and Bryan sat in the back.

Clark: Uh... I guess I'll be driving?

Bryan and Chloe were too busy in the back.

Lana and Clark smiled at each other.

Then they were off to ski.

They finally arrived at the lodge by night time and Chloe and Bryan were still at it.

Clark and Lana: Erm...

Chloe: oh we're here.

Bryan: Thanks for driving Clark.

Clark: No problem.

Then Clark and Bryan brought the bags into the lodge.

Clark: Uh... theres only two rooms.

" I know" Chloe said while looking at Bryan.

Clark: Yea..I'll just take the couch then.

Lana: Actually, you can sleep with me Clark.

Clark's eyes widened and Chloe giggled.

Chloe: Alright then we all know where we sleep... I'm really tired so I'm gonna go to bed now.

Clark and Lana exchanged looks and giggles.

Chloe: what's so funny?

Clark: Nothing.... we just figured you probably do need some rest after that long drive....

Clark and Lana laughed.

Chloe: Shut up!

Then they all settled into there rooms.

*Clark and Lana's room*

Lana: Can you believe Chloe and Bryan?!?!

Clark: Yeah, they can't keep there hands off of each other!

Lana: I'm happy for Chloe.

Clark: Yeah me too.... I'm gonna go for a walk.. you want to join me?

Lana: maybe later I got unpack.

Clark: okay, see you in... 4 hours?

Lana threw a shirt at him.

Clark: I'm kidding.

They kiss and Clark is off for a walk.

Later that night Clark comes back and finds Lana by a fire.

Clark: Pssssstttt... Lana.

Lana turns around.

Lana: your back.

Clark: Yeah come on I want to show you something.

Lana: What is it?

Clark: Come on!

Lana: Okay.


Then Clark put a blindfold over Lana and led her to a spot.

Clark: Ready?

Lana: Yep.

Clark then took the blindfold off and revealed a blanket and a fire.

Lana: Wow.

Clark: I thought you might like it.


" But we could have done this back at the lodge." Lana said while sitting down by the fire.

Clark: And listen to those two love birds? nope...

Lana laughed.

Clark: Plus the sky is beautiful.

Clark sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her.

Lana: Its so beautiful.

Clark: but you know what is most beautiful?

Lana: What?

Clark: You.

Lana blushed.

Clark: The way you smile and your nose crinkles up when you do... its just the cutest thing!

Lana smiles.

Clark: See there it is!

Lana then starts to laugh.

Clark: see! its so cute!

Lana: stop it!

Clark: Okay okay.

Clark then smiled.

"you're so cute when you do that!" Lana mumbled to herself.

Clark: You think my smile is cute huh?

Lana: How did you know I-

Clark: Superhearing.

Lana: Wow superhearing, now I definately can't keep anything from you. Don't tell me you have x-ray vision too.

Clark: Actually, yeah I do.

Lana: Are you serious?

Clark: Yeah.

Lana: anything else?

Clark: I'm well I'm bullet proof.

Lana: bullet proof?

Clark: yeah nothing can hurt me except one thing.

Lana: What is that?

Clark: Meteor Rock or Kryptonite.

Lana: Krypto what?

Clark: Kryptonite its what we call it on Krypton.

Lana: Oh, is that why you were so weak at the wedding that Lex crashed?

Clark: yeah he a chunk of it in his hand..... if I was exposed to it for to long then I would have died.

Lana: Its a good thing Bruce was there.

Clark: Yup.... there's another kind of meteor rock you should know about.

Lana: What?

Clark: Red K.

Lana: Red Kryptonite?

Clark: Yeah.... it makes me different. I take more risks, like a free me.

Lana: Hmm.. maybe I should see this side of you...

Clark: Trust me Lana you don't want to see that side of me. It also makes me dangerous to be around.

Lana: Oh I see.... okay so maybe I don't want to see this side of you.

Clark: This doesn't change the way you feel about me does it? I mean now that you know my secret and everything.

Lana: No, Clark it doesn't.. don't ever say that.. .I stand by your side no matter what.

Lana then tips her head and gives him a kiss.

Then they layed in each others arms the whole night until they fell asleep.

The Next Morning.

"Errm.... " a voice said

Clark and Lana woke up.

Lana: Hey Chloe.

Chloe: So this is your hideout huh?

Clark: Sorry we must have fallen asleep.

Chloe: I've been looking all over for you two.

Clark: Why whats going on?

Chloe: We are going skiing thats whats going on now go back to the lodge and get dressed.

Clark and Lana then got up and went back to the lodge and dressed.

Chloe: Everybody ready?

Lana: yep.

Chloe: Lets go!

Then they all went to the top and skiied down.

Clark: Thats a long way down.

Chloe: Clark are you scared?

Clark: No... I'm just afraid of heights....

Chloe: I didn't think you would be afraid of heights even for a man who flys around in a suit.

Clark: I still get a little scared.

Lana: its okay Clark.

Chloe: Well see you at the bottom!

Then Chloe skiied down followed by Bryan.

Clark: Oh here goes nothing!

Clark then closes his eyes and goes down followed by Lana.

He goes down when he is almost reaching the bottom he stumbles and got a cut from a rock and lands on his bottom.

Lana then stumbles over the rock and gets a cut too and lands right smack on top of Clark.

Chloe and Bryan are just laughing there butts off.

Clark: Are you okay Lana?

Lana: Yeah I think I just scraped my leg... you?

Clark: I think I got a cut on my arm.

Then they both got up and Chloe and Bryan are still laughing.

Chloe: maybe you two should sit the rest of the day out.

Clark: yeah... we'll meet later for dinner?

Chloe: Yeah see you later.

Bryan and Chloe were off and Clark and Lana went back to the lodge.

Clark is shocked that he has cut.

When they get to the couch Clark puts some bandages on Lana's leg.

Clark: Lana something is not right... how did I get a cut on my arm??

Lana: I don't know... could it be a meteor rock?

Clark: I didn't feel any weaker when I went down.

Lana: Well I'm sure its no-

Then a shimmer a red goes over Lana's eyes.

Clark: Lana? Are you okay?

Lana: Never better....

Then Lana looked at Clark up and down and raised an eyebrow.

She then gave him a seductive smile.

"There's my boy" Lana said as she went in for a kiss.

Then there kiss became intense as Lana started to unbutton his shirt and Clark moved his hand up her shirt. Just then Chloe came in with Bryan.

Chloe: Oh! I'm sorry was I interrupting something?

Lana: Actually yeah you were.

Clark: What do you want?

Chloe: Uh.. we were supposed to meet 20 minutes ago for dinner.

Lana: Well I'm not hungry so you two can go ahead while I finish my dessert.

Then Lana looked at Clark mischeviously.

Chloe: Are you two okay?

Clark: We are great... we're just having a little fun.

Lana: Now if you don't mind you and your pet can leave.

Chloe: Excuse me?

Bryan: What has gotten into you guys?

Clark: Nothing we're just free.

Lana is whispering in Clark's ear and kissing his neck.

Chloe: Oh get a room!

Lana: You should take your own advice.

*Then she went back to her buisness*

Clark then picked up Lana as she screamed a bit and brought her into there room and shut the door.


Chloe to Bryan: Something is going on with them.

Bryan: You mean they usually don't act like this?

Chloe: No.... maybe we should go back to that mountain and take a look around.

Chloe and Bryan go back to the mountain and searched up and down.

Bryan: Did you find anything?

Chloe: No, I didn't.

Bryan: Maybe they just want to have fun.

Chloe: No theres something else going on..... didn't they get hurt coming down the moutain?

Bryan: Yeah, Lana scraped her knee and Clark has a cut on his arm.

Chloe: Wait a minute, Clark got a cut?

Bryan: yeah why?

Chloe: He can't get hurt.

Then Chloe looked again carefully up and down the mountain and spotted a red rock.

Chloe: Red-K.

Back at the lodge.

Lana had pinned Clark against a wall and held him there. Clark's shirt had been taken off and Lana's shirt as well. Clark decided to play with Lana a bit so while they were kissing he supersped behind her.

Clark: Behind you.

Then when Lana turned around Clark pinned her against the wall and kissed her neck. Lana played along and pushed him off.


Lana: Lets eat.

Clark: Aw....

Lana: Don't worry I give you something even better later.

Clark: Okay!

They got dressed and went to grab something to eat.

While eating Clark noticed that a guy passing by looked at Lana.

Clark: HEY! what are you looking at?

Guy: Nothing...

Then he winked at Lana and Clark threw him to the wall.

*Lana smacked his head*

Lana: Why did you do that?

Clark: He was hitting on you!

*Lana hit his head again*

Lana: Don't yell at me!

Clark: Stop hitting me!

Lana threw the basket of fries at him.

Clark: What was that for?

Lana: You yelled at me!

Clark: Thats because you hit me!

Lana: Why are we arguing?

Clark: I don't know!

Lana held his hand and she started pulling him toward the woods.

Clark: What are we doing here?

Lana then pulled his shirt and kissed him.

Meanwhile.....

Chloe: Bryan is Bruce back from the honeymoon?

Bryan: Yeah I think so.

Chloe: Okay lets go back to Metropolis.

Bryan: But what about Clark and Lana?

Chloe: Don't worry about them... they'll be fine.

Then Chloe and Bryan packed there things and were off to Metropolis.

After there long kiss Clark carried Lana and supersped to Crater Lake.

Lana: What are we doing here?

Clark: Let's go swimming.

Lana: We are not skinny dipping.

Clark: Why not?

Lana then kissed him passionately.

Clark: Oh thats why.

Lana: Let's pay my sister a visit.

Lana: Yep, anyways we were wondering if we could borrow your car.

Bruce: Sure you want the ferrari or porsche.

Clark: Actually we were hoping for something darker....

Bruce: You mean....

Clark: yep, so what do you say? Can we take the bat for a spin?

Bruce: Uh... I don't think so.

Lana: Oh come on, we promise we bring it back in one piece.

Lucy: Where's Bryan and Chloe?

Lana: I don't know and I don't care.

Lucy: What has gotten in to you Lana?

Lana: Can't your big sister have a little fun?

Clark: So can we get it or not?

Bruce: Absolutely not... are you two okay?

Clark: What is up with all this are you okay stuff????? Can't we just have a little fun???

Bruce: Yes, but this isn't you.

Lana: Of course it is! Now if we can just get the keys.

Then Clark started to feel very sick.


Lana: Clark? what's wrong?

From behind was Chloe and Bryan.

Chloe: I'm sorry Clark.

Bruce: Chloe whats going on?

Chloe: They both been infected by red-K.

Lana then kicked the meteor rock out of Chloe's hand and Clark recovered.

Bryan: We need to get you two some help.

Clark: We don't need any help!

Then Clark picked up Lana and super sped out.

Bruce: where did they go?

Chloe: I don't know, but we are going to need an antidote.

Bruce: Here give me the rock and I'll make some calls.

Chloe: How long will it take for the antidote?

Bruce: I don't know, but I'll do my best to get it asap.

Bryan: What do we do now?

Chloe: Look for them, call us when you have the antidote.

Bruce: Okay.

Then Chloe and Bryan went to the car but before they got in Chloe made a call to a friend.

Person: hello?

Chloe: Hey its me.

Person: What do you need.

Chloe: Your help.

Person: What can I do?

Chloe: Meet us a Bruce's Mansion right now.

Then suddenly a small wind came and Bart was standing next to Chloe.

Chloe: Hey Bart.

Bart: Hey so whats the SOS?

Chloe: Clark and Lana have been infected by red-k.

Bart: What you want me to do?

Chloe: Look for them.

Bart: Where do I start?

Chloe: Start at all the banks in Metropolis and then every hotel.

Bart: Alright, I call you if i get anything.

In a flash Bart was gone.

Bryan: what are we going to do?

Chloe: Hotels.

Meanwhile...

Clark and Lana had just bought a room at the Metropolitan Hotel after they took some money from some ATM's.

Clark supersped to the room and they were already kissing each other like there was no tomorrow.

Lana then stopped and threw money in the air.

Clark: Are you happy honey?

Lana: More then you know sweetie.

She jumps in Clark's arms.

Then Clark starts to hear sirens with his super hearing.

Bart had pass by banks until he came to on that had smashed ATM's.

Bart: They were here.

Then he heard sirens going toward the Metropolitan Hotel.

Bart: Boy are they in trouble...

Then Bart sped to the hotel.

Bruce: Alright I'll get there right away.


Then he was off to the Bat Cave.


*Metropolitan Hotel*

Clark: We have to go.

Lana: Aww.... boy do they know how to spoil the fun.

Clark: I know.

Then Clark sees the bat mobile.

Police: Batman?

Batman: I'll handle this.... they are my friends.

Police: Okay.

Just as Bruce said that Bart made his way there.

Batman: Flash.

Flash: Batman.

Then Chloe showed up.

Chloe: Hey.

Batman and Flash: Chloe.

Chloe: Alright here's the plan.....


Clark: Are you done lets go!

Then Clark super sped outside and found nothing there... No police no bat mobile.


Clark: Something isn't right.

Then from the back Chloe came with the antidote and gave it to Lana and at the same time Batman had a meteor rock and got him with the antidote.

Chloe: She's fine... what about Clark?

Batman: He's good.

Chloe: Alright Flash bring Lana back to the mansion and we'll get Clark.

Flash: Okie Dokie Smokie.

Then he was off in a Flash.

Batman then took Clark and put him in the bat mobile.

Chloe was then followed Batman.

Bart: Lucy? You here?

Lucy: Oh my god what happened?

Bart: don't worry she'll be okay, we just gave her the antidote.

Then Bart set her on the couch.

Batman then came and set him on the other couch and changed.

Chloe: Are you sure the antidote is going to work?

Bruce: yeah I'm sure... they tested it.

*30 minutes later*

Chloe: Look Lana is waking up.

Lana slowly opens her eyes and found herself on a couch and got up.

Lana: what happened?

Lucy then ran up to her and hugged her.

Lucy: Oh I'm so glad your okay.

Lana: I might not be if you keep hugging me tighter...

Lucy then released.

Lana: What happened?

Chloe: You and Clark were infected by Red-K.


Bruce then looked over at Clark as he also was waking up.

Bruce: Hey Clark, how are you feeling?

Clark: Like I hit a brick wall.... where's Lana?

Lana: I'm right here.

Then she got up and sat by him.

Clark: Are you okay? Did I hurt you?

Lana: No you didn't and I'm fine.

Clark then gave her a hug.

Chloe: I'm glad both of you are okay...

Lana: I hope we didn't say anything that hurt you guys did we?

Clark: We?

Lana gave him a playful slap on the chest.

Chloe: No you didn't.

Clark: I do remember us arguing...

Lana: About what?

Clark then remembered what he did.

Clark: uhh... you know what it’s not that important.

Chloe: I smell a cover up.

Clark: It was stupid really...

Lana: Oh come on.

Clark: No....

Lana: Not even if I did this?

Then she gave him a kiss.

Clark: uh... no.

Lana: how about this.

Then she gave him another kiss but this time with a bit of tongue.

Chloe: Okay! Clark just tell us it can't be that embarrassing.

Clark: alright, there was a guy looking at Lana and I got a little ticked off and I threw him into a wall.

*Lana hit the back of his head*

Lana: Clark! how could you do that?

Clark: Ow! Thats exactly what you did when I did it.

Lana: Good. then what happened?

Clark: I yelled why did you hit me and you hit me again

Everybody laughs

"Aww... how is your head" Lana said while patting his head.

Clark: I said stop hitting me and this time you threw french fries at me.

They all laugh again.

Clark: Thats not funny! I wasn't even yelling.

Lana: Ooooo its okay...

*She kissed his forehead*

Bruce: So who's hungry? My treat.

Chloe: Count me in.

Lana: I'm in.. Clark?

Clark: I thought you would never ask.

Then they all went to dinner at a French restaurant and afterwards Chloe, Lana, and Clark decided to stay one night because they were too tired to drive home.

Bruce was walking down a hallway pointing out where Clark and Lana will be sleeping and where Chloe will be sleeping.

Clark: Well I'm going ot take a shower..

Lana: Okay, don't take too long..

Clark: Hey I don't take as long as you do.

Lana threw a pillow at him and he went to shower.

*30 minutes later*

Clark came out with a towel around his waist and using another towel to dry his hair.

Lana was instantly attracted to his bare chest.

Clark: I'm done with the shower you can go in now.

He noticed she hadn't said anything.

Clark: lana?

Lana was still staring at his bare body with the steam coming from the behind him.

Clark smiled.

Clark: LANA!

Lana: Huh? what? what happened?

Clark: You were looking at me huh?

Lana: No I wasn't I was looking at the... uhh... the wall...

Clark: Unless your staring a hole through me or have x-ray vision.. I don't think so.

Lana's cheeks turned red.

Clark: just admit it.. my body is irresistible to you.

Lana: Yeah right.. I think its you who can't resist me.

Clark: Please.. yours is nothing compared to mine.

Lana: Wanna bet?

Clark: Alright.... lets see you lose.


Lana walked up to Clark really close and was about to give him a kiss but then pulled back as she did he leaned in.

Lana: see you can't resist already.. I didn't even touch you.

Clark: Okay my turn...

Clark got right in front of Lana's face and touched her lips with his but is wasn't a kiss. He kept on moving his lips up and down like finding somewhere to place his lips. Lana was so into this that she closed her eyes and started to breath a little heavily and her heart was beating faster.

Clark turned on his super hearing and heard the sound of her heart beat faster. He pulled back.

Clark: Game over.

Lana's eyes slowly opened.

Lana: What?

"Game over" Clark laughed.

Lana: How would you figure that?

Clark: Well look at you.. closed your eyes and your heart raced.

Lana: Thats not fair you used your abilities.

Clark: They do come in handy.... I win.

Lana: Alright lets take it up a notch.

Clark lifted and eyebrow.

Lana ran her fingers down his body and then took his hands and wrapped it around her waist. She tipped her head and kissed him.. while she was kissing him she slowly took the towel around his waist.

Then pulled away and went into the bathroom but before she went in she stuck her head out.

Lana: You might want to put on some clothes honey.

And closed the door.

Clark looked down and noticed he was naked.

Clark: Lana!

Lana was laughing when he yelled her name.

Clark: Chloe I need to talk to you.

Chloe: This better be good if you woke me up at 3 o'clock in the morning.

Clark: It is, lets get Lucy.

Chloe: Clark whats going on?

Clark: You'll see.

The both of them went to Lucy's room and knocked.

Lucy: Clark?

Clark: I need to talk to you.

Lucy: About what?

Clark: Come on out.

Lucy: Okay.

The three of them went to the couch and sat down.

Chloe: Clark whats going on?

Clark had a big smile on his face.

*The Next Morning*

Everybody but Lana was awake and eating breakfast. Lana then woke up and went to the kitchen and found everybody eating breakfast quietly.

Clark: good morning Lana.

Lana: Morning Clark.

Then in went quiet.

Lana: Why is everybody so quiet?

Bruce: What do you mean?

Lana: Well in this house it is always busy..

Bruce: Well there are times in this house where it is quiet.

Lana: Right...

She took a seat next to Clark and poured herself a bowl of cereal.

Lana: could you pass the milk please Chloe?

Chloe: Here's your dres.... milk.. this is milk..

"Are you feeling okay Chloe?" Lana said as she took the milk.

Chloe: yeah I'm fine...

She looks at her watch.

Chloe: Oh will you look at the time we better get going.. Clark?

Clark: Yeah lets get going we can't be late.

Clark kisses Lana on the cheek.


Lana: Wait, you two aren't going like that are you?

They both looked at what they were wearing.. jeans and a shirt.

Clark: Uhh.. I'm going to my apartment to get my suit.

Chloe: Yeah same with me I'm going to get dressed.

Lana: But I thought you two are off today?

Chloe and Clark look at each other.

Chloe: Uh... we were but then Perry called and said we had to go in today.

Clark: Yup.

Lana: Oh okay I'll see you two later.

Then Clark and Chloe rushed out the door and into Chloe's car.

Chloe: that was close.

Then they were off.

At work Lana was delivered some red roses.

Delivery Man: I have a delivery for Lana Lang?

Lana: Over here.

Delivery Man: Here you go.

Lana's face lit up.

Delivery Man: I need you to sign here.

The man gave her a pad and she signed.

Then Lana walked in to her office smelling the flowers. She set them down and took out the card.

Please join me for dinner at my apartment 7 o'clock.

Then Lana smiled and set the card down and continued to work with Clark on her mind.

When she got to her apartment at 6:30 she found a dress laying on her bed with a card on top.

SUPRISE!!!!! Bet you didn't see this coming did you? Well I will see you in this dress at my apartment at 7.

Clark opens the door.

Clark then offered his arm and gave her a kiss on the cheek and led her to the table.

Clark: What?

Then Lana pulled him down and gave him a kiss on the lips.

Lana: Thats better.

Clark: Oh, thats what happened.

Lana: Yep.

Clark: So what do you think?

Lana: Wow... who made all this?

Lana: She is quite the cook isn't she.

Clark: Yup.

Lana sat down and Clark pushed the chair in and after they ate they both went for a walk in the park.

Clark walked to the middle of the park and yelled..

Then Clark took out a little red box and opened it.

She looked from the ring and to Clark. So many thoughts were flying through her head.

She takes one step back.

Clark more worried then ever about her answer.

"It's too complicated" Lana said as she walked away leaving a heartbroken hero in tears.

Lana then takes out a picture from her drawer. It is the same picture that she had showed Clark earlier.

It has been two months since Lana had rejected Clark's proposal. They haven't seen each other since, no phone, no talk, nothing. Clark took opposite routes avoiding to ever see Lana while she took the same route as always hoping to see Clark. You'd think that only one heart was broken in that night but no. Two hearts were broken that night. Lana was just as heartbroken as Clark. But she thought it was the right thing to do considering what he does everyday. Its not that she didn't love him it was just that she was scared. Clark on the other hand showed nothing. No heartbreak, no regret. These two kept it together outside but were so broken up inside.

*Metropolis 9:00 at Night*


As Superman was patroling around the streets of Metropolis he saw a man holding a radio that was playing a song. Lana happened to pass by the man on her way to her apartment as well.

As Lana was making her way to her apartment a man in a black sweater and black pants came up to Lana and pulled a gun on her.

Mugger: Give me your bag!

Lana: No! get away from me.

Mugger: Lady give me the bag or else I'll shoot.

Lana: No! leave me alone!

The mugger then tries to take the bag from Lana but she fights back.


Lana: HELP! HELP!

Superman then hears the scream and quickly flies toward the screaming and sees someone getting mugged and flies down.


Superman: Leave her alone!

Lana falls to the ground as she recognizes the voice and the mugger runs away with her bag then Clark super speeds in front of him. Then grabs him by the shirt and throws him against the wall. Superman picks up the bag and super speeds back to Lana.

Superman is not aware that it is Lana.

Superman: Here you go ma'am

She steps out of the shadows and takes the bag.

Lana: Thank you.

Superman's eyes widened and then he turns away from her.

"Stay out of trouble" Superman said in a strict voice then superspeeds to the mugger and flies him to the police station.

Leaving Lana with a hurtful but regretful look on her face.

Chloe: Hey Clark.

Clark lifts his head and smiles at her.

Chloe: Whats wrong?

Chloe: No usually when you're working slow like this something is wrong.

Clark: You always seem to know whats going on with me.

Chloe: I've known you all my life, how can I not?

Clark: Last night when I was patroling, a women was being mugged.

Chloe: Oh, is she okay?

Clark: Yep she's fine.

Chloe: Then whats bugging you.

Clark: It was Lana.

Chloe: Oh..I see, what happened?

Clark: I was sort of hard on her.

Chloe: Well I wouldn't blame you because you were hurt and I don't blame Lana either.

Clark: Its just a feel a little guilty for talking to her like that.

Chloe: Well what did you say?

Clark: I told her to stay out of trouble.

Chloe: That doesn't seem so harsh.

Clark: But I said it like, I didn't want to see her... ever.

Chloe: You were hurt Clark and sometimes when you hurt you push people away.

Clark: But when I was there, I just felt like I wanted to cry my heart out.

Chloe: Would that be in a good way or bad?

Clark looked away.

Chloe: I'll take that as a bad?

Clark: Its just that I thought she was the one but I was wrong.

Chloe: I don't know what to say Clark, but I'm sorry and I can't explain Lana.

Just then a women walks in with long black hair.

" I can explain " she said

Chloe: Lana.

Then Clark gave a straight face and walked out of his office passing Lana by.

Chloe: Clark!

Clark then exited The Daily Planet leaving Lana again with a hurtful face.

That was the truth Chloe couldn't stand it when her friends were in pain. Now it came to her two best friends. She knew that it was meant to be.

Lana: I don't know what to do Chloe.. I feel like a monster.

Chloe: Lana your not a monster... you just did what you thought was right and Clark just thought otherwise.

She then broke the hug.

Chloe: Everything is going to be okay.

Lana: How can it be when he can't even look at me much less be in the same room with each other.

Chloe: He'll come through, I know he will.

Lana: What if he doesn't? He'll just probably think of me as breaking his heart.

Chloe: He will because he's... Clark, he doesn't hold anything against people. Especially you, he loves you too much to.

Lana: Well right now it looks like I'm not the person he wants to see.

Chloe: He does want to see you.

Lana: He sure does have a funny way of showing it.

Chloe: When he's hurt he'll push people away.

Lana: what do I do now?

Chloe: Go get him and don't let him slip away.

Lana: What if he runs again?

Chloe: Don't let him, look him in the eye and tell him that you love him.

Lana: I don't know Chloe...

Chloe: If I put you together before I can do it again.... do I need to kick someone so that you two can work this out?

Lana let out a smile and gave Chloe one more hug and went to his apartment.

*Clark's Apartment*

Clark is sitting on his couch deep in thought when there was a knock on the door.

Lana: Clark its me Lana.

Clark just looked at the door and back at his shoes.

There was no answer so Lana opened the door and walked in.

Clark again looked at Lana and back at his shoes.

Lana: We're gonna have to talk sometime Clark.

Clark: No we don't.

Lana: Give me a chance to explain.

Clark: You don't need to explain, it was clear that you didn't want me in your life.

Lana: Yes I did want you in my life Clark.

Clark's eyes started to water but he then used his heat vision to light up the candle in front of him to prevent tears from falling.

Then he got up and started to walk towards the door but Lana grabbed his arm and her hand slid down to his hand.

Lana: Please Clark, give me a chance.

Clark looked at where Lana's hand was and she noticed this, so she gripped his hand tighter.

Clark then looked up at Lana.

Clark: Fine.

He let go of her hand and sat back down on the couch.

Lana: Okay, the reason why I.. declined your proposal was because I was scared.

Clark: Of what?

Lana: Clark, what you do everyday is amazing. You help protect people who can't protect themselves and its wonderful but...

Clark: you'll always be in danger.

Lana: No, I'm afraid that it will tear us apart.

Clark: What?

Lana: I want you to save the world and all that but with you being away all the time and saving people it will just tear us apart.

Clark then gets up and walks over to Lana and takes her hands.

Clark: Lana, nothing and no one in this world will never tear me apart from you. I will always be by your side, always.

Lana: What if I get selfish and want you all to myself?

Clark let out a smile.

Clark: You never have to be selfish because my heart is with you and only you. Nobody can ever change that no matter how hard it gets we will get through it. That was what the test was for, to test our love and we passed.

Lana then thought about what happened during that test and realized what she sacraficed for there love.

Clark: Plus I got Batman on my side.

Lana let out a smile.

Clark: So what do you say Ms. Lang will you marry me?

He then took out the ring from his pocket.

Lana: Yes I would love to marry Superman.

Clark: I don't know who Superman is but there is a Clark Kent.

Lana: I guess Clark Kent is my Superman.

Clark then slipped the ring on her finger.

Lana: I never said yes.

Clark: what?

Lana kissed him passionately and then pulled away.

Clark: I'm guessing that means yes?

Guard: Lex you have a visitor.

He unlocked the cell and Lex walked over to a booth and the guard took off his cuffs.

Lionel: I know they declined your bail.

Lex: Yes and I can be put away for life if Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne testify.

Lex: what are you going to do?

Lionel: You don't have to worry about anything Lex, I have everything under control.

Lionel gave an evil grin.

Lex: I hope what your planning works.

Lionel puts the phone back and walks away taking out his cell phone and making a call.

Clark was rushing to his desk when he bumped into a lady with a box.

Clark: Oh my god, I'm so sorry.

Lady: No its okay it was my fault.

Clark: no it was mine i was rushing I'm sorry.

He helped the lady put things back in the box after they cleaned up they stood up and introduced themselves.

Clark: Hi, I'm Clark Kent.

Lady: Alicia Baker.

*They shake hands*

Clark: So, Alicia where are you heading off to?

Alicia: I'm looking for a Perry White.

Clark: Oh, so your new here?

Alicia: Yea I am.

Clark: Well his office is straight ahead.

Alicia: thanks.

Then Alicia went into Perry's office and Clark went to his desk.

Chloe: Hey Clark.

Clark: Hi Chloe.

Chloe: So how are things with Lana?

Clark: They are great.

Chloe: Thats nice to hear.

Then Perry comes out of his office.

Perry: Kent! get into my office now!

Clark: I better go.

Then Clark went into Perry's office.

Perry: we have new employee with us and I want you to show her around. Her name is Alicia Baker.

Alicia turns around and sees Clark.

Perry: You know each other good now get out of my office and show her around.

Alicia gets up and picks up her box as Clark opens the door for her. Alicia sets her box on her desk and Clark shows her around.

Clark: The copier is over there and scanner is there... I think thats pretty much it.

Alicia: Thanks for showing me around.

Clark: Ah, no problem, I need to get back to work.

Alicia sits at her desk and puts out her things while Clark gets back at his desk.

Chloe: So who's the new girl?

Clark: Alicia Baker.

Chloe: Alicia Baker?

Clark: Yea why?

Chloe: Well when I was doing a story on the Luthor Corp plant and I asked her a few questions.

Clark: You think she works for Lionel?

Chloe: I don't know, but I think we should be careful.

Then they both continued there work.

Clark comes through the door and finds Lana watching TV.

Lana: Hey your home.

Clark: Hi.

Lana: How was your day?

Clark: It was okay, I showed a new employee around.

Lana goes to where Clark is and kisses him.

Clark: Alicia Baker.

Lana: A women?

Clark: No a guy.

Lana has a confused look on her face.

Clark: Yes Lana its a women.

She gives him a playful slap on the chest.

Lana: What is she like?

Clark: are you prying?

Lana: Okay, I'll butt out.

Clark: Lana don't worry, she not going to replace you.

Then Clark wraps his arms her waist and kisses her.

Lana then gives him another kiss.

Lana: By the way Bruce called he's inviting you to a party at Wayne Enterprises tomorrow night.

Lana: I think 8:00.. he said that Lucy couldn't make it with him because Chloe and me are going out with her.

Clark: thats not fair. The three of you get to party out in clubs in your sexcy clothes while I have to be in a tuxedo eating crackers and cheese.

Lana: Who said anything about clubbing and wearing sexcy clothes?

Clark: I know theres a frisky side to you.

Lana: Prove it.

Clark: Okay.

Then Clark picked her up.

Then Clark brought her into the room and closed the door behind them.

Bruce: Hey Clark thanks for coming.

Then a lady with blonde hair comes up to Bruce.

Alicia: Perry sent me on an interview with Bruce. what are you doing here?

Clark: I'm friends with Bruce.

Bruce: So, who's your friend Clark?

Clark: Oh sorry, uh Bruce this is Alicia Baker she works at the Daily Planet.

They shake hands.

Clark: So are you here by yourself?

Alicia: Uh no actually I came with my friend. I could really come here alone.

Clark: First times always like that..... well I should let you go on with your job.

Then Clark walks to the food.

Bruce: Uh.. follow me.

Bruce leads her to his office on his way there he grabs two drinks.

Alicia takes a seat as Bruce does too.

Bruce: Okay so what do you want to know?

As Alicia is about to speak there's a knock on the door.

Bruce: excuse me.

Bruce goes to the door and Alicia gets up and quickly drops something in his drink.

*Meanwhile*

A lady with a black hair approaches Clark.

Lady: Hi.

Clark: Hi.

Lady: I saw you talking to my friend.. Alicia?

Clark: Oh you must be her friend.

Lady: Pheobe Haliwell.

Clark: Clark Kent.

Pheobe: So she must be luck to have you.

Clark: Oh no, we're just friends, I have a fiancee.

Pheobe: Oh, I see... so you want a drink?

Clark: Uh, yea sure.

Pheobe goes to get a drink but before she went back to Clark she set the drinks down and puts something in his drink.

Pheobe: Here you go.

Clark: Thanks.

When Clark finishes his drink he feels dizzy.

*In the office*

Bruce had finished his drink and is feeling dizzy too.

Pheobe then brings Clark into the office.

Alicia to Pheobe: Did it work?

Pheobe: yes it did.

Alicia: Okay we need to finish the job.

*The Next Morning*

Clark wakes up with a headache in a hotel room.

Clark: Where am I?

Then Clark heres someone in the room. Its Bruce.

Clark: Bruce what the hell happened?

Bruce: I could ask the same question.

Then they both realize that they are naked.

Bruce: Do you remember what happened last night?

Clark: No.. I don't.

Bruce: Lets just go back home and figure this out okay?

Clark: alright.

They both get dressed and go back home.

When Clark gets to there apartment he finds Lana sitting on the couch holding a picture.

Clark: Lana?

Lana turns to his and shows him the picture.

Lana: What the hell is this?

The picture shows a blonde girl kissing Clark.

Great update, I wonder what happened to Clark and Bruce. Maybe they were date raped, and so the girls could have their children. One a kid of Supes, the other son of the bat. Both would be pretty powerful. But I'll have to wait and see.

Clark: Lana I have no idea what she's talking about.

Clark: Lana you have to believe me.

Lana: Clark I want you to be honest with me. Did you or did you not sleep with Alicia?

Clark: yes.. no.. I don't know.. Lana, honestly I don't know what happpened.

Lana sighed with tears coming down her cheeks and she dropped the pictures and stormed out of the apartment. Lana got in her car and drove towards Chloe's apartment.

*Chloe's Apartment*

Theres a knock on the door.

Chloe: Who is it?

Lana: Chloe its Lana can I come in?

Chloe: Yea the door is open.

Lana opens the door and finds Lucy sitting on the couch with a few tears falling down her cheek.

Lana: Lucy? what are you doing here?

Chloe: Lana? what happened?

Chloe noticed the light redness in her eyes.

Lucy to Lana: Bruce....

Lana to Chloe: Clark...

Chloe: Wait. don't tell me you received something in the mail that really pissed you off too?

Lana: Yea.. how did you....

Lucy: It happpened to me.

Chloe: Hold On. So the both of you got pictures of you men with some other girl.... together?

Lucy and Lana: Yup.

Lana: Chloe whats going on?

Chloe: Lionel Luthor is whats going on.

Lana and Lucy: What?

Chloe: Think for a minute here... Two girls meet Clark and Bruce and give them a one night stand. Leaving disturbing pictures of them together to there lovers.

Lucy: what are you trying to say they were set up?

Chloe: Not set up... drugged.

Lana: Bruce I can believe can get drugged but Clark?

Chloe: Its possible if one of the ingredients was kryptonite.

Lucy: But why Clark and Bruce and not some other guys?

Chloe: because Lex has a trial on Sunday and Clark and Bruce are testifying against him to put him away for life.

Lana: how does that have anything to do with us?

Chloe: Everything. To defeat Superman and Batman you have to weaken Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne.

"and sleeping with other women weakens them?" Lana said sarcastically.

Chloe: No... everybody has a weakness one way or another. For Clark and Bruce, one of there weaknesses is you two.

Lucy: what?

Chloe: To defeat them Lionel takes away the thing they care about most in the world.

Lana: Us?

Lucy: I still don't understand.

Lana: There lives would be a living hell if they didn't have us in there lives.

Chloe: Right.

Lucy: So where do we go from here?

Chloe: Well we need to talk to Bruce and Clark about all of this and you can deal with your problems later.

Lana then sits next to Lucy as they both look away.

Chloe: Look, I know the two of you aren't at the best of terms with your spouses right now. But you have to understand that they would never do anything to hurt the two of you. You are too important to them and they love you too much to do so. They have proven to you that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with you.

Chloe looks down at there rings followed by Lucy and Lana.

Chloe: So are you two in or do I have to do this alone?

Lana and Lucy look at each other and nod.

Lana: We're in.

Chloe: Okay let me call Clark to meet us at Bruce's.

When Chloe, Lucy, and Lana enter Bruce's house they find things scattered everywhere and busted walls.

Lucy to Lana: Maybe you were right about the living hell thing.

Lana: your telling me I just hope Clark didn't tear down the apartment.

Chloe: BRUCE! CLARK!

The three of them hear a groaning from a Lucy's bedroom. When they got there they found Bruce on the floor with a blood streaming down from his head.

"Bruce!" Lucy said as she ran over to his side.

Chloe: Bruce what happened? when I called everything was fine.

Bruce: Right after you.... called.. they ambushed us...

Chloe: Where's Clark?

Bruce: They... tortured and....kidnapped him.

They all walk to the living room.

Bruce: Yea it does... he said if I went to the trial Sunday they were going to kill Clark.

"We have to find him." Lana said as she got up.

Chloe: But we don't know where they are.

Lana to Bruce: You heard them say something about a ware house right?

Bruce: yea but you can't go alone.

Lucy to Bruce: And you can't go like that.

Bruce: i'm fine. its just a cut and a few bruises... Lucy, about the pictures......

Lucy: Don't worry about it.

Bruce: Really?

Lucy: Chloe filled me in...

Bruce: Oh....

Lana: I hate to cut this romance thing but if you don't mind I would love to find my fiancee.

Bruce: Okay...Give me a second....


Then Bruce went into the bat cave and came zooming out in his bat mobile followed by Chloe's red bug with Lana and Chloe in it.

They made it to the warehouse that Bruce heard about and all got out of the car.

Batman: Well this is the warehouse they were talking about...

Lana: Lets go..

They busted through doors and......

found an empty room... Then Batman heard something...

Batman: GET OUT!

They all ran out of the warehouse and Batman jumped over Lana and Chloe and covered them with his cape just as the bomb went off with a boom.

Luckily Batman's cape was made of strong material that made it almost indestructible. Batman then revealed the two girls in hiding from the dangerous explosion.

Batman: That psycho set us up.

Chloe: Really? I didn't notice because the explosion was too big!

Lana: Everybody take a breath... Obviously, we were set up. Now the question is where is Clark?

Then suddenly the three of them heard a ringing.

Chloe: Is that a phone?

Lana: Yea it is.

They followed the ringing and it led to a pile of wood. They dug the phone out and answered it.

Batman: who is this?

Lionel: Mr. Wayne, I see you have found my suprise.

Batman: Wheres Clark?

Lionel: Don't worry about him, he's safe.

Batman: How do i know your not lying.

Lionel then puts the phone up.

Clark: AHHHH!!!

Then Batman heard someone slap him and when Lana heard this she quickly took the phone.

Lana: Listen you son of a bi***, if you don't tell me where Clark is right now I swear with every fiber of my being I will make you wish you were never born.

Lionel: Ms. Lang. I presume Ms. Sullivan is there too.

Chloe then takes the phone from Lana.

Chloe: You bet your ass I'm here.

Batman then took the phone from Chloe.

Batman: What do you want?

Lionel: Like I said before, don't go to trial and Mr.Kent will be fine.

Batman: How do I know you'll give him back if I don't go.

Lionel: Well its up to you, you can take my word or Mr. Kent will be in much pain. We will keep in touch with this phone.


Then Lionel hung up and Batman squeezed the phone.


Lana: what are we going to do?

Batman: I don't know... but for now lets just go back to the mansion and sleep on it.

Then Batman jumped in the Bat mobile and zoomed off followed by Chloe and Lana in the red bug.

*Bruce's House*

Lucy had shown Lana and Chloe there rooms for the night and Lana remembered the last time she was in Bruce's house...


*Flashback*

Clark came out with a towel around his waist and using another towel to dry his hair.

Lana was instantly attracted to his bare chest.

Clark: I'm done with the shower you can go in now.

He noticed she hadn't said anything.

Clark: Lana?

Lana was still staring at his bare body with the steam coming from the behind him.

Clark smiled.

Clark: LANA!

Lana: Huh? what? what happened?

Clark: You were looking at me huh?

Lana: No I wasn't I was looking at the... uhh... the wall...

Clark: Unless your staring a hole through me or have x-ray vision.. I don't think so.

Lana's cheeks turned red.

Clark: just admit it.. my body is irresistible to you.

Lana: Yeah right.. I think its you who can't resist me.

Clark: Please.. yours is nothing compared to mine.

Lana: Wanna bet?

Clark: Alright.... lets see you lose.


Lana walked up to Clark really close and was about to give him a kiss but then pulled back as she did he leaned in.

Lana: see you can't resist already.. I didn't even touch you.

Clark: Okay my turn...

Clark got right in front of Lana's face and touched her lips with his but is wasn't a kiss. He kept on moving his lips up and down like finding somewhere to place his lips. Lana was so into this that she closed her eyes and started to breath a little heavily and her heart was beating faster.

Clark turned on his super hearing and heard the sound of her heart beat faster. He pulled back.

Clark: Game over.

Lana's eyes slowly opened.

Lana: What?

"Game over" Clark laughed.

Lana: How would you figure that?

Clark: Well look at you.. closed your eyes and your heart raced.

Lana: Thats not fair you used your abilities.

Clark: They do come in handy.... I win.

Lana: Alright lets take it up a notch.

Clark lifted and eyebrow.

Lana ran her fingers down his body and then took his hands and wrapped it around her waist. She tipped her head and kissed him.. while she was kissing him she slowly took the towel around his waist.

Then pulled away and went into the bathroom but before she went in she stuck her head out.

Lana: You might want to put on some clothes honey.

And closed the door.

Clark looked down and noticed he was naked.

Clark: Lana!

*End of Flashback*

Lana just smiled and giggled a little then Lucy came in.


Lucy: Hey sis, I brought you some extra blankets and a pair of pajamas.

Lana: Thanks.

She took the blankets and pj's and sat on the bed. Lucy noticed that something was wrong.

Lucy sat down beside her.

Lucy: We'll find him Lana.

Lana: But what if we're too late?

Lucy: Don't think that way.

Lana: How can I not? his life is in between good and bad.

Lucy went to the drawer and brought out a bracelet.

Lana: Its beautiful.... where did you get it?

Lucy: I didn't get it.. you did.

Lana: What do mean?

Lucy: You probably don't remember. We were two years old and mom left us at Uncle Benny's candyshop. We were picking out candy and stuff when a little cute boy came in with his mom. They were walking towards us and the little boy was smiling at you the whole time walking over to the chocolate covered raisins and if you ask me I don't think he was excited about getting some chocolate. When he got closer he tripped and the first thing you said wasn't "Are you okay" or " Do you need some help." Your exact words were "He's so cute." When he got up he walked over to me and that was around the time you walked away because you thought he was interested in me not you.

Lana: What did the boy do?

Lucy: He took this out from his pocket and said " Please give this to the girl who walked away."

Lana: Aww.... but why do you have it?

Lucy: I got a little mad and kept it... I found it a few days ago in a pink box.

Lana: oh... I wonder who that little boy was.

Lucy: That boy, is the man that put the ring on your finger and Clark is the boy who gave you this bracelet.

Lucy then handed over the beautiful blue bracelet to Lana.

Lana: Its so small.

Lucy: Clark would be happy to fix it when we find him and bring him home safely.

Lana smiled and gave Lucy a hug.

Lana: thanks Lucy.

Lucy: What are sisters for? I better let you get some sleep.

They both said good night and Lana slipped in to the pj's then drifted into a deep sleep and beautiful dream.

*Dream Sequence*

The setting was in a gym filled with decorations: lights, flowers, tables with beautiful white cloth over them. Playing on the stage was Lifehouse singing You and Me. Everybody is slow dancing to the music but Clark. He is standing on the dance floor looking at everyone when a Lana comes through the doors of the gym in a beautiful white dress with her hair beautifully put up. She walks towards a table with drinks behind her. She stands there nervously as Clark makes his way toward her. They stand there for a few seconds gazing into each others eyes and with a nervous smile, Clark puts his right hand out and asks the words Lana has been waiting to hear.

Clark: May I have this dance?

Lana: I thought you'd never ask.

Then Lana puts her left hand on his right as he leads her to the dance floor. They dance the night away in each others gaze after a few moments of gazing deeply into each others eyes, Lana moves her hands down to his arms and gets closer to his chest and lays her head there as Clark has his arms around her waist. As the night goes on, Lana removes her head from his chest.

Clark: Is everything okay?

Lana: Its perfect.

With that she tips her head and Clark bends down and they share a passionate kiss while dancing the night away.

Lana is sleeping peacefully in her bed with a smile that nobody could beat.

I wonder what Batman will decide to do??? Nice to see Clark has always had something for Lana even in this fic to where they didn't meet til College....so that dream she had was almost like their dance in Spirit, but it was a dream of something that never happened right? Still nice though! PPMS:)

*Sunday Morning*

Lana woke up to the fresh smell of brewed coffee and gets up and walks to the kitchen.

"Lana, you’re awake." Bruce said surprised.

"Yea so what are we going to do?" Lana asked with hope.

Lucy and Bruce look at Chloe, who then looks down.

"I guess I'll be telling her." Chloe mumbled as she got up and walked to Lana.

"Lana, we... err... Bruce is going....to uh... trial." Chloe stuttered.

"What? They’ll kill Clark you can't go!" Lana almost screamed. They couldn't do this. Clark was the one thing she loved dearly, she wasn't going to just let him die!

"I don't have a choice Lana." Bruce said.

"Yes you do! We just have to make a plan." Lana said.

"Lana we couldn't come up with anything." Chloe said.

"There has to be another way... you can't just let him... die." Lana replied almost on the verge of tears.

"This is for the greater good Lana.... we can't let a man that twisted on the streets of Metropolis let alone two." Bruce tried to convince her.

"No I don't accept that. You have to save Clark!"

"Lana, you know Clark as well as I do and you know that he would sacrifice his life for everyone’s safety, especially your's." Bruce said.

"I am not going to let him die." Lana's eyes were now watery from the unshed tears.

"We don't have a choice." Chloe said.

"There has to be." Lucy intervened.

"Lucy we talked about this, there no other choice." Bruce said.

"I have to go with Lana on this one. We have to find a way." Lucy responded. She wantd her sister to be happy, not miserable.

"There is no other way." Chloe stated once again.

"You know that if Clark were in your shoes he would do everything to save you. No matter how hard it is. We can't just give up like this." Lucy explained.

"But we all know when it comes to his life and the world he would do anything to protect it. Even if the price is his life." Chloe argued.

Somewhere in the middle of Metropolis was a warehouse that held Clark and the lunatic who put him there.

"Mr. Kent, how are you doing?" Lionely said looking at him coldly.

All Clark could do is let out a whimper because he was chained up to a wall surrounded by kryptonite. He is too weak to speak.

"It seems your friends have found my surprise bomb." Lionel smirked.

"You... b-bastard....." Clark barely whispered.

"I have a feeling that Bruce will do something very foolish." Lionel laughed evily.

"Just.... kill... me...now...." Clark managed to get out.

"When the time comes... I will. I just want you to know... if my son goes to jail because of Bruce.. this isn't over.. it will never be and I think you know what would end this." Lionel warned.

"I...won't.. back.. down..."

"I think you will if something unexpected happens to the ones you love..."

Inside the court room, Lex is being brought to the desk in front of the judge just as Lionel takes a seat at the benches. Then suddenly two women come in with black hair.

"Ms. Lang, Mrs. Wayne.. what are you two doing here?" Lionel asked.

"We came here to testify." Lana said.

"Bruce didn't tell you the deal did he?" Lionel nodded in disapproval.

"Yea he did. But you said if he went. You didn't say anything about us going." Lucy said coyly.

"But only Mr. Kent and Mr. Wayne could testify." Lionel retorted.

"Bruce talked to his attorney." Lucy said.

"I see and where is Mr. Wayne now?" Lionel asked curiously.

"He's out on buisness."

"I see." Lionel said before gulping uneasily.

Lucy and Lana then went in the front for a seat with smirks on their faces.

One hour after the trial, Lex had been proven guilty and put away for life.

"You have won this but I still have Mr. Kent." Lionel threatened walking up to Lana and Lucy.

"Do you?" Lana asked with a lift of an eyebrow.

"I'd call that body guard of yours." Lucy grinned.

"Mr. Luthor you have really gotten really careless." Lana said before turning and walking out of the courtroom.

Lionel took out his cell and phoned the bodyguard that was guarding Clark. But no one answered.

Lana and Lucy went back to Bruce's Mansion and found only Chloe by a fire in the living room.


"Chloe? What happened? Where are Bruce and Clark?" Lana asked.

"They told us to meet them at this warehouse." Chloe replied.

"Why?" Lucy asked.

"I don't know but lets go and find out." Chloe said before getting up.

They all get into the red bug and drove to the warehouse and when they got out of the car, Clark and Bruce came out of the warehouse and quickly ran out to the girls.

"Lana!" Clark said before he caught her in his arms.

"Clark!" Lana said tears streaming down her face.

They embraced tightly as Lucy and Bruce were doing the same. Clark spun Lana around as she giggled. She pulled back to see those blue/green eyes of her lover. She smiled happily before kissing him deeply.

"We have a suprise for you girls." Clark stated.

"Really?" Lana asked still in his arms.

"Yep we'll be right back. Bruce lets go." Clark said setting her down on her feet.

"Okay." Bruce said before leaving Lucy's side.

One more kiss and they went back to the warehouse. The minute the door closed the warehouse exploded into pieces.

There was a lot of green smoke.

They all ran out to the warehouse and looked for Clark and Bruce.

But found nothing.

"CLARK!!" Lana yelled afraid of the inevitable.

"BRUCE!!" Lucy yelled.

"Hey guys come here!" Chloe called out waving her hand.

"What? What is it Chloe?" Lana asked running up to her side.

Chloe picks up two rings and gave them to Lana and Lucy.

"No it can't be. Not Clark." Lana said feeling the tears burn in her eyes again.

"I know, he can't be dead." Chloe said.

"There was green smoke Lana." Lucy breathed out sadly.

"NO! It can't be. I don't believe it." Lana said fresh tears streaming down her face.

Chloe found another thing when the smoke cleared up a little.

She picked it up... it was a fabric with a printed "S" on it and a black mask have torn.

Lucy, Lana, and Chloe looked at the broken pieces of the warehouse and back at the objects in their hands before they broke down and cried.

"Are you sure this is the right thing to do?"

"Its the only way to protect them from any harm."

"For how long?"

"Just until he's off our trail."

"They'll be unprotected."

"We're in the shadows."

Why oh why are Clark and Bruce doing this to them.....they could have at least let them in on it...oh well I just hope they forgive them when it's all over....Clark and Lana need to hurry up and get married too, but with all these interruptions is it ever going to happen??

Clark: We at least should have told them.

Bruce: We couldn't take that risk. You know nothing gets past Lionel.

Clark: I can't do this I have to see her and you need to see your wife.

Bruce: Clark, theres someting you need to know.

Clark: What?

Bruce: When I married Lucy, it was the happiest day of my life.. but what I didn't think about was the consequences that came with it.

Clark: Consequences?

Bruce: Clark, when we do the things we do, we will always have enemies and they will always go after the ones we love.

Clark: But we can't face this life alone. We could save the whole world Bruce, but we have to take care of our hearts too.

Clark starts to walk away when Bruce speaks.

Bruce: Where are you going?

Clark: I'm going back.

Bruce: you can't... its too risky.

Clark: I think its worth the risk.

Bruce: then I'm coming with you.

Clark: Fine. But I need to make one stop before we go see them.

Bruce: Okay, lets go.

*The Kents*

There is a knock on the door and Jonathan answers the door.

Jonathan was in shock.

Jonathan: Clark?

Clark: In the flesh.

Jonathan: Bruce??

Bruce: Yup.

Jonathan: Oh my god!

Then Jonathan gave them a big hug.

Jonathan: Martha! get over here quick.

Martha walked over to the door.

Martha: What is it Jon-.. CLARK!!!!!!!!!

Clark: MOM!

They give each other a tight hug.

Bruce: Mrs. Kent.

Martha: Bruce!

She gives him a tight hug.

Martha: What happened? I thought you two were dead.

Clark: Its a long story.

Martha: Well come in your just in time for dinner!

They all go inside and settle for dinner. During dinner Clark and Bruce explained what happened. Martha and Jonathan were both shocked and disappointed.

Martha: Bruce, I know you were trying to protect Lucy but thats not the brightess way to do it. The same with you Clark with Lana.

Clark: We know.

Jonathan: You two could save the whole world but you have to

Clark and Bruce: take care of our hearts.

Jonathan: Yea... exactly.

Martha: So what are you two going to do now.

Clark: I guess we have to bring back Superman and Batman.

Bruce: About that... did anyone notice that when Clark and I disappeared Superman and Batman did too?

Martha: No, I don't think so... The Daily Planet think that Superman and Batman couldn't save Clark and Bruce on time so they fled the city out of guilt.

Clark: Who wrote that?

Martha: Chloe.

Bruce: Do you think she found out?

Clark: I don't know.

Jonathan: Well Chloe does have some journalistic instincts that nothing can get passed her.

Bruce: So should we go to her first?

Clark: What are we going to say?

Bruce: Maybe she could write an article about heroes coming back.

Clark: How about a simple hi.

Bruce: Or that could work too.

Clark: when do we leave?

Bruce: Early morning.

Clark: Can we bunk here for the night mom?

Martha: Of course, you are always welcomed here.

Jonathan: Wait. Lana and Lucy are coming over tomorrow morning.

Clark: We'll be gone before anybody notices.

Martha: Okay let me get some blankets and some fresh clothes.

Clark: Thanks mom.

She gives them one last hug and goes upstairs.

*Later that Night*

Martha goes to the loft with some extra blankets and Clark is standing up and looking out into the night sky.

Martha: I brought some extra blankets.

Clark: Thanks mom.

Martha: So since your not sleeping... I want to tell you something.

Clark: What is it mom?

Martha: When you were about 2 years old.. it was your first day of school. I was dropping you off and you wouldn't let go of my hand because you were scared that I wasn't going to come back. But I told you that I was going to be right here waiting for you when you come out of school. So you let go and started walking toward the entrance of the school when a little girl dropped her lunchbox. As the gentlemen your were, you picked it up and handed it to her.

Martha started to giggle.

Clark: What is it? whats so funny?

Martha: What happened after you gave her the lunchbox.

Clark: What happened?

Martha: You handed her the lunchbox and the little girl said thank you and kissed you on the cheek. Seconds after the bell rang and everyone ran off to class but you.

Clark: Why didn't I go?

Martha: you were in shock... that was the first kiss you had and you were shocked. Then when I looked at the girl, I realized that she was the girl from the candyshop a few days before that.

Clark: Candyshop?

Martha: you don't remeber much of your childhood memories do you?

Clark: No, sorry.

Martha: Well I remember some of it.. the girl walked off when you gave something to the girl beside her.

Clark: I wonder who the girl with the lunch box was.

Martha: That girl was Lana.

Clark: Lana Lang?

Martha: Yup.

Clark: The Lana Lang that I asked to marry?

Martha: Yes Clark.

Clark: Wow... I can't believe we knew each other when we were kids.

Martha: It is hard to believe... years later you end up marrying her.

Clark: yea..

Martha: You two were obviously meant to be together.

Clark: yea.

Martha: Well I better let you get some rest. you have a big day tomorrow.

Clark: thanks mom.

Martha: Good night clark.

Clark: by the way mom... where does lana live now?

Martha: she lives with her sister in Bruce's mansion.

Clark: okay good night.

Martha: good night son.

Then Clark slept on the couch and fell into a beautiful sleep with a beautiful dream...

*Dream Sequence*

Its a hot day at Crater Lake when Clark comes out from the woods and looks out at the lake. He then walks out to the dock and takes off his shirt. Just then Lana came behind him.

Lana: hey clark.

Clark: Lana... uh.. i didn't think anybody else was out here

Lana: Looks like we had the same idea for cooling off.

Clark: yea.. its a scorcher.

Lana then is attracted to his bare chest while Clark is playing with his shirt. After a moment of looking at his chest Clark breaks the silence.

Clark: yea.. maybe I should come back.

Lana: Oh no why? its a big lake... just enough for the both of us.

Clark looks at her suprised.

Lana: I'm game if you are.

Clark raises his eyebrows.

Lana walks pass him

Lana: No peeking.

She strips down and jumps in the water and right after she does Clark turns around and sees Lana in the water.

Lana: your turn Clark, promise I won't peek.

She turns around as Clark takes off his clothes and jumps in.

Lana turns back around and doesn't see Clark.... she gets a little worried when she doesn't see him.

Lana: Clark!

She looks around again.

Lana: Clark!

Moments later Clark pops up from the water.

CLark: BOO!

Lana turns around and splashes him.

Lana: don't do that!

He splashes her back and then there splashing each other and then they stop. They are laughing and having a good time.

Lana: you- not funny..

Then they get closer.

Lana: I always said there should be nothing between us.

Clark: Now theres not.

They get closer until there lips meet for a passionate kiss. Lana wraps her arms around his neck and they share a kiss of a lifetime.


Clark is sleeping with the most best Kent smile ever.

ONE FRIGGIN YEAR! IT TOOK THEM 1 YEAR TO COME BACK!:eek: OH IDIOTS! at least they came back! dang! I hope Lana and Lucy take it......erm....well.....:( and that was cool what Martha said of Clark and him meeting Lana in their childhood and the dream sequence (from "Slumber" a little altered) was awesome! loved it!PPMS!!!!!:D:D:D
