Yep...that was AWESOME. Those 5 minutes were better than Ageless as a whole.

This episode DEFINITELY had the best intro.
I loved it!

Yeah, that was pretty cool. "Previously on Smallville...."
Then they pretty much do S4 in a nutshell, but the way it was put together made it look like a hint to (especially) Clark's and Lex's futures.
And to conclude it with AOT's v.o. (voice-over) saying, "And now, the season finale of Smallville." Very well done.

That was definitley the best intro. And I love that they didn't do the scenes in order -- that was great !!
I did not like the counter at all .. I understand the whole timing thing that they were going for, but why did it never hit 0 ?

I completely agree that the introductions were awesome; they played all the right clips with all the right dialogue. I esp. liked how they used Jor-el's words when he said that greed would drive others to hunt them and we saw Lionel and GT, then Jor-el mentioned something about this leading to famine, war and we see Isobel, and the earth's ultimate destruction and we saw Lex's nightmare. That was brilliant.

I loved it, but I have to agree the timer was a little well, weird.
(I couldn't read it the first three times I saw it, I was like 3 days....er..14seconds.....ahh...12weeks.......just to many numbers for me :p )
DOOT DEET DOOT DEET DOOT DEET
(hey maybe they got Keifer Sutherland to play who ever is in the ship at the end LOL)

the only thing the counter did for me was make me scream when it would go from 14 hours to 9 hours then like 1 hour then minutes...
i thought the intro was very well done.

Im still a little shocked as to what I just witnessed. This definitely was the best episode ever. And that intro was the early icing on the cake. It was superbly edited and superbly done. I mean it was just WOW! The whole timer thing didn't really bother me, I thought it was actually pretty cool, however it wouldve been nice to see it go to zero. But man I am not complaining one thing about this episode!!!
11/10!!!!!
Go TPTB!

I loved the intro! I think it showed the best scenes from the season. I also liked the way they ended it with Lex saying that. It gave me chills too. I didn't mind the counter. It was actually kind of neat.

Hitting 0 was would be a bit redundant after seeing the metors coming down.
