here's the rundown on the conglomeration of background that is me.

My grandma (dad's side) is german
My parents are mexican
I was born in mexico
Raised in California
Studied and lived for 6 years in Mexico
and I am now in Texas

I consider myself American as well as Mexican, so I guess Mexican-American?? :D

I am third generation Irish! We all married either someone who is Irish or 100% Irish decent, so all our children are 100% Irish decent which is very unusual, but it just happened that way.

I married someone who is first generation Irish (his parents from County Clare (Ennis and Kilmaley), my brother married first generation (her parents from County Galway), my twin sister married a guy from County Donega (Letterkenny)l, and my older sister married a guy who is 100% Irish decent (2nd generation).

Being from Boston it's not too hard to believe though, because there is a lot of Irish in Boston, especially in Brighton where I grew up.:D

I have English and Scottish ancestors. Years ago, My Grandmother's family had the family tree traced back to old English history where one of my ancestors was "Sir Francis Drake" (1540 - 1596). No kidding :) He was "knighted" by Queen Elizabeth in 1581 for his exploits in the Navy. He was the first documented European to reach the Pacific coast of South America via the Atlantic route. He lead the defeat of the Spanish Armada.
