View Full Version : Problems with my AVATAR

Hey KryptonSite...I am having a little bit of a problem...
SuperPillowGun made an avatar for me, (to which I am very greatful), however, whenever I try to upload it...it says it's not a valid GIF or JPEG format...

I don't know what to do to correct this...any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks.

I could be wrong, but I think it's saying that your avatar is not in a gif or jpeg format. You need to ask SuperPillowGun if he could transfer your avatar into one of those formats. Once he does you'll then be able to upload it.

I'm pretty sure that's the problem. If not reply back. :)

how big is the file? it can't be bigger than 20kb.

Disco's right. Make sure your avatar meets the requirement size. Hope the problem gets fixed. :)

Well, I looked at the Sig Thread, where he posted it. The original he posted was 31KB. He redid it and it's now 19KB and a gif file. Save that one and it should be gold.

Okay...I've run into another snag...my computer won't let me save it as a .gif...it will only allow me to save it as a .bmp...any ideas???

I know I've had that problem before, but I had it with a different browser.

How did you fix it in your browser? It might be the same type of set-up...

I wanted to formally thank everyone who has helped me out in this situation. It shows a lot of what type of Forum this is by the way that it's members respond to each other. I'm honored to be a part of KSite...and I look forward to future dealings with everyone. Thank you so much.
