Then the proceding exchange between them, I was hooked right then, and knew I was going to be behind this pairing to the end.

i'm always watching the characters and how thye interact, and i ship the ones with the most chemistry. At first i didnt mind clana, maybe even backed it... i dunno, i did think that scene were she came into the barn after she found out that whitney had strung clark up in a field, in the pilot, was sweet. However... i kept seeing these scenes with chloe and clark, and they had the best chemistry ever.

He really seemed to care for her, and she was totally besotted with him, which i could connect with. I was so happy when he asked her to the spring formal... did you see that bashful yet proud look on his face when she said yes... i'd like to see him get that with lana.

And they still have that chemistry.

I don't mind Lexana as a friendship, in fact I hope they do become better friends, but they just don't really fit as a romantic couple and they don't have that kind of sexual chemistry. I'd rather see Lana with Clark than with Lex.

I don't ship anyone in particular on SV. But there are couples I wouldn't mind seeing more than others.

I remember actually thinking Clana was cute way back in the distant past. But it seemed like the more I saw of it, the more I realized how little there was to it, the less I liked it. Then, when it got so repetative and dull, it started to annoy me.

People here are aware of the fact that Chlark scares me. It's like, I think it could be cute, but I got burned by season 2. If my choice was them just being really good friends, and a romance that nearly destroys Chloe's character, I go for good friends.

Chlex is the 'ship I find most interesting. Although not a Chlexer, I find that, when I write fic, I almost subconsciously look for ways for those two to interact. And I've written some fic that can't be called anything but Chlex.

As for Lexana...I just say no. No, no, no, no infinity.

I think the new spoilers may cause people to convert back over to Clana, for a lot of the same reasons.

Helen was really witty and didn't take any of Lex's crap which was cool. And Lex was so adorable around her. But then they made her bad and that killed it for me.

I loved Helenex, and at that time things were good on Smallville, Clark and Lex were finding love, and they were getting along. Because of the situations with Helen and Lana, we even got to see a Clark and Lex hug. :)

Yes, from the moment in the Pilot when Clark broke his gaze from Pete and Chloe to look at Lana who was smiling and talking.

I felt it right then, the same thing that Clark Kent was feeling. In that moment I connected with Clark, and Clana. That connection is strong, and everlasting.

That was pretty much what it was. The Clana aspect of Smallville is what has caused me to connect with Clark Kent. Without it, I just don't feel it.

I can definitely agree with the part about TPTB breaking up Clana. That was very dumb indeed.

They had done just enough yoyo-ing, and it looked as if we were getting the payoff. And then poof, TPTB say no, it's too early for that, let's drag it out another couple of seasons.

They didn't count on the fact that a lot of people don't have the patience for that kind of yanking around.

Like I said, I believe most people have found their couple.

There is only one other person I have ever shipped Clark with, and that was Kyla. I still shipped Clana over it by far, but if there was no Lana, then I would want Clark to be with Kyla.

I have never shipped Lana with anybody, but Clark, and that is how it will always be.

I was devastated in S2 when he picked Lana. And then he started ignoring Chloe and when he didn't ignore her he treated her like crap. So I didn't ship anyone for a while.
Then Season3 rolled around and there was an increase in Chloe/Lex interaction. And I liked it. And I saw definite chemistry. So I'm a Chlexer.

I don't even think Chlex will happen, but I'm hoping it will. It's more probable than Lexana. We all now how cranky Lana gets about 'secrets and lies.' Lex has too many for Lana to trust him. Plus she's not emotionally mature yet to respond to Lex on a very personal level.

This is funny because I still remember when the first time I saw smallville and my cousin told me. Smallville is really good and she encouraged me to buy a copy of Dvd but I ignore it because I had a favorite couple that time The OC i love ryan and marissa.
But since then my cousin always telling me to watch smallville because she tell me Clark is goregouse and Lana is beautiful and she also told me about supeman that he will end up with Lois since then i lost my interest to watch smallville , what for they will never be couple. But when I saw one of the episodes in season one I just can't forget how they really cute and romantic its just they have a connection and they move me.
Since then I watch all episodes and I bought the whole seasons of smallville and I watched all of them and I still remember I dont even sleep and I dont eat I lost pound, just to finish all episodes maybe one week I finished watching from seasons 1 to 5.
And from that time I knew I will always be a Clana fan :)

Chlark Friendship, teamateship , companionship or whatever has always been a pleasure to watch ever since s1. AM & TW have amazing chemistry, its awesome, i always thought they could also be good friends in RL, as it turned out they are actually very close and respect each other so much, making whats onscreen more believable. I dont care that much for a romance between Chloe/clark , coz its tendas to complicate things, and can ruin a friendship. CHalrk Friendship is the best ever on the show no doubt!!...I have to say though it was difficult for me to ship anyone in the early season, since everyone, kents, lex, lana, pete, clark/chloe all had great chemistry between them, but Chlark ship stood out nevertheless.

So a Chlark fan for EVER & EVER!!:rotfl:s1 -s10

My absolute fav recently is Tollie, again like chlark, im not that much interested in their romance, with tollie, its more of the amazing chemistry as friends/partners or rivals, whatever bring it on. JH/CF also have believable chem that translate from RL to onscreen. Toxic, Committed, bloodline are among my fav...

Have shipped Lois and Clark since I was about 7 years old. So for me there was no "past" ship. I came to the series when Lois Lane arrived and started shipping her with Clark Kent from day one.

I've been part of the winning ship all my life pretty much and plan to stay with it through season 10 and all the way until the comics end! :cool:

I didn't ship anyone until I was 12... which was the forth season... which was when Lois showed up.... so I've always been a Clois shipper. Before I was just too little to care about romantic stuff in Smallville. I knew that Superman would end up with Lois, even if she wasn't in the show yet. I watched LnC when I was way little, and I also watched the movies. It's always been Lois and Clark!

I enjoyed Clana and Chlark for a few episodes in S1 and S2, then got completely turned off by CHloe and Lana'characters by S2, started reading a few comics after a long break and got interested in Lois as a character.

WHen Lois arrived in S5, I fell in love with her, decided she was the best woman for my main man CLark, and started shipping Clois. I took a short detour to thoroughly enjoy Lollie in S6, and am now back to being a passionate Clois shipper forever.

Chlark through the Lana years, but when Lois arrived i knew there was little hope of Chlark. I then moved onto Chollie and their amazing chemistry. I still love Chlark though just as the best of friends. I miss their friendship. :(

Yeah, me too!!! It is strange. Before Smallville only woman I could ever imagine Clark Kent with, was Lois Lane. But when Smallville started there was no Lois Lane. Instead there was this little perky blond and from the first moment I saw those two together I became Chlarker!

Well, I've always known and believed that Clark should/would end up with Lois. So really I've always been Clois in a way. But when the show first started, I thought Clana was kind of sweet and cute and thought if done right, I could enjoy the Clana ship for what it was - first love. But it didn't take long for Clana to wear me, so then I started to think Chlark had potential to be a more interesting ship. But since that never went anywhere, I gave up (although I have enjoyed their friendship over the years). Then Lois came onto the show, and that was it and I've been Clois since.

Awww, I totally agree with that last statement, Hellen. :D

As for me, since I'm not sure if I ever officially responded to this, everyone knows that I've been a Chlarker for practically FOREVER. I still am one, too, and will never give up on them, no matter how bleak things look at times.

However, I WAS, admittedly, a brief Clana shipper waaaaaay back in Season 1, before I realized how beautiful Chlark was, and I started solidly shipping them and not Clana hardcore starting in mid-Season 2 (even though I already was really Chlarky during "Crush," "Obscura," and "Tempest"). I also was cool with Lollie and Lexana, predominantly since I thought it opened the door for the possibility of Chlark. I don't really feel like Chimmy had all that much chemistry, even though I identify with Jimmy a lot, and of course, would love to have a girlfriend like Chloe, but since I was and still am such a Chlarker, I never really shipped them. I also will say that I admire and recognize the chemistry between Clark/Lois, Chloe/Oliver, and Chloe/Davis, but my heart will always belong to Chlark. :)

Y'know, Clark and Alicia did have their moments, particularly around the time of "Pariah" and in parts of the other two episodes she was in (when she wasn't going psycho or taking him to Vegas).

But how on EARTH did I forget Lex and Helen?! I was a MAJOR shipper of that couple, and I LOVED Dr. Helen Bryce! I always thought that TPTB shouldn't have turned her evil so abruptly the way they did. I honestly would have rather seen her get killed than betray Lex like all the other women in his life. What does one call that ship, anyway? Helex? Lexen? Either way, I really like that pairing... I also wish that she had come back for a brief return appearance.
