My 1st play/musical is kind of an amusing story.I happened to be downtown very early 1 morning when I was walking by the Fischer theater-the big stage/theater in Michigan-when they just opened up to sell tickets to 'Annie'-I had never been to a play b4-new years eve was coming up so i got the 1st 2 tickets sold to the new years eve performance. Well,me and my girlfriend ,we were dressed nice, but not dressed up by any means-get there, are shown to our 2 front row, center balcony seats-best seats in the house-surrounded by people dressed in tuxes and gowns lol.But we really enjoyed the play.
Though I havent been to any others -I really like some musicals like Jesus Christ Superstar,Hair,Godspell,Tommy,Damn Yankees,Calamity Jane,Bye-Bye Birdie.

My first musical I saw was two years ago on Broadway around Christmas time: 42nd Street and loved it. Though I haven't seen the stage productions I love The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Aida, The Lion King, and Chicago.

I've only seen two, but plan to see a whole lot more.
I happened to love both, which were musicals:
'Wicked' and 'Rent'.
They were awesome, anyone else happen to see them?

I have never been to Broadway. But I did see Camelot here in Portland, Oregon with Robert Goulet. It was great!

I saw Mel Brooks's the Producers, I loved it so much. There was so much comedy to it and a pretty great storyline.

I love musicals, but the first play that ever made a big impact on me was a production of The Daughter-in-Law, by D.H. Lawrence. I was astonished that theatre could be so emotional, and sexy, and funny, and completely involving. Musicals are great fun, but many are so busy and artificial they can be rather distancing.

All right now, who's seen Spamalot yet?

I saw my first musical on Broadway last spring. It was 'Beauty and the Beast' and I thought it was amazing. I would love to see 'The Phantom of the Opera' and 'Wicked'.
