ok well just out of curiosity....im not a particular fan of lex/lana or clark/lana ship...but both were hinted at or, blatently expressed in the season finaly. and im not totaly sold that lex was just using lana for the stones...well that was obviously part of it, but i think the writters are still leaning towards an attempted lex lana thing....but any way if you had to chose one or the other what would it be?



i would go with lex lana just for the pure fact that it is something dif and other than clark

I don't really care for Lex/Lana. I don't think it's gonna happen, either. Lana doesn't seem like she likes Lex, to me. It just seems like Lex has some weird one-way crush on her, like tons of average FotWs before him.

But to be fair, I can't say I really like Clark/Lana, either. Like you mentioned, it's old.

I think they should just give up on the whole love triangle. It's not Jerry Springer's show, it's a show about Clark becoming Superman. If it helps push Lex and Clark apart, I say Lana gets together with Lex. That's the only circumstance I would agree to.

But let us not forget how important Lana is to Clark in his early years and to the whole Superman mythology. I don't think it's old to have Clark and Lana get back together because if you think about it, that is what the whole show revolves around. Lana is Clark's first love and probably the woman he would have married if not for Lois. Plus, in the comics, Lana is one of the first ppl that Clark shows his powers to. I don't know if this will happen on Smallville with Chloe now knowing but it is possible.

i think lana should just stay away from both cause she doesnt know clarks secrete and it will just add more pressure till she finds out and i think reading somewhere or i heard some where that in the comics or something that lex like wants to clone lana and when he does it turns the clone into supergirl or something. im not sure.
