My mind was split between 'eewwy Lex does love Lana' and 'Yes! He is using her!' I hope you're right, MBCorp, because, otherwise, this whole episode was tainted by gross Lexana badness. sdWrx21 was right about him seeming stalkerish. Welcome to the absolute destruction of the beautiful Lex character by the pink. And sadly, I didn't hate Lana as much as Lex in this episode (if he was in fact being truthful about his, ick, love for her.)

Don't hate Lex! He was just using her, it was really obvious to me that he was. And like I said, Lana even mentions it. Lex has become a master manipulator, remember how smooth and friendly he was towards Clark when he tricked him in Blank? Lex has gotten good at manipulating and tricking people, he was just pretending to care about Lana's safety. What he really cared about in the entire episode was getting those stones, that's all that he talked about and what his mind was concentrated on, not on Lana.
