View Full Version : The Danny Elfman Batman theme in season finale

in the first scene with Clark in the north pole...we see the camera pan away from him and he is kind of looking around to see where he just beamed to...and the music...for some strange reason plays the Batman theme that Danny elfman created in the early 90's...im sure it was either A. An extreme coincidence. or B. Its there to hype up the Batman Begins movie footage but that kind of makes less sense then option "A" since Batman Begins will not have that theme in it as far as i know....anyway...i have it on my DVR and I kept playing it over and over again just make sure...it is unmistakabley the Elfman Batman Theme.

That's weird and yet kinda cool though I bet they only choose it because it was dramatic for a dramatic moment while simutaneously plugging the New Batman movie.

It's not the Batman theme. It might appear similar, but it sounds more optimistic than the dark and pessimistic batman theme.

I thought that the way Clark throws the crystal it was similar to what Jeff East did in Superman:The Movie,and the fact that Clark is now South,it appears that soon he will discover the
Fortress of Solitude unless I am wrong of course.

Still I loved the episode!

itīs not the danny elfman theme. 100% sure.

I did hear this theme before but donīt know where. I know it has something to do with previous supermanīs incarnations (movies, lois and clark or even cartoons).

the final part of the theme (when we see the stone in the air, twisting around) is the most important part.

I have some scenes in my head: chris reeves leaving the FoS in Superman the movie, but canīt remember.

Any suggestions??
