I know this site is for all ages but it freaks me out when I was on a sexual themed thread with a 13 year old. How do you handle that. Should people always check profiles? I do when someone seems exceptionally young. I know it's none of my business, but I don't want to be a creepy internet person could we rate some threads? Is there any age limit for posters? I want to be a good citizen of the board but I want to be a good person to.

The board is PG-13. So all content should be PG-13. If you have any concerns with the contents of a post, feel free to click the "report this post" button at the bottom of a post and express your concerns. This sends an email with your comment to all of the moderators and administrators.

I've seen the post you're concerned about and IMO it is so far PG-13. People are merely discussing the possibility of a characters sexuality. Even though they are suggesting that a character is perhaps gay, I don't see how that is any different from looking at evidence to suggest a character is straight. Being gay is as natural as being straight. So as long as it doesn't dissolve into a more 'mature' and 'adult' discussion, I think it should be fine. I'm not sure if the poster in question is entirely serious about their post anyhow.

Thanks, I'll try not to be overprotective. I tend to be a neighborhood mother type in real life who tells kids they shouldn't watch certain TV shows and R-rated movies or play mature video games. I know I've said alot of coments about how hot I think TW is that I'm not ashamed of but I'd never say to a 13 year old in real life. I guess the internet is just a unique form of comunication I need to get used to.

Yeah, I do understand what you mean, but while the discussion remains within the pg-13 limit, which having just checked, it is. It should be okay for a 13 y/o to participate in it. But I'll keep a special eye on it's content for you, so that nothing will get out of hand. Because the thought of that makes me very uncomfortable, too.
