Chloe - Will She Die?

Just wondering what you guys think - (No ill will intended to the character or actress.) Since she's not in the major mythos and already knows too much - Do you think she we die next season based on the cave explosion or some other reason?

I'm always fearing Chloe will get the kill-off before the end of the series, but I have no idea how or when it will happen. Probably close to the end of the show, though. So, if season 5 does turn out to be the last season, she very well could die next season. ;__;

She's won't die cos she's still an important factor in Clark's life. And also the fact that she's now probably in Lex's custody, killing her could wage a war between Lex and Clark, something too early to happen.

well, she has alredy "died" once, i think it would be too much "cake on cake" (as we say in Sweden)..
i don't think she will die, i think she will just vanish in some episode in season 5.

Many have made reasonable arguments for the reasons her character will be killed off. HOWEVER, as I stand firm on, I take the opposite stand for a variety of reasons. If DC bought the character and will be including Chloe in print, why kill off the character already? Additionally, she could be one heck of a force that moves Clark towards his destiny, perhaps in a way that Dr. Swann intended to, all this without having to do it posthumously. Indeed, Chloe was killed off once, to do it again and mean it this time just seems like a plotline running out of ideas. If she isn't destined to become the Lois Lane of the Daily Planet, she could end up in hiding with other purposes. She may also have some sort of Kryptonian effect placed on her, causing her to become a FoTW in her own right. Chloe (and of course the brilliant actress Allison) have too much to offer the show IMHO to be tossed aside (yes, I know Pete is gone for knowing too much, but hey, he didn't die!). The ultimate protector of Kal-El.....that or she will become Catwoman :D

I hope she dies, and I think she will, eventually. My fear is that they will wait until the series finale before offing her. If they are going to do it, I hope they do it at least 3 or 4 episodes before the show ends. The show needs to end on a high-note, not a low-note, so the finale shouldn't have anyone's death.

As far as DC buying the character... since they haven't used it yet, its all speculation about their plans. I prefer to believe that they bought the character to prevent Al & Miles from trying to corrupt the mythos by having her become Lois. But, like I said, until she shows up in comics, or something happens to her on the show, it's all speculation.

the chloe knowing plot is really interesting if they kill her off a very intresting plot line will be gone. she is a viewer favorite, if she dies many will stop watching and without allison mack on the show the only good actors will be mr and john glover

Well, I whole heartedly agree that without the beautiful and talented Ms. Mack I will be better off watching channels in foreign languages I can't understand; but I would certainly not exclude TW from your "only good actors" list ;)

yeah TW is a great actor and hot but imo he is not at par with am mr and glover and it may just be an experience thing so im sure he'll get better

My thought was, how can Clark not eventually fall in love with Chole if she reveals she knows his secret. When he finally learns this it would bind them together because she could share something with him that Lana has never been able too. Plus, even if she does not, Chole finally understands Clark, and Clark is noticing this. Lana does not understand him. Chole is going to be there for him now, no matter what. The question is how is he suppose to fall in love with Lois Lane? It makes no sense at the moment.. I don't agree with the writers bringing in Lois Lane and making her Chole's cousin, staying at Clarks house acting like his obxious older sister. They should of made Chole turn out to be Lois. That would of been a real twist on the story, and Clark falling in love with her would make sense. She could loose her memory or something and forget being friends with Clark. When she falls for Superman, she'd really be falling for Clark Kent again, not realizing it. But I guess instead their giving us the less interesting story of killing the character of Chole off after she guides Clark in his destiny to be Superman, perhaps never having him know, she knows his secret till the end. It will be conveniently too late for them to have any relationship. Sad thing is, their making us sympathize with Chole so much right now, we want Clark to wake up and see how she's the one he should be falling for. We really like her. We should like Lois Lane like this, but don't.

Superman/Clark is an idiot hehe he's had a lot of girlfriends in the comics and he tells all of them his secret identity. Just to name a few he had a mermaid gf with the initials LL, then Lana Lang who knows who he is, and Lois Lane who he even eventually marries. There are a couple others but dont remember the names.

Chloe should stay Chloe, they should keep her alive and if they want they can have her in the comics as Lois's cousin it wouldn't be that hard to do, wether she lost her memory or she was another of the keepers of his identity I think she is a pretty interesting character. I think in the show having Chloe know Clark's secret might allow him to open up and eventually be able to tell the women of his dreams, namely Lana.

I like Chloe, very much. But I really think they will kill her off. She's not in the "MYTHOS" and they've been laying it on pretty thick that she intends to be THE Daily Planet reporter. What else, besides her death could stop her from working at the Planet? We all know that's going to be Lois. So, yeah, they are DEFINITELY going to kill her :(

they could both work at the dp, lois and clark are not the only reporter for the dp. she's not currently in the comics but that could change...the superman story has not ended and in the future chloe could be in the story

I'm afraid for Chloe's life also if we could find any character for the superman mythos that resemblece her and that is still alive I'll be hopefull for her but since this isn't happening I guess she got 90% chande of dying 5% turning into Lois and 5% become a reporter at DP and marrying Jimmy Olsen;) ...Who knows maybe Nam-Ek falls in love with her and she falls back and he takes her to new Krypton to be their queen... she once told Clark that it would be cool if she could meet an alien so she just fell for the wrong alien...:D

Clark will learn the " kiss the girl to make her forget you have superpowers" french- kiss- power Supes used on Lois in Superman II the movie, and all will be well.

Well Kyle Tipet from "hug" Knows Clarks powers and He and Pete aren't in the Supes mythos either. They are still alive and kicking.

someone in another thread said they were looking for met u locations so this could be a good sign. if she knows about his powers he could go see her in every episode :D w/ super speed.
