That could be fun! I haven't seen the Smurfs since... OMG, I don't know, since I was three or something. They were on Boomerang a few years back (if they aren't now), but I haven't had Boomerang for a couple years now.
Thanks for the news, Verses. :)

I don´t mind the Smurfs being CGI, but I think the smurf village should be miniature sets to get the feeling that they in fact are very small. Then it would be cool if they designed the smurfs so that they look a bit like their respective voice actors and maybe even make some references to other movies they´ve done.
That's great
Wait till Ferd knows :p

Smurfs Rule!! I heard on the radio the other day that not only does Paramount want to make a smurf movie, but is wanting to make a smurf trilogy!
This may have just been gossip and all because the lady also went on to talk about Colin Farells new ah..."movie"-where he may join the ranks of Paris Hilton and Tommy Lee/Pamela Anderson-*hint* *hint*
I love the smurfs and all, but a trilogy? Just seems wierd to me.

Hey can someone sing their little song they used to always sing??? I think Gargamel should be played by Ben Stillar and Smurfette should be played by Michael Jackson

Actually, I can really see Stiller as Gargamel. Just give him some make up to look older and a bald wig and he´s there!
Also, I really hope the musical score will have the same sound there was in the show, that was some of the best music I´ve ever heard in an animated series.

There were two females ;) Sassette was also created by Gargamel, just like Smurfette was :)
I wouldn't mind a movie if they don't screw it up. I love the Smurfs, I watch them everyday on the Boomerang Channel :)

Did any of you collect smurfs? I got loads of them, and still keep them at home! I even have this awesome Supersmurf with a red cape and an S shield on his chest.
