pdf to gif

I recently made an awesome new avatar but kryptonsite doesn't support pdf files. Is there any way I can change it to a GIF?

I think if you open the image in Photoshop and select Save As....

Do you have ImageReady? You can save Optimized As...

Doh!!! it can only save as html, jpg or psd. What a bummer.
