Are there any classic movies you think should be remade/updated?

I like war movies, so I'd like to see a remake of the movie "Patton", but make it a bit more realistic like "Saving Private Ryan" or "Band of Brothers". They could let loose with the swearing today much more than they could have gotten away with in 1970.

I'd have Gene Hackman play General Patton. He even looks and sounds more like Gen. Patton than George C. Scott did.

Iīve always wanted to see an alternate version of Ghost mainly set from Oda Maeīs point of view, where she hears Samīs voice but doesnīt see him until the end.

How much better can 'Patton' get? I'd like to see an updated version of 'Captain Blood' and 'Public Enemy'.

Personally I dont like remakes.Offhand I cant think of 1 good 1 ive ever seen.Remakes of 'Planet of the Apes' and 'The Time Machine' were terrible.A classic film is classic for a reason and should be left alone IMO.

Perhaps, 'Teen Wolf' and 'The Brain That Wouldn't Die', as they cannot possibly produce a remark worse than the original.

Hmmmmm, Godspell......though it's a classic as is.
High Society, but it's a classic too, maybe remakes aren't such a good idea.

Thereīs this serial from the 40īs called "Zorroīs Black Whip". Itīs about Barbara Meredith, a descendant of Zorro who runs a newspaper and fights for statehood for Idaho as the Black Whip. It left many things to be desired, like that they never mentioned the legacy of Zorro, the acting was mediocre and many action sequences were annoyingly repeated. I say this one could use a re-boot.
