linking to other sites

I have a question about linking to other sites. What sort of sites can you link to? I know there's some sites you can't link to, but I'm sort of confused as to what sites you're allowed to and what sites you aren't.

No advertising personal sites. You are allowed to link to sites in a conversation as long as they are not rival Smallville sites.

It depends whether the Superman site is affiliated with KryptonSite, I believe.

If you click onto the News section of the main site you will see a list of sites that KryptonSite is linked to (right side).

The Superman Homepage site is one of them.
