Help! I just don't get the picture-posting!

Hi people, I hope someone can help me with this.

I've read the above thread "How to post a picture", got some webspace at Yahoo and tried to post the picture's link with those IMG tags.
The strange thing is that only a link appears, not the pic itself, and some users have told me that the link doesn't work for them.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong! Help please! :confused:

You might be putting the link to your Yahoo space instead of the image which might be the problem.

Put your mouse on the picture you want to post. Click the rightside clicker of the mouse. Click onto properties, highlight and copy the URL given. If it's a long link then you will have to hold the clicker button and move the mouse down to copy it all. Then post it using the IMG tags.

[img*]URL of image[/img*]

just take out the *

I think it has to be an actual hosting service, like Photobucket, and not yahoo.

Hmm that can't be the problem cuz that's exactly what I did.

Maybe it's Yahoo?

Could be. Try using Photobucket like Sharkie suggested.
