Well I've played a lot of video games on every console and I'm playing even more now. So I thought to myself, it would be cool if you guys could give me a title to try out and then I could write a game review for you. No I wont buy the game but I'll definetly rent and re-rent the game in order to complete it.

So I'll be like your K-Site Video Game Reviewer.

So Please, post any game or games you'd like reviewed, and I'll be sure to give you feedback as soon as I can.

Games are judged on a 1-10 basis

Gameplay
Graphics
Value
Story

1-5 =

6-7 = :(

8 = :)

9 or 10 = :D

The Thread has been Officially Open to all who wish to write a review.

However, those who wish to write a review MUST PM me on the game they want to review so as to not have ten reviews of one game.

And I want this thread to please stay clean of spam. I want strict disscussion of the games reviewed. Nothing else.

And of course all games must be reviewed in this format:

(Platform,Genre) Game Title:

Story Paragraph
Gameplay Paragraph
Unlockables (optional):
Conclusion Paragraph:

Then of course the reviewers personal scores on

Gameplay:
Graphics:
Value:
Story:

Then just average out the final score.

Meanwile here's the review for Killzone.

(PS2, FPS) Killzone:

Story: As the story goes, in the future, Humans will populate space and all it's planets. And the the organization or government controlling the this system are the ISA. But recently, there was a rebellion of sorts who left the organization and created their own government. These outcasts have now inhabited the a planet called Helghun and have evolved into a warlike tribe. It is your job as a member of the ISA to take the Helghun rebellion down.

Characters:

Templar: Standard Character

Riku: Specializes with more powerfull guns like machine guns

Ruger: A sneaky character if you will. Very stealthy.

Hakka: A half Helghast who can infiltrate certain enemy bases.

Gameplay: Overall, this is a very decent shooter that provides great online play. The single player campaign is also rather lengthy and provides a somewhat pleasing storyline. The weapons are pretty custom. Pistols, magnums, shotguns, battle shotguns, machine guns, uzi's, rocket and grenade launchers.

However, this game isn't really something new. The game is very standard and so is the gameplay. Not to mention the many glitches there are while playing both single and multiplayer modes. The 4 characters provide a rather okay replay value. But overall this game is nothing new.

Conclusion: If you like the hardcore dust n' bullets kinda game, this is your game. One thing I will say, is that playing 2 or 3 player Killzone is just a waste of time. The maps are way too big and there is no way to make them smaller. You might spend about ten minutes trying to find your opponent just because there is no map to lead you the way. Not to mention the waste of time in finding the weapons and then losing them after a 10 to 20 second showdown.:\

Gameplay: 8
Graphics: 7.9
Value: 8
Story: 8.5

Score: 8.1/10 :)

(PS2, FPS) Area 51:

Story: The game revolves around a character by the name of Ethan Cole who is assigned along with his crew, to go deep into the secret government facility and rescue some soldiers trapped down below. Little did they know that would they discover was beyond their imagination. Ethan is later infected with a virus created by the alien race to kill mankind.

Characters: Ethan Cole

Gameplay: Area 51 provides a very standard FPS. The graphics are decent and the gameplay is pretty fun. You'll definetly find the game challenging at certain parts, but after figuring out startegies, the game is a piece of cake. The weapons range from pistols to little thunderballs that shock and kill all enemies nearby. The AI however dont pose much of a threat later in the game. You'll find that you can pretty much use the sniper rifle or the alien bubble gun on any of the enemies and take them out with ease.

The game is very very easy. And it becomes even easier after reaching the 1/4 mark of the game, when you gain the ability to become a half mutated monster. When using Ethan as a mutant, you are able to crawl at a fast rate and shoot parasites that replenish your health when they successfully hit enemies.

Unlockables: While playing different scenerios and missions, you will encounter hidden files that can be scanned to unlock movies and other things. There are 5 files you need to collect per scenerio in order to unlock an alien as a usable character in multiplayer mode.

Conclusion: To sum it all up, this is a fun FPS with some kind of replay value. The story is good and the voice acting is also very good. Although I did find the enemies very easy even in Hard mode, the game provides 14 hours of unique gameplay.

Gameplay: 8.5
Graphics: 8.2
Value: 7.8
Story: 8.5

Score: 8.3/10 :)

(Xbox, Wrestling) WWE Wrestlemania 21:

Story: If you count becoming the next heavyweight champ a story, well then there it is.

Gameplay: Well the game provides different modes like career mode and free play mode. But this game I have to say right off the bat...SUX. After long anticipation for this title, it has brought nothing but dissapointment. The actual gaming is pretty simple to learn but the storyline is horrible. The gameplay is just really not fun. You will grow tired of the game after about 1 hour of gameplay. The best feature in this game is probably the voice acting or the graphics which are actually pretty decent.

However the gaming is just plain old not fun. Your opponent will spend a lot of the time on the ground after being hit with a chair or a table and pretty much makes it too easy as the user. The multiplayer offline is I guess pretty interesting but not really fun. The career mode is okay but that doesn't change the fact that the actual gaming is just lame. The characters are very sluggish in their movement after being hit and the grappling isn't that amusing.

The online play....well let's just say THQ has had a bit of crash. I've been checking online to see if it was just my online connection that didn't work, but as it so happens....THERE IS NO ONLINE PLAY. When trying to access the server, it will always say that it has some troubleshooting problems. Very annoying.

After much anticipation, this game has just joined into the line of bad wrestling games for the Xbox.

Conclusion: I will not reccomend this game at all. This game is poorly, poorly made and I reccomend that nobody buy this game. It was simply a disaster.

Gameplay: 2
Graphics: 8.3
Value: 3
Story: 4

Score: 4.3/10

(PSP, RPG) Untold Legends:

Story: Like every RPG, this game provides a unique story to play by. You startoff the story in a town called Aven where little spiders which they call praetox have attacked the city. It is your job as a guardian to protect and follow orders from the elders in the city. Which is great cause you really only have to come back to one place to recieve missions and buy potions and weapons and armor and such. And pretty much the story is driven by the different missions the townfolk send you on.

Gameplay: This game is fun like no other. The easy to use spells, and upgrading of status is fun and highly addictive. Also, the missions they send you on make you want more and more hack n' slash. It takes less than ten minutes to get used to the controls in this game.

Characters:

Druid: The killer of killers. Overall a pretty good guy to use.

Alchemist: The magician in this game. She can summon different creatures to fight alongside with you.

Knight: The standard character to use in this game with high strength and intelligience

Berserker: Maybe one of the coolest characters in this game. He's kinda like a monkey type character that attacks with his man-made claws.

Conclusion: The unique bosses, enemies, dungeons, weaponry, items, and characters of this game make it a highly addictive and very fun game for the new platform. If you're a fan of Diablo 1 or 2 this is your game. I will say that the hack n' slash gameplay gets repetetive after about lv.30. (Maximum level is 50)

Gameplay: 8.3
Graphics: 8.4
Value: 8.7
Story: 8.5

Score: 8.5 :)

(PS2, Adventure/Fighter/Stealth) Batman Begins:

Story: While you would think that the game was limited to just the simple plot of the movie, it goes further than that and exeeds to creating it's own little story, but still on track with the movie.

Gameplay: As you probably have heard, the creators of Batman Begins tried their hardest to make this game a stealth/adventure game. The main focus of this game was to strike fear into your opponents by breaking things in your enevironment. And I mean EVERYTHING. I would say that about 75-80% of your environment can be blown up or broken. The controls are pretty easy to figure out but it takes more time to get your "Stealth On" if you catch my drift.

So pretty much, the game revolves around breaking the scenery in order to strike fear into the enemies to make them easier to knock out....however...that's pretty much all this game is. While it does provide some cool rides like the batmobile, the game comes off as a Splinter Cell knockoff. The Stealth feature really isn't that great and pretty much get's old about half way through the game. Not to mention that the enemies are pretty easy to kill regardless of whether you scare them or not. You also have an interregation feature where you could get info from the bad guys, but that also gets old about halfway through the game.

Graphics: While the game provides great detail in light and shadow (much like Splinter Cell), the graphics aren't too spectacular. They're good, but they're not that good.

Conclusion: This is a pretty cool game, not as cool as I expected it to be. Seeing as how interviews with the creator made the game seem almost heavenly. But like all the Batman games, this has been just another failure. I do reccomend it for the Bat fans, but for those seeking a cool Splinter Cell kind of Dark Knight, all you'll be finding with this game is a knockoff.

Gameplay: 7.5
Graphics: 8.5
Value: 7.9
Story: 8.4

Score: 8/10 :)

You are of course givin missions while at these places.

The game is the same, the only thing that is different is the controls and the graphics. And even that isn't too much more different. I really do not reccomend this game if your looking for an adventure game.

If your a bat fan and want it just for the heck of it, I guess you could get it, but it really isn't anything special.

Revenge of the sith is INCREDIBLY easy even on hard the camera angles aren't very good and the bosses are OK .

If you're a big Star Wars fan you might like it but I completed it in 2 days (Which is quick for me) just like I did with Republic commando. they seem to make to many Star wars which are too short.

So if you're a big Star Wars fan it might be worth it. But it's very short.

(PS2, Third Person Shooter/Adventure) Destroy All Humans:

Story: Your character is Krypto and pretty much, as the title says, your trying to destroy all humans to use the Earth as your center of resources.

Gameplay: While the game offers very eye pleasing visuals and pretty cool gadgets, you can't deny the fact that the game is pretty repetetive and the actual game maps aren't that big. But now that the negatives are out of the way, I want to say that this was a very funny and pretty fun game. As I said before, the game offers a free roam world, much like the Spiderman and Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice, and SA. Krypto says random comments every once in a while that actually end up being funny. There's a lot of anal probing and brain gushing. This is fun game when you feel like anal probing cows and zapping or shooting people with your death ray (on the soaceship of course) or with your gun beam. This game is actually fun to play and I'd reccomend it to pretty much anybody.

Conclusion: I'd actually reccomend renting this game rather than buying it. You won't really want to keep it. It's just one of those games that entertains you for like a week then it just loses it's touch.

Gameplay: 8.5
Graphics: 8.9
Value: 8.5 (YAY ANAL PROBING)
Story: 8.4

Score: 8.6 :)
