Yes,Sam Raimi, creator of the Evil Dead series,is in talks with Bruce Campbell and other Evil Dead cast members about the
next Evil Dead film, and there is the probability of a remake
of the original Evil Dead movie.
I am curious but....what could the next Evil Dead movie be about?
Last time we saw Ash,he woke up in a devastated world
after the end of World War III,apparently.
"I slept too much!" he screamed.
If Sam Raimi follows this ending, what is Ash to do in a devastated world?Or,in the original US Realese,Ash returned to his
S Mart job and killed yet another deadite.
Will Ash kill more deadites in the past or in the present?
Also about the remake of the first movie,Bruce will not be in it...
An entirely new cast and director will be chosen.
So,what do you think about this?I am looking forward to
see Evil Dead 4....but the remake....I am not so sure..

I hear that Nick Brendon(Xander from Buffy) is up for the main part in the remake.

I am definitly not seeing the remake. Its gonna be bad just like most remakes are. I am having trouble believing that there is going to be an evil dead 4, i wont believe it until i read a confirmation from raimi.

Maybe we think that the remake will be bad because we are so familiar with the original. But maybe it wont be bad for those who doesnt know the original and for them it will be a fresh start.
I am curious about Evil Dead 4.The remake will be for a new generation of moviegoers. For us,the original will always rock!

Does anybody knows anything about the remake and how it is doing?Or when will be realised?
Nothing has been confirmed for this project right?

An Evil Dead 4? I have not heard about that. I have seen Evil Dead 1 and Evil Dead 3(aka Army of Darkness)
I haven't seen Evil Dead 2. If they make a fourth movie I hope they make it like the 3rd movie. Evil Dead 3 is my favorite! I don't really like the first one that much. It is O.K. but it is not my favorite movie.

There are plans to do an Evil Dead remake with a whole new set of actors, hey even thay plan to change the name of Ash for that
movie because Ash will return for Evil Dead 4.
Make sure to watch Evil Dead 2,it is really a very funny movie!
The plot for Evil Dead 4?Unknown but it might begin right
after Army of Darkness left off.

that line cracked me up the first time I saw that movie:lol:
i loved how they made the 3rd movie into a comedy/horror. it is such a fun movie to watch. i especially loved the part with the little Ashes and when he swallows the one and then another body is growing from his shoulder. That is soooo funny!
Evil Ash: "I'm bad ass and your good ass. your goody little two shoes. goody little two shoes goody little two shoes goody little..."
Good Ash: "I'm not that good."
and then BOOM! blows Evil Ash away! That part was also funny:lol:

"Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun."
I think the line "I'm not that good" is from the extended/European version.

i think the version I have on DVD is the extended version.
On the front it says something like "Official Bootleg Edition"
and it also has the original ending when he wakes up in the future because he slept too long. I like the alternate ending better though. It is shown on the TV version of Army of Darkness.
It shows Ash working at the S-Mart and he is talking to a woman about how he was in the medieval times, and she was talking to him about him being a king there and then all of the sudden a possessed person comes into the store and then Ash blows him/her away. It has been a long time since I have seen the TV version so I might have explained it differently.

Actually the original ending has Ash waking up in a destroyed world, that is the ending that made it to the director s cut.
The other ending was Ash in the S Smart store talking to a clerk about his heroics in the medieval times, that is the second ending
that made it to the theatrical realese.

I kind of like the theatrical ending better for some reason. The whole S Mart thing I enjoyed.
