Ok, Ive been in love with my PSP for months and today I now have yet another reason to love it. I downloaded the 2.00 hardware update, the one that allows you to surf the web, and I must say with out a doubt it so friggin awesome. Im actually typing this thread out on my PSP. Ive tested it on all my favorite websites and it works great.

yes, but how much does all this cost, in terms of internet???

another question, they say it plays mp3, is it stored into the psp or you have to download the music into a memory stick before you can actually play it???

also, what other features does it have???

You're so lucky that you have a PSP. My parents are afraid that if I have some fun with video games, I won't study anymore! :( The only game thing I've ever had is Gameboy Color! *sobs can be heard in the background*

The music, pictures, movies, and other stuff is saved onto your PSP memory stick. Depending on how big the Memory stick is, more and more stuff can be kept.

Other features: You can now download content off the internet for your games. (if available)

When the Sony PS3 comes out, their will be more features available for the PSP. Some of the features that have already been mentioned are: being able to use the PSP as a control for the PSP.

Being able to connect your music files, video files, picture files, and other stuff on your PSP to your PS3.

And pretty much transfer anything you want from the internet onto your home TV.

You access the web through your own internet connection. I have DSL and have my own home networking system set up. I just configured my PSP to use the same connection wirelessly off my router.

You download music and movies to your PC. You can then transfer them directly to the Memory Stick Pro Duo if you have an adaptor or you can connect the PSP to your PC and transfer the files that way using a USB connection.

Plans are in place for a TV tuner.

You can now download movies directly if you have the web browser.

You can set up your own wallpaper.

And you can play the best looking portable games out there. :D

From the words of Paris Hilton...."that's hot" :rotfl:

but what happen's if you have dial-up instead of DSL

man the PSP makes the ipod the thing of the past.

And that's not even including the space that's already being occupied by other files like movies, game files or pictures.

Oh and not to mention that the memory is expensive.

A gigabyte of memory costs about 150$.

Yep it's that expensive.^^^

That's cool Jellie, chances are our gonna get the PS3 before I do. I'm running short with money now that I'm heading off to college. So I'm gonna have to wait a year an a half before I buy it.:\
