Kara Zor-El is too soon but still a possiably.

Maybe someones ship got stuck in the Metor and Crash landed. Could it be someone who is in status and when Lana looks, she will find two people. Could it be Jor-EL and Lara? Thoughts

I'm telling you it's BRANIAC, he is the one who holds all of Krypton's knowledge. Things are going to get interesting next season with him around.

Branica is a great bet, or the Eradicator

I doubt it's Kara Zor-El, in fact I HIGHLY doubt it's her.

Jor-El did say to Clark in the caves that this meteor shower contained something, I forget the exact words, but the gist of it was that it was something dark, evil.....something to that effect.

I highly doubt it's Zod or Brainiac, though the latter is more likely than the former. Who knows, Season 5 rumors are tight lipped right now, and I managed to find a link to an interview with the creators that said there is a Season 6 pretty much confirmed, but 7 would be it if it came to that. But no mention of whatever it is that Lana has the 'luck' of finding.

Didn't Jor-El tell Clark that blood staining the element awakened some dark evil in space or something to that affect? So I would assume whatever is in that ship, it's not something nice. I agree that it's some kind of enemy Clark will have to return and fight next season. I don't know what enemy, cause I'm not that up on Superman mythology, but I'm gonna go with the Braniac or Eradicator people that others have mentioned. Sounds likely. ~Karie

^^ question If it is in fact JOR-El, why in the blueheck would he send someone or something evil to get the heads with his biological son,, so that imposes two questions right,, Is it really Jor-El and if so why does he send an enemy for Clark???????????

My husband is a comic book junkie and he says it's Brainiac. I wish I knew more about it all. Aren't Lara and Jor-El dead?

What if the ship was meant for Clark to find and suppose to crash in the Arctic where he ended up??? The key activates the ship and shuts it down??? Instead it ended up in Smallville???

What do you think??

I would love it to be Brainiac or some other cool villian for season 5 but I am still very much doubt that TPTB would bring in a character like that to Smallville. Personally, I would love it but I think that it might shy away some people that are fans of the show but not really fans of the comics.

I needed to research Brianiac so I did. Can I post a link to a site that tells us folks that are not all-knowing about him? I'll email a moderator this one.
