Well I can't seem to be able to post thumbnails from PhotoBucket. I could do that with Imageshack but now that I made an account with PB I can't find the urls for the thumbs.
Yet I've seen lots of people do that.

When you submit an image to photobucket it comes up with 3 different link's underneath it. Just click on the [img] link so that it all comes up blue, then copy the link and paste it onto your posts.

If I do that, I'm posting the whole image, not a thumbnail:\

Oh so you just want the smaller image? If so, just click on the thumbnail you have on photobucket and save image as... then re submit the smaller thumb image to photobucket, then follow the same steps. If you know what I mean :)

Yeah I know what you mean, but that's not what I meant. A lot of people post thumbnails, and then if you click on them they open onto a new page with the whole picture. I know how to do it with Imageshack but not with Photobucket :confused:

Hmm. I don't know if Photobucket allows that. I can check really quick. :\

Okay! I figured it out!

What web browser do you have? (I need to know so that I can tell you how to do it!)

I mainly use Safari, but have Explorer too. Thanks :)

I have no idea what Safari is or how it works, so I'll give you instructions for IE. :lol:

1. On the normal album page, right click the picture you want the thumnail for.

2. Click on 'Properties' (the last choice on the menu).

3. In the Properties box that opens, highlight the Address (URL) and press Ctrl and C at the same time. (This copies the highlighted part, in case you don't know, though I'm sure you already do.)

4. Click 'OK' or 'Cancel' (this closes the Properties box).

5. Do the usual IMG tags, and paste the address between them.



Example:

Just get rid of the *, of course. :)

You know, looking at the URLs, I think you just need to add th_ in front of the image name.

Like:

http://photobucket.com/albums/b328/24thefast/th_clark09.jpg

http://photobucket.com/albums/v120/stiletto66/th_bop1.png


Try it. It's worth a shot. :)
