Screaming for celestial attention?

When they first found out about the meteor shower coming Chloe made a statement that someone in Smallville must be sreaming for celestial attention. At first I thought it was just because she was trying to get Clark to tell her but then I relized that she doesn't know about Clark being from the cosmos she just thinks hes infected by the meteor rocks. So was she putting 2 and 2 together or was she just being Choe and exploring options?:p

She was just being Chloe. I don't think she had any idea Clark is an alien.

Well in the beginning, I don't think she knew anything about Clark being from the cosmos. Lex probably spies on everybody, including Chloe, so we can surmise that he knows that Chloe has been investigating the caves, that is why he said she knew more than she was telling; When she saw Clark unconscious with the transference stone she linked him with the caves; this takes us to the cave where she pushes Lex into the wall because she doesn't wan't him to figure out that it is Clark, but she doesn't fully know the extent to which the caves are actually connected to advanced race of aliens, let alone Clark. But when she saw Clark go through the blinding light, she might of connected everything from the past; the connection between Dr. Swan and why he contacted Clark about the symbol burned on the side of the barn, and she knows that Dr. Swanson had an affinity about a notion that there is life beyond Earth's solar system.

Chloe has not been investigating the caves... at least, not more than any other wall of weird material. I just think that Lex is a master at deception and lies and is a good judge of when someone is lying to him. That is how he knew Chloe knew more than she told him.. he knew she was holding something back, and jumped to the obvious conclusion.

And its Dr. Swann.. Swanson's is just an ice cream place in Miami:p
