It was about 70 minutes here; with commercials.

But yeah, I was a little ticked that it wasn't 90 like was promised. Oh well.

64 mins here with commercials. I dont care for any of that batman stuff or whatever so I just stoped watching. Was sorta disapointed cause I was hoping to find out what happened to clark since im like "oh, still 30 mins left" and then it just ends.

im also upset because of the 6 minutes smallville ran late, caused me to miss the start of lost season finale. Now i need to wait until 10:00 (2 hour episode) before I can start watching it (im taping it on my vcr)

It's only 30 mins in right now where I live but IMO this IS the Season Finale, they WOULDNT show what happened to Clark. Cliffhanger!

The show started at 4:00PM and ended at 5:05PM on ASN and there was no Batman thingy, but I didn't think there would be.

so far, both commercial breaks have been at least 6 minutes long. I don't know exactly how many commercials were in each break because I lost patience and stopped counting when the count got to 10.

It's been on for 50 minutes now and there has been at least 6 commercial breaks, longer than ever! WB sucks

What a bunch of crap. The episode was only 75 minutes long, with over a half hours worth of commercials. This was a standard 45 minute episode with longer and more frequent commercial breaks to break up the story. At one time I noticed there was only about 5 minutes of the actual show between two 5-minute Commercial breaks! I don't even know what to think of the actual story in the episode because anytime it got interesting I had to sit through over 5 minutes of those stupid commercials and I never had a chance to get drawn into the show.

It was obnoxious. I guess the extra-generous special effects budget for this episode was provided with a rider that there would be more commercials than usual.

This had to be the first thread I visted...I am not alone!!! While I dug the content of the ep, how much freaking content was there???? I was guessing 45 mintes tops! It's a complete hype, "90 minute finale"???? Bite me!!!! 90 minutes of commercials you mean! And I didn't stay for the Batman previews, why? I dig Batman, but the previews aren't going to really show anything....and tell me, friends...did they run commercials inthe previews, too?

Dang, this ep will be SO much better on DVD!

SV rocks.....WB blows.

Actually, the Batman preview was about the longest uninterupted stretch of TV I saw tonight. They were pretty good, too. They showed how he got the Batmobile, some scenes of him training with a Jedi master, prepping his costume, and a brief scene of him as Batman.

This would have been the best episode of the season as far as actual storyline development is concerned. I haven't bought any of the DVD sets yet, but I will definitely buy this one when it comes out, just to see this episode in its normal length, commercial-free glory. If you had to pay to watch this episode, the WB should be sued for false advertising.
