With all the times that Clark has had to save his friends and family, and with meteors hitting all of Smallville it must be scary for Clark to not be in Smallville right now protecting those he loves.
I wonder if they will express that emotion that Clark must feel in the show next season. How long do you suppose he will be at the FOS before he goes home?

I thought about that too. I don't think he'll stay too long in the FOS. He needs to get back to Smallville. I predict he'll see it, talk to Jor-el, and find out how to travel back and forth through the portal, with instructions from Jor-el about what he will be doing, and then he'll let him go back almost immediately.

I think Clark thinks he is protecting everyone by getting all three elements like Jor-el said to. Also he thinks his parents are evacuated. I think when he gets back and realizes that they were home, that Chloe was in the cave, and that Lana was in the helicopter crash (and whatever else may happen to her) then he will feel torn and go through some major emotions. I don't think he will stay at the FOS, if they show it, for long if at all.

I think he will blame Jor-El for what has happened to his family and friends. I still can't wait how he will react to the new Lex Luthor.

Good point The Source. It will be very hard for Lex to explain his behavior during the meteor shower, especially to Chloe and Lana. They both saw him acting crazy and evil about the stones and they might be catching onto the fact that Lex has gone evil and relay that to Clark.

Yeah, it's going to be an interesting season! Lex has shown his bad side for sure.

Interesting thought about the "portal" ckfan. If there is an actual portal to the FOS then that will be interesting to see Clark have to hide it from Lex. Lex knows something big is there now......

Well didnt the meteor shower already stop once clark put all the stones together? I'll have to watch the episode to find out again but i think the only one thats in trouble would be Lana at this point. The ship might not be dangerous at all though.

Well, he already tried the blame game on Jor-El in the beginning of the episode. Jor said straighout it wasnt him that did this, but the blood on the element. It was in fact Clark's denying his Kryptonian hertiage that helped triggered this tragic event. If he blames Jor-El again, then I dont know how he is going to become the Superman we know from the comics. Hopefully he wont, and he will learn from this experience and not have a short term memory.

Yea, I saw the meteors stopped in Commencement. Lois saw the destruction of Smallville. As stated before he might be able to go back in time to stop it. Almost as a homage to the Superman: The Movie.

I hope there's emotional continuity this time around. I don't know about this though, tptb can't even seem to keep emotional continuity from one episode to the next within a season, I'm not sure they can do it from one season to another.

I'm hoping for the same. We get these really strong emotionally based episodes then the next one has none whatsoever, but if we Al and Miles we'll surely get it. I just don't want to see another jump in time, again like Season 1 to Season 2 - finished the Tornado story and just jumped into the Fall.

I agree. They were better this time from Crusade to Gone as compared to the emotional continuity of Exile to Phoenix. I guess I'm hoping the emotional continuity stays throughout the season. Its as if they end an episode, and sometimes emotionally they dont connect the following episodes. They did that many times this season.

Even if they do jump in time. As long as they have the continuity emotionally and references of past episodes consistent it shouldnt be a problem. I'm just kinda annoyed by it since we been having the same mishaps in the past three seasons :(.

I hope someone from the show reads this. It seems that there are a few things that are the same that most fans agree need to be fixed. Do you suppose someone does read this stuff?

i think when clark makes the fortress of solitude jor el is going to explain some stuff and tell clark to get back to smallville as soon as posible cause he needs to stop something from destroying earth and i think that whatever happened to lionel luther will make him clarks mentor or something and will train him. i dont think he will be staying there for long if he knows the people he cares about are in danger.
